‘No way. No fucking way…’
Natasha stared blankly at the man’s back, watching dumbfounded as none other than Steve Grant Rogers, the CEO of Shield Cyber Security, pick up the key to one of the suites of the hotel. He walked towards her with a smile on his face, and the key on his left hand.
“Shall we?” He asked and touched the small of her back, guiding her towards the elevators.

Saturday, 10:55 a.m.
Natasha woke up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and a headache.
“Good morning, sleeping beauty.” Wanda said as she opened the blinds.
Sunlight flooded the room and Natasha groaned, hiding under her comforter, in a failed attempt to stop the sun from hitting her eyes. Maybe those last few shots she had the night before hadn’t been such a great idea after all.
“Can I have five more minutes?” She tried asking.
“No, if you take too long, we’re going to be late. We have a busy day today.” Wanda said as she pulled the covers exposing Natasha to the cold morning air. “Now let’s go, you should have a shower before we leave, you smell like alcohol and cigarettes.”
Using all the strength and discipline she had in her, Natasha dragged herself out of bed, feeling the pounding in her head grow with every step she took.
Once in the bathroom, she opened the medicine cabinet and downed an aspirin before taking a shower. She chose to take a cold shower to better wake up. After the initial shock, she became accustomed to the feeling of the water on her skin and, as she washed her hair, she began to relax under the water.
After her shower and skincare routine she was feeling freshened again and the aspirin had done an amazing job at reducing her headache significantly. In her room, she chose to wear comfortable and practical clothes, light wash mom jeans and a black Metallica shirt paired with black Doc Marten boots and a black leather jacket, she glanced one last time at the mirror and went into the living room.
“Took you long enough,” her friend said with a smile. “I made coffee.”
“Thanks,” Natasha smiled and headed to the kitchen to get herself a cup of coffee.
She drank her coffee black, with little sugar and she liked it strong. She took in the scent of the drink before taking a sip. Since she’d taken her time getting ready, the coffee was just cool enough so she could drink it without burning her mouth.
“You’re definitely looking better,” Wanda commented as she walked into the kitchen. She too was drinking coffee. She had her own mug in Natasha’s place just for that.
“Thanks, I’m feeling a lot better as well. Maybe I should have listened to you when you told me to stop drinking so much after that third shot.” Natasha laughed softly and turned her back on Wanda so she could make herself some toast.
“See? Mixing beer and vodka is never a good idea,” Wanda said and took another sip from her coffee.
“Tell me about it,” she smiled, the remnants of the headache were slowly fading as she drank the coffee. Her mood was improving as well.
“Anyway, how are you feeling about what happened with Clint yesterday?” Wanda asked softly.
Natasha practically winced at the topic having been brought up, but she knew that was the question weighing between them. She did not feel like dealing with her feelings so early in the morning.
“Well,” Natasha started while she buttered her toast, “it wasn’t pleasant. And I’m definitely not feeling good about it, but I guess it was better than being straight up rejected right? At least now I know that he’s not interested.”
Her heart ached knowing that he didn’t have a romantic interest in her after pining after him for so many years. But then, there was no point in chasing someone who didn’t want anything with her.
“Nat, I know you’re probably tired of hearing this, but you’re a beautiful, smart and kind woman; there are so many men out there better looking than Clint and who would kill to be with you. Don’t tie yourself to someone who doesn’t want to be with you. It’s his loss.” Wanda said.
“Yeah, I’ll get over him. Eventually.” Natasha nibbled on her toast. Though she felt sad about the whole ordeal maybe it would be better that way. Clint was a good friend and the last thing she wanted was for their friendship to be ruined.
“Damn right you will,” Wanda said energetically, “now finish eating your toast. We have to leave in ten if we want to arrive in time at Okoye’s studio.”
“Are you sure I really have to do this?” She asked.
“Yes. You do.” Wanda answered.
“You must really hate those dates huh?” Natasha said as she drank the last of her coffee and grabbed her purse.
“Yup. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you about this, but that’s how my parents met.” Wanda said and started heading to the door.
“Nope, you’ve never talked about it.” Natasha replied as they went into the elevator.
“Well, they met through blind dates and married for convenience. He was the son of Maximoff Enterprises, and she was the eldest daughter of IM Group,” Wanda ran a hand through her hair. She stopped for a moment so she could look for her car keys in her purse.
