i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

I don't know if you've ever mentioned this, but what was your inspiration for Woodland Paths because I will totally admit that I am slightly obsessed with it.

Me: *tries to think about beginnings of Woodland Paths*

Honestly it's kinda a blur. I was reading some other bnha fae au and didn't feel satisfied with it and then I thought hey maybe I can write a one shot. And I started reading about like fae folklore and stuff and started picking what from there I want to use. I also started thinking 'hey stories like that are all told from human perspectives maybe I can think about what it would look like from fae's perspective' and then shit happened

I cannot even remember why I decided to make it dadmight. I wasn't even a huge dadmight fan?? Why did I decide to write this fic??

I know it was supposed to be a one-shot but then I went with family on vacation and had lots of time to actually relax and think and I somehow wrote a full fanfic plan with over 40 chapters in a few days and once I had the plan, writing it was almost easy lmao it just took a few months

So yeah my less-than-perfect memory is not super helpful here but there you go

btw with art when people say 'youve got to do it scared' 'youve got to draw bad' 'youre not gonna know how to do it until you do it' it sounds like bullshit but its true. 90% of art is just getting over the fear that it's not going to be good enough to deserve to be made in the first place. but you're here. you're alive and, with no need to justify that, you're going to make art. it's just part of being alive. you'll spend so long worrying you aren't doing it good enough that you'll look back and realized you didn't live a single day of it.

a little drawing of one of one of our first dnd sessions and a lovely conversation our characters had with Venomfang :3

(took some liberties regarding green dragon's design since i am not necessarily a fan of the official one)

the harengon is keo, my character, the other two are rojtar (the wolf) and oreo (the tiny one, mothfolk), both homebrew races. oreo is very happy and polite because her boss is a dragon too so she knows what she's dealing with. rojtar almost died that session because he refused venomfang to magically mark him so long that our dm was literally about to say that venomfang breathes poison at him when rojtar's player finally agreed

fun times :D

and i mean it, we all have cool ears (or antennae) to wear during in-person sessions and we're constantly almost dying to basic stuff like goblins or spiders :3

Inspired by: 'I am deep shadow, the watching night', but also inspired by 'Guardian of All Who Dream' and inspired by Nikignik feeling somewhat close to dogs

Also known as 'I get bored so I decide to do really chaotic thick lines with pencil and see what happens'

Basically I keep playing around with art and designs to get ready for that comic I have planned and Nikignik had to be next – even if that is not exactly how I'm thinking of showing his presence in most of the comic panels
