As much as I've tried to ship mernick, they just don't click with me at all. He has less than no personality, she seems annoyed with him far more often than not, and I just don't feel real love between them even when the show tries to assure me it's there. I love Meredith and want to ship her again with someone who's actually alive, but mernick just feels so forced, bland and hollow to me. I wish I could love them!

I'm writing a series of fics in which various ships from other shows become guests at Woodstone Manor and discover it's haunted. There may be a murder because I'm a mystery buff, and there will DEFINITELY be plenty of snark and hijinks among the ghosts along with some Jay/Sam "our lives are insane but we wouldn't want it any other way" bonding moments.

So far I have exactly...*checks notes*...zero words of any of these stories written, but I'm committed to trying, so let's pretend that's what counts :)