“Anyway. They did not love each other in the least and only got along with each other for appearances and for my upbringing. As soon as I was old enough they got a divorce and that was it,” Wanda said, her eyes focused on the road ahead of her. “I don’t want to be stuck in a loveless marriage, Nat. I don’t want to go on those blind dates because my dad seems to think that I have some sort of ‘duty’ to fulfill towards the family.” She continued once they were inside the car.
Natasha listened quietly. Wanda was almost always cheerful and tried to keep a happy facade, it was rare that she would let down her walls and let herself be vulnerable. Even in front of someone as close to her as Natasha was.
“I want to find love on my own, I want to live a happy life and enjoy my youth and not be stuck in an unhappy marriage like my parents’.” Wanda finished. “I know that it must be boring to go on those blind dates and pretend to be me. You have no obligation to do that, whatsoever, but just know you’re helping me immensely by doing that.”
“It’s not as boring as you think.” Natasha laughed. “I get to meet some pretty interesting people. And I understand how you feel, I’m happy to help you.”
“Now, moving to something a little less sentimental,” Wanda said with a smile. Her walls were back up. “What are your plans to ruin this date?”
“Well, since we have no idea who this man, you’re meeting with is, I think we should play it safe,” Natasha mused, “considering most men from these kinds of families are rather conservative people, I thought of choosing some short clothes, maybe a skirt and a crop top. Something a little inappropriate for the place where we’ll be eating.”
“Good thinking.” Wanda nodded, “maybe some dark lipstick and sharp eyeliner to go with it.”
“And don’t forget the brown wig, so they don’t see my hair and see through the act.” Natasha added.
Wanda was quiet for a moment as she looked through the rear-view mirror and took a turn left before commenting, “see, that’s why I hate going on those blind dates. The men are so conservative and have their heads so far up their asses that they see normal clothes like a crop top or, I don’t know, edgier makeup, and they find it inappropriate. What’s wrong with them that they think they are better from everyone else?”
Natasha shook her head in agreement.
Wanda slowly brought the car to a stop and parked it near the commercial building where the office of Wanda’s personal stylist, Okoye, was located.
Luckily, they arrived just in time, the woman was very strict about punctuality and none of them wanted to be scolded by her that morning.
“Hi, Okoye!” Wanda hugged the woman.
“Wanda, Natasha! It is always nice to see you two!” She said in her strong voice.
“It’s awesome to see you to, Okoye,” Natasha said with a smile.
“Wanda has already texted me details for the outfits, so I have some picked out already.”
“Perfect.” Wanda nodded. “Let’s get started then, shall we?”
“Yes, please. Let’s get this over with,” Natasha said with a sigh and headed to the dressing rooms.
She tried on many outfits, each a different style, but they all seemed to be missing something. That was until she tried on a matching Chanel set. Natasha looked at her reflection wearing a short, white, tweed skirt with black detailing and golden buttons and matching tweed blazer. Underneath, she wore a black crop top and black Jimmy Choo scarpins with crystal embezzlements. She looked perfect.
“Yeah,” Natasha said as she exited the dressing room,” this is it.”
“Wow, you look amazing.” Wanda nodded in approval. “I just think the skirt could be a little shorter. What do you say? Okoye can make the alterations and have it delivered at my place before the date tonight.”
“Yes, I will have my assistant make the alterations.” Okoye told them and left the room to call for her assistant to take Natasha’s measurements.
Their shopping spree took a little longer than expected and it was already 3:30 p.m by the time they were finished. Both women were hungry, so they stopped for a quick lunch. Since Natasha was starting to feel a little nervous, she decided on only eating a salad. She always felt nervous did before those dates, no matter how many times she went on them. The thought of meeting those men pretending to be Wanda was scary.
It was unnerving and she always thought of the possibility that they would find out the decoy and tell Wanda’s dad. She also worried about other complications that might bring, as they were influential men, if one of them knew Tony Stark or even worse, Nick Fury, her career would be over, no one would ever hire her again.
After lunch, they headed to Wanda’s apartment, where the makeup artist and her hairstylist were waiting for them.
“So,” Wanda started while the makeup artist started working on Natasha’s face, “how are you feeling?”
“I’m a little nervous,” Natasha admitted, “but it’ll pass. It always does.”
Wanda let out a small chuckle, “I find it funny how speak of it as if you are used to doing this.”
“I mean,” Natasha laughed, “I kind of am. I’ve done this a couple of times.”
