Different character: I have no interest in romance or sex. I don't understand it. Relationships confuse me. They seem pointless to me. I have no desire to be in a romantic or sexual relationship. I am an aromantic asexual.

Do you ever come across a ‘character x reader’ story that has a character you actually like, but you’re the opposite gender of what the reader is portrayed as so the story is straight but you’re gay/lesbian/etc. and it just loses your interest and you give up trying to find a good story that matches how you are/what you prefer,

or is that just me being picky?

Legit I just want to find a trans!masc!reader x male character or even male!reader. I want gay x gay or smth to quench my thirst for guy characters to love me even if they’re fictional

Part 2 of underrate characters I fucking love

Gobber from HTTYD

Holy fuck he’s funny. Ain’t no way you gonna tell me he’s not funny. I’m sorry but he’s uncle material. He’s like a second dad to Hiccup, and I’m not even joking but when I found out he was Dreamworks’s first canon gay character, I just favoured him even more.

HTTYD 2 spoilers

Apparently he was supposed to be the one to die instead of Stoick, but Guillermo Del Toro came in and was like “now hold up, let’s make a more upsetting death”

As much as I loved Stoick and was definitely upset with his death, I would have cried rivers if Gobber died. Like, stop. 😭

All over all, Gobber is fucking awesome. He’d probably listen to Poor Man’s Poison (country music artist) and I love that headcanon I found.

He was legit so funny in RttE, HTTYD 1, 2 and I can only assume he’s funny in the films after those. If I ever met him in real life, I’d hug him. Wouldn’t care about the circumstances or consequences, I’d hug him. He deserved more screen time.

Kanjigar from Trollhunters/Tales of Arcadia is father figure material. Period. I know that he pushed Draal away while holding the Trollhunter mantle, but he did it to protect him and he genuinely did not want to lose him. Dawg, he wanted to be in Draal’s life, but he did not want to risk it.

That’s good father material (but he probably could’ve maintained their relationship better admittedly).
