Ive been super stressed with school & exams so this day was WELL needed. I loved going out to enjoy the farm with my wonderland friends!! I’ve been going through a lot so I’m super grateful for my friends that are so supportive, loving, and encouraging. Find yourself friends that provide unconditional love, those are the BEST kind of friends.

CHICK-FIL-A 

It happened. I went to Chick-Fil-A in toronto. I only had Chick-Fil-A once in the states and that was literally 3 months before the one in Toronto opened up. I lined up for a good 20 mins, and then another 10 mins waiting for the food. Its located on Yonge & Bloor, just a 2 min walk from the Subway. It is 100% better when you just get it, and its still nice and hot, but I had to lugg all of this home to share with my family, so my Chick-Fil-A food experience was not up to my expectations, given that I was eating cold food by the time I got home. Like everything else that come from the US to Canada, Chick-Fil-A was more on the pricey side of life. I got the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, 12 nuggets, and Large Waffle Fries. You’re able to pick dipping sauces with every entree that you order, so I ordered the Chick-Fil-A sauce , BBQ, Honey Mustard, and Buffalo. The Chick-Fil-A sauce was the best with the sandwich, and I love my BBQ/Buffalo Chicken so that was my go to choice for dipping my nuggets. the waffle fries were BOMB, but I’m also just a potato lover so that could be very biased.

I literally SCREAMED for the Jo Bros.

Nostalgia hit so hard, and this was by far the BEST concert I’ve been to. It was hard finding friends who would be willing to spend the money on concert tickets for the Jo Bros but I found a pack to go with!! I’ll be reliving this concert through all my videos of the concert while trying to tune out my screaming and singing.

It’s always a good time when you have brunch with close friends!! 

I went to Restoration Hardware’s Cafe - Courtyard Cafe in Yorkdale with some of my close friends for my birthday this year. Take in, my birthday was in September and I’m only posting about it now.....oops. Anyways, I love going here because of the aesthetics of the environment, and also because the food is pretty good and portioned decently. It is one of the more expensive restaurants, as you would expect from any restaurant in Yorkdale. I got a Latte with a pump of vanilla syrup and almond milk which was SOO good. I need me a cup of coffee before I start the day or else you probs wouldn’t want to be around me. Next my friends and I got the proccuito and cheese board to share. They gave us some aged parmesan cheese, and it was DELICIOUS. I think after this specific day, I was always craving cheese and cold cuts to make my own cheese board. For my main, my friend and I shared the Smoked Salmon which was pretty good, and filling surprisingly!

Starving Artist!!

I came here for my best friends birthday! It’s been pretty popular in Toronto, and they opened up more locations in the GTA so I just HAD to bring her. This place was really aesthetically pleasing! The food was great and so was the environment. We had the waffle benny, and the breakfast benny. My friend really liked the potato waffles, while I preferred the regular waffles. I’m a person who likes to separate my salty from sweet, so keeping the waffles and the sweetness all together was my fave. I did not like the sweet taste on my potato waffles. the potato waffles btw are basically kind of like potato lahkas. was VERY good, would highly recommend trying this place.

WOW! what a book!! 

I really enjoyed reading this book! I didn’t it to end! I finished this book in 24 hrs and I could NOT put it down. I really loved Christina Laurens most recent book “the Unhoneymooners” so I thought I’d give her new book a try. I waited for this book since maybe August, and when the day came I was lucky enough that Indigo was having their friends & family event! The story of Tate and Sam really made me believe in love at first sight, and it gives you a hopeful feeling for meeting the right one. It’s the moment that when you know, YOU KNOW. I really wished she added an epilogue of what Sam and Tate go through years later but with all good books, there has to be an end. Even if she wrote an epilogue for the book I probs wouldn’t be satisfied!!! I became so emotionally invested in the characters that I actually was ENVIOUS of their lives!!! I really hope I get that experience “You were meant for me “ moment.

Body Lotion RAVE

Sympathy for the Skin is an AMAZING body lotion. I use this everyday after I exfoliate with a body exfoliating bar from Lush called Scrubee, and let me tell you, THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. Legit, I’ve never felt my skin so soft, even my elbows are SUPER soft. The great thing about it is that it remains soft! Even when im at the gym sweating my life away, the moisture from the lotion doesnt leave my skin! I’ve also seen a difference with some of my stretch marks! But the secret to visibility of stretch marks is just to exfoliate and moisturize. I really love Lush products purely because of how natural the ingredients are, and how good the products smell! Since this is also a hand lotion, I bought a little empty bottle from Miniso and filled it with the lotion to put in my car. It’s a really lightweight lotion, and it doesnt leave the oily or sticky residue that I find in a lot of body butters & lotions. Here’s a little fun fact: This lotion has Bananas in it which is often used for its highly moisturizing, softening, and thickening features. It’s made with cocoa butter, and almond oil to moisturize skin. It also has loads of vanilla which adds to the creamy scent and contirubtes to soothing skin! For the price it is really worth it. At the time I thought it was really steep for a body lotion, but I was lucky enough to have a sales associate give me a HUGE sample of the lotion and I think its 100% worth it. I’ve had it for about a month now and I’m only ¼ through the tub. Given that I use this lotion everyday, and for my entire body. I’ve tried other lotions at Lush such as dream cream, and charity pot but it never satisfied my requirements. I would reccommend this product but everyone’s skin is different! Just because it worked for me doesnt mean it’ll work for you. If you get the chance you should ask for a sample in store and try it out for a week!

The One Fusion Cusine

I’ve been craving for some good dim sum for a bit now. We ordered about 10 dishes and was able to take a lot of it home since it was only my mom and I eating. My favourite things to eat at Dim Sum is the Siu Mai, Egg Yolk Bun, and the Milk Tarts!! Not gonna lie I’m really picky with my dimsum and this place was good! With 10 dishes the bill came to $77 after tax & a 10% discount because we paid in cash. It had a good location, easy to find parking, ambience was very nice & fancy. I found the food to be a bit on the saltier side but I have a very sensitive palette so it could just be me! I thouvht the menu was a little small compared to other dimsum places I’ve been to, I didnt find everything that I wanted to eat but they had dishes that were more extravagent than the basic dimsum dishes I usually go for. The service was good, and they often changed our plates when it got filled with bones & what not, which I really appreciated! Tea was good, and overall my craving was satisfied

The PERFECT duo! I LOVE this part of my morning and night time routine! Mint Julips is the most amazing, easy, and TASTY lip scrub I’ve ever used!! When I was at lush picking lipscrub flavours and I was torn between Lip Julips or Cookie Dough, the sales associate told me to go with my gut and I’m glad I chose right. It’s really simple to use, just tap a little bit onto your finger and scrub it onto your lips, then just lick the excess away. YA YOU HEARD ME, LICK THE EXCESS AWAY because it’s completely safe to eat, & it leaves you with a protective coating of jojoba oil on your lips! Honey Trap is a really great & moisturizing lip balm. It really moisturizes my lips first thing in the morning, and for the whole night while I sleep. I’m SO obsessed with this lip balm I got another one in the Rose Lollipop flavour to keep in my bag. The great thing about this is that a little goes a LONG way, and it doesnt leave you with the sticky, really waxy kind of feeling.