“You’re right.” Wanda nodded. “This will be the last time, though, I promise. Next time it will be you sitting here while you wait for me to get my makeup done.”
“Fair enough. I was worried we would stop spending our Saturday afternoons together.” Natasha said. “I like this, you know? Spending this time with you. I always wanted to do something like this when I was younger. I wanted girlfriends to go shopping with and it’s nice to have that, even if it’s to fill in for you for a date.”
“Don’t worry, our afternoons together won’t end. Hopefully my father with quit setting me up with people after this, so we’ll be able to hang out just for fun.” Wanda said.
It took some time, but Natasha’s makeup was finally done. She looked unrecognizable. The artist had admittedly done an extremely good job at contouring her face and making her look a lot like Wanda. Finally, it was time for the hairdresser to install the wig.
When they were done with her, she looked just like Wanda, with the long dark brown hair. Her eye makeup was dark, a black smokey look and her lipstick was of a light nude color. Soon after, her outfit arrived, and she was ready to go on the date.
*.*.*
Saturday, 7:40 p.m.
Natasha went alone to the hotel where they would have dinner since she didn’t want to risk her date seeing Wanda and figuring things out. Arriving late was the first phase of the plan. He would be annoyed when she got there and less likely to like her.
As Natasha walked through the classically decorated lobby, with marble accents and beautiful chandelier, she could tell all eyes were on her and couldn’t help but feel slightly out of place. She did her best to shake off the feeling and headed towards the elevators with a confident stride. Luckily, her ride to the third floor was uninterrupted.
The restaurant itself was also beautiful, with a slightly more modern decoration, yet classical at the same time. A soft ambient music played, and the lighting was dim, creating a rather comfortable and intimate atmosphere.
“Hello, madam, how may I help you?” The hostess greeted Natasha when she approached the entrance.
“I believe I’m expected at a table. I’m… Wanda Maximoff.” Natasha said, hoping her slight pause wouldn’t offset any suspicions and the woman didn’t seem to notice.
“Ah, yes, Miss Maximoff! Yes, I will take you to your table. Your date is already here.” The hostess said. “If you would please follow me.”
Natasha walked behind the woman and headed inside the restaurant. The soft sound of the chatted of the main hall started to fade as they reached a corridor with a series of doors.
‘Interesting,’ Natasha thought, ‘So he’s made a reservation for a private room.’
They stopped by one of the doors, which the hostess opened for her. “Please, enjoy your evening, Miss Maximoff.”
Before entering the room, Natasha looked down and took a deep breath to calm her nerves. Having collected herself, she put on her best smile and walked inside. The door closed behind her with a soft click.
“Good evening, Miss Maximoff. I’m Steve.” The man already sitting at the table introduced himself. He stood up to greet her. “May I call you Wanda?”
Natasha felt her heart skip a bit. That man was extremely handsome, unlike most of Wanda’s other dates. He had short, blond hair, a closely shaven beard and piercing blue eyes, which seemed to look right through her. She didn’t know what she was expecting, but it was definitely not that Greek statue of a man.
“Hi, Steve,” She said with a smile, and then added with her best seductive voice, “of course you can call me Wanda. You can call me whatever you like.”
She watched as he widened his eyes in surprise, an almost imperceptible expression of shock which he was quick to hide before he walked around the table and pulled out the chair for her.
“Please, have a seat.” He motioned.
“Thank you,” Natasha said and proceeded to walk towards the chair, swaying her hips in an almost obscene manner before sitting.
Her eyes observed his every move, he was truly a specimen of a man, he was tall and muscular, with broad shoulders, which were accentuated by his outfit of choice: black pants and a matching vest with a light blue shirt underneath, no necktie, all pieces were tailored to perfection. That would be a date she would hate to ruin. But she had to do what was expected of her.
“I’m sorry I was late, I had a prior… engagement, which ended up taking a lot longer than expected.”
“Don’t worry about it,” he replied, Natasha could tell that her being so late annoyed him, though he tried to sound calm and collected about it, “I took the liberty of ordering some wine, as well the main dishes. I understand you like fish?”
“Why, yes, I do,” Natasha replied and raised an eyebrow, though she didn’t particularly like the dish, it was one of Wanda’s favorite foods. “I see you did your homework.”
“I’m never unprepared,” Steve said with a smile.
