during darcy’s second proposal he keeps hesitating waiting for lizzy to interrupt him like she has done every time before but she doesn’t say anything until he’s finished

at the end mary sits down at the piano and right where she’d usually be interrupted, kitty joins her and harmonises

 jane and bingley have the adorable upbeat romantic duet which is just them being super polite like ‘oh so nice to have you here’ ‘so nice to be here’ interspersed with their inner monologue which is just them being like fucking jesus I’m so in love

So we got an Amazon Echo and we changed the wake word to “Computer” and now I feel like I’m on the Enterprise all the time. Additionally, whenever I watch Star Trek, she only responds to “computer” when Data says it and it’s kind of adorable. Not Picard, not La Forge, not Troi, not Dr. Crusher, not Riker. Not anyone but Data. The other night Data asked his Computer what the time was and my Computer told him it was 10:47. Watching Star Trek is even more fun now

Get to know me meme (1/???): A character you love that you think no one else does --> Empress Modina Novronian (Thrace Wood) from The Riyria Revelations

I adore this series, and Thrace/Modina is easily my favorite character, her entire story is so incredible! She's introduced as an actual ball of sunshine, she hugs one of the most dangerous men in the world and he just lets her. She's also a badass, being the only person brave enough to leave her town to find someone to save it from an unkillable monster. She's a peasant but still clever, and smart enough to save up for her own dowry. And at the end, she is the one to kill the monster and is proclaimed divine empress.

My favorite thing is she's just so capable. She survives a horrible depression, loses her family, and just decides "the entire empire is my family now and you can pry it from my cold, dead hands." She upends a thousand(s) year old conspiracy and takes complete power. She allows herself to be called a demigod, and have her citizens worship her as if it were her due. The two times the heroes decide they should try to save her, she saves herself. Royce nearly kills her and she just goes "nbd, I know exactly what to do." She adopts a half-elven girl and names her as her heir despite knowing that her followers are deeply racist and this could cause unrest and everybody just accepts it. She rules with a gentle fist; completely and unapologetically, but with mercy and kindness.

Did I mention she was eighteen/nineteen throughout all this?

Despite all this awesomeness, I have NEVER seen a single Thrace/Modina post anywhere. I was so disappointed to find out the fandom doesn't love her like I do. But you'd best believe I'll be gushing over this character until my dying day!
