I was encouraged to participate in his open collab of @solar-socks with the triple s movies like controlling some little brothers, so much that I drew the background, I also made him a drawing for his birthday, I know it's been 2 months but I felt bad for not making him a drawing on his birthday, I hope you like it a lot.

it's beautifulooooo, for the first time I see how he colors in his drawings, and it's amazing, AHHHHHHHH!!!!

Would you be interested in sharing your digital art process? I’m especially curious about how you lay down color and lighting so quickly; even your quick doodles have vibrant color and lighting that makes it hard for me to distinguish between them and your more polished pieces! That’s also something I’m trying to get better at so any tips would be cherished ^^

Of course! The main secret to my speed is the brush I use. I use an opacity brush that responds to pressure. So the harder I press, the darker the color, and the lighter I press, the lighter the color. This keeps me from having to change colors and tools a bunch and I can tackle an entire image with just one brush. Every prickle posse doodle is rendered using just one brush.

My TLOU AU doodles are the closest I get to polished because I put thought into light and environment in them. I’ll use 2 brushes to shade those generally, but they are still all opacity brushes.

This Knuckles is the most polished art I’ve ever made lol It took about 2 1/2 hours from sketch to finish. Opacity brush came to the rescue so it went rather quickly. I did this on in Clip Studio Paint. The flat color brush by PlutoEm in the asset store was the best thing ever to make this one happen. 

I use blending modes in everything. I use Shade in SAI, but linear burn and multiply are good too (for shadows and shading). Luminosity, Screen, overlay, and add are the best for highlights and lighting (like the effect of the rain on his body)