Soon, from the back of the room a waiter entered with their wine to serve them. Natasha was quick to pick up her glass as soon as the waiter left and took a rather large sip of the drink. The warmth spread through her body.
Natasha put the glass down on the table, already feeling more confident.
“It’s rather warm here, don’t you think?” She asked as she took off her jacket, revealing the black crop top underneath. The cleavage was just low enough that his eyes were drawn to it for a mere second before he looked back up at her again.
“Uh, yes, it is.” He agreed and drank some wine.
‘Okay, time to kick it up a notch.’ Natasha thought and extended her leg under the table, hoping her shoe would graze up against his leg. She ended up kicking the leg of the table instead, making a loud noise echo through the room.
Thinking quickly, she pushed out her chair.
“Oh no! My beautiful babies!” She exclaimed as she pretended to look for scratches on her shoes, “I just bought them!”
She put on her best pouty face, cringing internally at the things she was being forced to do. before she looked back up at him, hoping to see Steve’s reaction. No man liked a girl who treated material possessions like that. Instead, she found him looking at his phone.
Natasha was dumbfounded.
“What are you doing, Steve?” She whined.
“What were you saying?” Steve asked as he put his phone back down on the table, “I’m sorry, I got a work related text.”
‘Yeah, this won’t do, I have to try harder.’
“I was just saying how we’re feeling sad…” She placed her hands on the table, “I mean, do you know just how much I spent on this outfit? Just for you to clearly not be interested in me.”
“What?”
“Jennifer and Rachel aren’t enjoying this either.” Natasha said and crossed her arms.
“I’m sorry, who are Jennifer and Rachel?” He asked.
Natasha uncrossed her arms and leaned forward, giving him a chance to full on stare at her cleavage.
“The left one is Jennifer, and the right one is Rachel,” She shimmied her chest and looked at him through her lashes, “I spent a whopping 15 thousand euros on these babies.”
‘This will definitely get him.’
Steve choked on his wine and looked away, seemingly mortified, to which Natasha chuckled.
“I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable, Steve, sometimes I can get a little too silly, especially when drinking wine.” She commented.
She took a sip from her wine and watched as he recomposed himself. Yeah, that was definitely the right move.
“No, I’m the one who’s sorry, Wanda,” Steve said with a kind smile, “I shouldn’t have reacted this way. There’s a lot of hypocrisy in our society, though we’ve come a long way. To meet a woman like you, who is so straightforward about these things is a very welcome novelty.”
It was her turn to freeze. That was not the reaction she was expecting at all.
Hopefully, their food arrived just in time to break up the conversation, giving Natasha some time to think about her next move. Clearly, the act she was putting forward wasn’t working, so it was time to bring out the big guns. She would do that after the food though, it wasn’t often she got to have such an expensive meal and the fish did look really appetizing.
“Well, Steve,” She resumed the conversation, “I can tell that you like me then. I see my first impression was wrong.”
“As far as my first night out in Berlin goes, I can say that your company is quite… interesting.” He answered with a smile.
“I’m glad you’re enjoying yourself,” Natasha said.
“Oh, you have no idea. I hope you’re having as much fun as I am.”
“You said it was your first night out in Berlin, I take it you’re not from here then.” Natasha asked, letting her curiosity get the best of her, “your German is very good though, I don’t hear an accent.”
“Oh, I’m from Berlin, born and raised. I’ve just been away for some time. I just got back from Shanghai, arrived yesterday” he answered, “your German is very good as well, Wanda. You’re from Sokovia, right?”
“Yes, I am, but I’ve lived in Berlin since I was a child. We mostly go there to meet with relatives and whatnot. But my life is all here.” Natasha said and finished her glass of wine, bracing herself for the final blow.
But the alcohol wasn’t enough to make the nervousness completely go away, and she found herself tapping her foot on the ground, trying to make the tension go away
“Tell me, Steve,” She leaned forward again and bit her lip, “why don’t we continue this conversation somewhere else?”
“Yes, of course, where do you want to go?” He agreed.
“Should we… get a room?” She asked and winked at him, “I think we’ll be able to discuss business more comfortably upstairs.”
Natasha held his gaze expecting he would end that date once and for all. Instead, she found his eyes going down her body and felt a soft blush creeping up her cheeks. There was no way he would agree to that. Right…?
“I really like your idea, Wanda. We’ll have a lot more privacy…” He agreed to her request.
