I am loving everyone's response to my post about visiting the "Ministry". (Link)

Gentle reminder: I am not sharing the location. It's not appropriate. Feel free to look it up on your own. And I recommend calling ahead and asking if you can visit. This is not gatekeeping. This is what folks have been doing who have visited this place.

This is a final resting place for loved ones. It's beautiful but it is a grave. During your visit there may be people there visiting the remains of their loved ones, or going through funeral planning with staff. They do filming here, they don't mind people stopping by to visit but it is first and foremost the final resting place of loved ones.

I visited the "Ministry" today. Took a few photos of my favorite details.

Some unique hallways (every hallway was different)

And my favorite stained glass windows

If you ever go, sign in at the front and be nice. We said to the office staff that we were in the area (going to the nearby botanical garden) love Ghost the band as well as stained glass. We walked around very quietly. We were the only ones there. Remember that this is the final resting place of someone's loved one. There were fairly recent additions so this continues to be an important site.

I really love that people in this fandom greatly appreciate fine art, history, and architecture.

The ghouls and what circus acts they would perform

Aerial Silks, Tightrope, Trapeze, Lyra: Cirrus, Cumulus, Aurora, and Zephyr. You know our air ghoulies thrive in the air. Daredevils the lot of them. Cirrus especially loves the sudden drops with silks that have the audience gasping. Cumulus practically dances on her tightrope. Aurora and Zephyr are pros with trapeze and lyra and will honestly just chill on their respective perches between acts. They all have costumes in various shades of blue.

Slack Rope/Trampoline: I feel like Swiss would have a blast quite literally bouncing around the stage. Loves doing backflips and spins in the air. Also a daredevil. Flashy purple and orange costume to show his elements (quintessence and fire)

Contortionists: Water ghouls are lithe and flexible so Rain and Mist would make great contortionists. Bending into pretzels till you can't tell where Rain ends and Mist begins. Identical iridescent fish scale patterned unitards.

Fire Jugglers: Our resident pyromaniacs Dewdrop, Sunshine, and Ifrit have a little too much fun seeing how many batons they can juggle without setting themselves, each other, or the stage on fire. Rain and Mist on standby with fire extinguishers. They're not in any real danger being fire ghouls/fire hybrids and all, but the audience doesn't have to know that. Black pants. The guys are shirtless and a cage bra for Sunny.

Strongman: This one's gotta go to our strong boi Mountain. His act includes deadlifting a beam that both Dew and Aurora are balanced on. Brown pants and sleeveless forest green vest (got to show off those muscles).

See-Saw: The quintessence bois. Aether, Phantom, Omega, and Swiss (since he's part quintessence). This act requires a lot of coordination because they have to time their jumps and swap out regularly so I feel like the shared element of quintessence would help them psychically communicate with each other and maintain a precise rhythm. Purple and black costumes.

Ringleader: Copia of course, complete with a fancy top hat. Make no mistake though. Just because he’s the ring leader doesn’t mean he has any control over his ghouls. It’s still like herding cats.

Note: I wrote this a while back before I better understood what ghouls were in what eras so don't mind me shoving three different eras together :)

Continuing with observations on Papa III…

What do we know about Terzo's personality? Special Ghoul described him as a nice and joyful person, but they "don't know him that well". Tobias characterized him as a frustrated old guy with "his wounds and his darkness". Tobias likes the multiple layers: he creates layered songs, layered albums and layered characters.

At one of his acoustic performances, Terzo said: "Speaking of having fun and having, you know, this is a song about maybe possibly not having. Not having everything at least. When the night is over, some of you might have someone to go home with and some of you might not have. That might not be a good thing but it can be a good thing if you are in the company of your spirits... that can keep your company in a dark hour." And at another: "This is a song about having and not having. Spirits to accompany lonely nights. In times of trouble father Roky (*Erickson) comes and speaks to me." This is a reference to the song "Let It Be" by Beatles. Here is the original text:

If you keep listening to this song, you will realize that it is very sad. And so is the person who quotes it. The one who says that in tough moments he finds solace in a musician who passed away long ago. That on lonely nights, ghosts are the only emotional support he can count on. Are they literally ghosts or are they memories of people he has lost?

It's generally accepted that Copia is the Main Sad Guy of the Ghost universe. He comes on stage and talks about depression. He has a sad face, lives with his mom, and has no friends. But what about the guy who comes on stage with a smile in his eyes to joke around and entertain the crowd? The guy who never complains, is always joyful and nice, ready to encourage you and hold your hand? The one who doesn't socialize with anyone in the band offstage, not even with the ghouls? Who knows all about having and not having and goes back to his lonely house to talk with his ghosts?
