The music in the bar was louder than your ears could handle but at this point you didn’t care.

You wanted to go back to the Sunny as soon as possible.

Everyone wanted to go out to eat and drink but you were just not in the mood. You sat at the bar slowly sipping your drink while watching Usopp and Franky dance. You'd normally be dancing with them, but you just weren’t feeling it today. Maybe it was the fact that it was Valentine’s day and EVERYONE in the bar seemed to have a date…except you.

You were wallowing in your own self pity till two big tan hands were placed on your shoulders.

“Come with me,” a deep, husky, slightly slurred voice whispered in your ear. Before you could protest the voice in question, who you assumed to be Zoro, lifted you off your seat and slung you over his shoulder.

You tried to get him to put you down and kept asking where you were going, but he only grunted in reply.

He dragged you across the bar and plopped you in front of a few guys. You assumed they worked at the bar since they all were wearing similar uniforms.

“Here they are, my date for the night.”

HIS WHATTTT WHAT DID HE SAY HE SAID YOU WERE HIS WHAT HELLOOOOOOO

You, understandably, looked SHOCKED at his statement which got some questioning looks from the workers.

“You gotta prove it,” one of the workers said.

“What??? Why do I gotta do that?” Zoro questioned angrily.

“Come on if you guys are really a couple it shouldn’t be a problem.”

“Okay what is going on??” You asked, confused on WHY ZORO OF ALL PEOPLE is declaring that you are a couple.

Zoro got close to your ear and whispered. “Just play along,” before pulling you into the deepest sloppiest most messy kiss of your life. He tasted like sake and salt, but you didn’t really notice because you were busy freaking out that ZORO WAS KISSING YOU????

“Fine fine here you go enjoy,” the workers handed Zoro a big jug of sake and walked away.

Zoro had a big triumphant grin on his face while you were frozen in shock.

When you finally broke out of your shocked form you freaked out.

“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT???”

“They said that couples get a free jug of sake as a Valentine’s day special.”

“SO YOU KISSED ME????”

“I HAD TO PROVE IT SOMEHOW!!”

The night ended with you and Zoro sharing the sake you earned and you feeling a little happy that of all the people in the bar, he picked you to be his fake date.

You didn't even realize you were crying until you felt the tears begin to stain your shirt. You could hear your crewmates fighting with the marines. While at the last island, you had been captured by the marines, and for almost 2 months you were in their custody. You had almost lost hope that your friends wouldn't save you...lost hope that you would never see Robin again...but when you heard Luffy's loud yelling from outside your cell you knew you were safe.

You sat there on the floor of your cell, crying tears of joy, when you felt something....tapping your shoulder??? You turned and saw an arm coming out from the ground next to you. Robin. She was here. She was really here. The hand pointed towards the door as another appeared, holding a key. You took the key and opened the door to your cell. A path of hands appeared in front of you, leading you to safety.

You followed the hands and ran through the base till you reached the outside. It seemed as if the battle had ended, the marines were all laying unconscious on the floor while your crew stood in the distance. You called out to them and ran towards them, tears pouring from your eyes. You expected the first person to run towards you would be Luffy or Chopper, but when you looked up you saw Robin running straight at you.

As soon as you were close enough you fell into her arms, knowing she'd catch you. She pulled you into a tight embrace and held you close.

You both stayed silent for sometime, taking in each other's presence. After awhile, you heard a faint whisper leave Robin's lips.

"I missed you...so much..."

"Everyone get to your stations!"

Your fellow marines rushed to their places on the ship. Some ran to the canons while others jumped off the deck ready to engage in battle. Your fleet was preparing for one of the biggest battles you've ever been apart of and you weren't scared.....totally.

Now you were seen as a pretty tough marine in your comrades' eyes. You were never scared in battle and always knew the perfect strategy to succeed. Some could honestly mistake you for captain, but that role belonged to no other than Captain Koby.

Koby was calculated and kind, always coming up with a plan before charging into action. You knew that under his command you and your fleet couldn’t loose….but you were still terrified. These pirates were like nothing you’ve seen before and you had no clue about how you could even face them. You watched in horror as the marines around you were struck down.

Just then one of the pirates jumped on deck and charged after you. You were frozen, too scared to move. You closed your eyes, hoping the pain wouldn’t be too much, but that pain never came.

When you opened your eyes, you saw Koby guarding you from the pirates attack. He kicked the pirate back and grabbed your wrist. You both ran until you were at a part of the ship where no pirates were.

“Are you okay?” Koby questioned as he searched your body for injury, “It’s not like you to freeze up like that during a battle.”

“It’s just,” you didn’t even realize tears began to form, “These pirates…they’re nothing like we’ve seen before…wh-what if..”

Koby grabbed your shoulders, “So what if these pirates are stronger, that doesn’t mean we can’t fight back!”

As inspiring as his words were they barely helped you as you continued to shake and cry. Then you felt a strange feeling on your hand. You looked down to see Koby’s hand holding yours.”

“Hold my hand,” Koby said, a sweet smile on his face, “That way I can protect you.”

You looked down at your hands intwined and nodded at him. He lead you back into the deck where the battle raged on.

“Turn the ship and fire east..” Koby began to bark out orders and relay his plan to the rest of the fleet, all while holding your hand. You watched as your fleet slowly started to get back on their feet, and soon overtook the pirates. Everyone cheered as the pirates were put into the cells at the bottom of your ship. A big celebration was in order, but you noticed through all the commotion Koby didn’t let you once.

“Um..captain..”

Koby turned to you, “Yes? What’s wrong?”

“You don’t have to hold my hand anymore..we won..”

Koby looked down at your intertwined hands, his face turning red and backing away.

“I’M SO SORRY I DIDN’T MEAN TO MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE I..”

You cut him off by wrapping your hand back around his.

“Let’s go celebrate now!” You said while giving his hand a light squeeze.

“Yeah..let’s go,” he said squeezing back as you walked to the celebration.