It was as if the room went silent. All Natasha could hear was the blood pumping on her ears as her heartbeat quickened. There was no way that man had just agreed to get them a room. And then what? What would she do? Have sex with him? Oh no, that couldn’t be happening.
She only snapped back to reality when she heard Steve’s voice.
“Shall we?” he asked.
“Y-yes.” She stuttered and stood up from the chair, struggling to put her jacket back on.
All the way from the private dining room to the exit of the restaurant, Steve had his hand on the small of her back, guiding her through the tables as if he could sense that she was in shock. The one time she glanced up at him, he had a small smile on his lips, as if he was finding the whole situation extremely amusing.
“Thank you, for visiting, Mr. Rogers. Come back soon.” The concierge greeted as they exited the restaurant and headed for the elevators.
It was only then that the realization hit her. That man, whose name was Steve and who had recently come back from Shanghai was none other than THE Steve Rogers, the CEO of her company.
‘Fuck.’ She thought.
“Uh, Steve,” she said as they waited for the elevators, “You’re Steve Rogers, right? From Shield Cyber Security?”
“Miss Maximoff, are you really about to go upstairs to a room with a man whose occupation you don’t know? I could be a serial killer, for all you know.” He teased. “But yes, that’s me. Steve Grant Rogers.”
‘Shit.’
As if the evening couldn’t get any worse, she was about to go to a hotel room with none other than her boss.
When they got to the lobby, she waited for him to deal with the receptionist from a distance, trying to deal with the despair building up inside. Her and Wanda had only planned up until asking him to get a room, expecting him to refuse the request, of course he would, why would the heir of some big conglomerate agree to just have sex with Wanda Maximoff, the heiress of Maximoff Enterprises.
Natasha knew how those men worked; she’d seen it happen so many times. They wanted trophy wives from respectable families to have a couple of children with and maintain their impeccable image all while having sex with other women on the side. There was no way those men would agree to that sort of request. Especially considering their old fashion notions of ‘honor’ and ‘tradition’. Unless that man was Steve Rogers, apparently.
Natasha did impossible calculations, trying to figure out what her next step would be as she watched Steve walk towards her with the keycard for the room on his hand.
“Shall we?” He asked, and, just as he had before, placed his hand on the small of her back, leading her towards the elevators.
“Okay,” she nodded with a nervous smile.
Just as they were reaching the elevators, a woman bumped hard into Natasha.
“I’m so sorry, ma’am.” Natasha said and looked forward and continued walking when she felt a hard yank on her hair.
“And where do you think you’re going, skank?” The woman asked in an angry tone.
“What the… What are you doing?” Natasha could no longer do anything but thank the glue of the wig for being so strong, else her cover would have been blown right then and there.
“Nice try, bitch. You have no idea who I am?” The woman said.
“Wait, let go of me first. I don’t know who you are.” Natasha tried to explain and make the woman let go of the wig.
“Right, play dumb all you want. I’m Anthony’s girlfriend.” She said.
Just as she was about to tug on the wig again, Steve grabbed the woman’s arm, making her loosen her grip.
“What’s going on here?” He asked and the woman let go of Natasha’s hair and took a step back.
“You were up in a room not so long ago with Anthony and now you’re with this guy?” The woman asked, “And who’s this guy? Your next victim?”
Natasha looked up at Steve’s face. He was clearly bothered by the scene the woman was causing in front of everyone at the hotel lobby. Her cheeks burned red.
“What are you talking about. I don’t even know anyone named Anthony!” Natasha defended herself.
The woman reached into her purse and pulled out her phone. She showed Steve and Natasha a photo of someone wearing almost the same clothes as Natasha and with long, brown hair, going into the elevator with some man – presumably Anthony.
“Uh, yeah, we do look alike, but these clothes are a common look. You got the wrong person.”
“You think I care about what you say? You whore.” The woman spat those words and raised her hand, clearly intending to slap Natasha, but Steve caught her arm before she could do so.
“Look, lady, you and your boyfriend have some talking to do. The one who was cheating was clearly him and you don’t even know this woman. Go get your boyfriend under control and fix that relationship of yours. I don’t really care what you do, just leave us alone.” Steve said. “Let’s go, Wanda.”
He didn’t wait for a reply before turning their back on them and heading for the exit, the mood was clearly ruined. Natasha followed suit, silently thanking all the deities she could think of for getting her out of that situation.
Outside the hotel, she could hear Steve talking on the phone.
