Another day I found your perfume in the store...
Head spinning for days of your taste. I have never felt so insignificant in somebodys undivided attention. As an angel had come down to give me a message and only now I knew what I really am and also what I am not. Already before I have even got to know you my world is turned upside down and I had never truly believed that I would actually love hanging there as a bat.  But bats and angels fly away and the scent is all that’s left.

“Marlene’s freewheeling attitude to sex has been much analysed since her death, particularly by her daughter Maria, who wrote a tell-all book about Marlene in the grand tradition of Christina Crawford’s Mommie Dearest – only Maria’s effort was dubbed Mommie Queerest. Maria revealed that Marlene used sex as a kind of weapon in her affairs with men – she didn’t actually care much for “it”. It was a way of controlling and manipulating them. With women it was different. Marlene actually enjoyed the sex, and the relationships were much more satisfying for her. Edith Piaf, Mercedes de Acosta (who also wooed and won Greta Garbo), Rosemary Clooney, the German singer Hildegard Knef and many others shared nights of passion with Dietrich.
To call Marlene ‘lesbian’ would be to misrepresent her sexuality. To call her bisexual would also not be adequate. Perhaps ‘queer’ describes her best or simply, as one commentator said, ‘unstraight’. She made love to those she was attracted to at any particular time in her life, their gender was immaterial. This is extraordinary, given that most of her career was built on being the ultimate fetish object for straight men. The film critic Kenneth Tynan defined this bisexual appeal when he said, 'she has sex without gender.’“

“Marlene Dietriсh knew her own style and took risks and wore pants when people said it wasn’t glamorous and was a terrible thing for a woman to do. She had a signature style. Greta Garbo, too. They embraced their own cliché and their persona, and I love that. Women love to dress up now, but I feel like there aren’t a lot of risk-takers.”
- Dita Von Teese

Blue light late night in a park. A palace in a yellow light. Suddenly the solders by the front door started to march and he told me tht  they will arrest us. “They’ll shoot us down!” I knew it is not true but I still felt some adrenaline in my veins and laughed even harder. And he held my shoulders for just a second. Here we go...I felt this feeling in my stomach again... suddenly his smell turned sweet and his gaze made me act so childlish.  Oh, I know that way too well. And the hurt it brings in the end. But truth is that I can’t do a thing. I can’t know the outcome. Those brown eyes were set on my path and only God knows if it is meant to be a painful lesson or a sweet gift. I have no choice but to trust and take it as it is.

Definition of self-discipline
The wall between dreaming and living your life is fear. The bridge between those two things is action. This monster on the bridge is fear. Do not wait for him to leave. Take action. 3, 2, 1... It might make you nauseous but belive me, walking just through it is not as bad as staying on this side of this bridge. Embrace the nausea.

Think of two words and rate them according to how they are viewed in your own culture: 1. Compassion
2. Rationality No society that sees the second as more importaint than the first can be fair.  And only the wise will realise that a compassion is a key to a rational society.