“Hi, Bucky. Can you come pick us up.” There was a pause, “Yeah, we’re just outside the hotel. Thanks.”
Deciding to take that opportunity to end that date on the worst – or best – possible note, Natasha approached him.
“Look, Steve, thanks for defending me,” she said, “but you don’t know the full story, I was actually the one in the picture with the man. And I was also aware that he had a girlfriend. I often do that, you know? Go out with married men, sometimes I go out with two or even three of them at a time.”
“Oh, you do?” Steve raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah. What can I do? I like men. Sometimes I can barely control myself,” Natasha lied, “well, looks like the wine’s talking again.”
Steve chuckled.
“Anyway, Steve, thanks for the amazing evening, but I’m going to head home now before that crazy woman comes after me.” Natasha said and walked away before he could reply.
She practically sprinted towards the cabs waiting outside of the hotel, hoping to get out of that place as soon as possible.
The ride back home was uneventful and after she was sure to be far away from the hotel, she could finally relax. Natasha took a deep breath and rested her head against the window trying to think. Although Steve’s reactions were different than what she’d expected, she felt like she’d done a good job scaring him away enough so that he wouldn’t want a second date, especially after that last trick she’d pulled.
Finally home, Natasha felt relief wash over her when she took off her high heels, makeup and wig and was able to put on comfortable clothes. She made herself a cup of tea and sat down on the couch, finally able to begin to process the evening and just how much of a mess it had been. Not that the other dates hadn’t been messy, but more so that Steve Rogers wasn’t the kind of man she was used to dealing with.
Most of the time, Natasha was able to read through people and predict their reactions, only that hadn’t been the case that evening, quite the contrary Steve had reacted in all the ways she didn’t expect some rich conglomerate son to react. She picked up her phone and called Wanda to report on the evening.
“Hey! How was the date?” Her friend asked when she picked up the phone.
“It was a handful to say the least,” Natasha sighed and set down her mug on the center table, “The date was Steve Rogers.”
“Hold on, what? Steve Rogers? As in your boss?”
“Yup, that’s the one.” Natasha ran her free hand through her hair. “I just hope it won’t affect my job. What if he recognizes me or runs into me at work?”
“Relax, Nat, he won’t. You were wearing a wig and heavy makeup, you looked like a totally different person,” Wanda reassured her, “and even then, you most likely won’t run into him since he’s the CEO. He won’t just hang around you.”
“Yeah…I guess you’re right. It’s just so unnerving you know?”
“I bet it is. But it’s all going to be okay.” Wanda said before asking, “Anyway, how did the date go? You scared him away?”
“In that aspect I think it went well, he’s crazy if he wants a second date after all the tricks I pulled.” Natasha laughed, pushing her worried to the back of her head.
“Perfect! I just hope my dad will leave me alone this time and not schedule anymore blind dates with random men.”
“I hope so too.” Natasha chuckled.
“Well, I’ll let you rest then. Thank you so much for helping me, Nat.” Wanda said, “Let me know if you want to do anything tomorrow.”
“Will do.” Natasha said, “bye!”
*.*.*
Sunday, 10:18 a.m.
Natasha woke up to the sound of her phone ringing. She looked at the caller, it was Wanda.
“Hey, Wanda, what’s up?” She picked up the phone with a groan.
“Nat. Just what exactly did you do on that date yesterday?” Wanda sounded panicked.
“Well, I ruined the date, just like you asked me to.” Natasha sat upright on the bed, feeling her heart race. “Why?”
“Natasha, Steve Rogers just called my dad. He wants to marry me.”
“WHAT?!” Natasha gasped.

Tumblr media
“You promised that the last blind date would be the last time I helped you out with this…”
Natasha Romanoff is one of the best employees of Shield Cyber Security’s Berlin office. After three years of working in the company, she was finally nominated for an award that could skyrocket her career. However, with her personal laptop broken and having no money to buy a new one, her productivity decreased a lot, risking her chance of finally getting the promotion she worked so hard for.
Luckily, Wanda Maximoff, one of her closest friends makes her a proposal she is unable to decline. All Natasha has to do is fill in her for her friend on one last blind date and completely ruin it. With no other options, Natasha takes the offer and finds herself in a bigger mess than she could have ever imagined. Her date is none other than Steve Rogers, the CEO of her company.
HEAVILY BASED ON THE K-DRAMA BUSINESS PROPOSAL.
