it was after church, you and mark went back to his house together. today, mark played the guitar with the church band. you guys have reached his house... but since you left, you've been feeling sad and mark noticed from the look of your face. feeling insecure, to be exact.

"what happened, baby? are you not feeling well?" he asked you, caressing your right thigh his other hand still holding the steering wheel. you and mark was still inside his car. "no, i'm fine! i'm great!" you forced a laugh out.

"don't lie, y/n... i noticed the look in your eyes" mark, is super sensitive when it comes to reading people he's literally like a psychic. "tell me what happen" he says, now his hand moved and caress your cheek. "uhmm..." you wanted to tell him, but the words just can't seem to come out of your mouth.

"uhh, you know adeline?" you said,

flashback starts!

there's this new girl at your's and mark's church, mark's dad was the one in charge of guarding the main door of the church. mark's dad had never seen the girl's face before, so he knew that it was the first time she had come to this church.

mark's dad knows that you came to church today and has decided that he will introduce the girl to you so the girl is not alone. "ah y/n!" mr.lee called your name. "yes, mr.lee? is there a problem?" you asked him politely. "no there is not, my dear... this girl right here with me is new to this church, can you accompany her through out the service? i need to countinue welcoming the others" mr. lee asked you, and tell the girl to sit beside you. "sure, mr.lee! she can sit with me" you told him and mr.lee just nods and went bact to the main door of the church entrance.

"hi, i'm y/l/n but you can call me y/n!" you introduce yourself to the girl. "oh, i'm adeline! i love your dress, it's super pretty!" she said, as she smiles. the girl is so pretty, she had this eye smile that makes her eyes dissapear when she smiles and she also has dimples.

"thank you! got the dress from zara, hehe! adeline, that's a perfect name for a pretty girl!" you said, then she chuckles, "well thank you! you are very pretty yourself" she complements you.

"thank you, haha... btw, mr.lee said that you are new, are you perhaps from another city?" you asked her

"yes, i used to live in toronto but i moved here for school purposes... my family is still in toronto though, i moved here alone..."

"ooo, well... welcome to this city and church! i hope you enjoy your time here!" you smiled and pat her shoulders

"thank you! oh yes, who was the man that had brought me to you?" she asked

"oh, he is mr.lee , he's one of the permanent members of this church... he practically comes here every week"

"and he has a son to, his son also goes to this church... oh the service is about to start" discountinueing the words that you are about to say and focusing on the mass.

mark and the church's band comes out from backstage and starts playing. due to focusing on mark and the loud music, you didn't realise that adeline was trying to ask you something...

adeline decided to just keep it to herself for a moment and focus on the service.

once the service was done, adeline asked you this one question. "y/n, do you know who was the band's guitar player? he's cute, i want to know him!" adeline blurted out

"oh, the one who played the guitar? he's mark lee... he is mr.lee's son." you answered, with hesitation

mark was done with his bandmates and he went up to you while you were still talking to adeline. "hi, y/n! how was my performance is it good?" mark asked you out of nowhere. "oh mark! yes the bands performance was very good today!" you tell him

"and this is adeline, she's new here..."

"hello, i'm adeline! i've just moved here! hope we get along well!" adeline said, basically excited to see mark every other week. "oh, hi... i'm mark." mark said, and thinly smiled. 

you’ve noticed the way adeline’s eyes shined when she looked at mark. a spark of jealousy and insecurity mixing in with your feelings. well she’s beautiful, she looks kind. got her life together and is brave enough to live in another city without her parents. 

you knew very well that adeline already has feelings for mark eventhough they've just met.

flashback ends!

"noo, y/n, baby... i will never leave you for a girl that i barely know." mark wiped your tears away

"but, anything could happen you know? i don't want you to leave me"

"just keep calm okay, don't let your insecurities get over you."

"why can't i be as pretty, as smart, as independent as her?" you said

"you are pretty, you are smart, and you're also very independent. everybody has their own flaws and everybody is perfect in their own different ways. including you, you are perfect in your own way. you are perfect for me..."

as he said that, he pulled you into a kiss

"i just wanted you to know that i love you no matter what, no matter when, no matter why, no matter where, and no matter how. okay?" mark said and tucked your hair behind your ear.

you really really thanked God, because He sended you a boyfriend like mark.

"fuck, i am so hecking lonely" you said lying in your bed. it was currently like 12 in the middle of the night. living alone for the past year has got you feeling alone most of the time, being away from your parents and your siblings was pretty hard. sometimes you just feel like as if you were stranded alone in an empty island.

"i want some companion..." you said as your eyes get teary. wiping your tears away, you opened your phone to see the nearest pet adoption center in your area. theres this adoption center that you've found and you are planning to visit tommorow.

looking at the time right now. "shit, it's already 1.00 a.m. i need to go to sleep. the adoption center opens at 8.00 a.m. and closses at 7.00 p.m. so maybe i'll drop by at 11"

"am hoping to find a puppy to bring home tommorow" you yawn, feeling you're tiredness grew bigger than before.

the next day, you woke up at about 9 and got ready to go to the adoption center. once you're done you got into you're car and drove away to the adoption center.

once you got there, one of the staff leads you to meet some of the puppies and dogs. there's this fluffy samoyed that catches your eyes, the samoyed itself was also drawn to you. he ran towards you and starts sniffing at you, he stands and put his two front arms on your upper thighs. you petted him on his head and he enjoyed it. and at that very moment you have fallen in love!

the samoyed was about 1.5 years old, he is a stray that was found near a train rail. the poor baby was lost, and someone had founded him and took him to the adoption center.

once you are done with all the adoption papers and stuff, you drove to a pet store to get a collar, a harness, dog food, and some dog bowls. you brought him along with you to pick his own collar by sniffing one of them. he picked this balck collar with a bone name tag on it that matches with his white fur. after you pay for all of the items, you went home.

once you got to your aprtment, he sniffed all over the place. he pee'd at the corner of your room just adapting to his new living space. the apartment building itself allows the residents to have pets so it's all good.

"what shall i name you? the animal shalter said that your name was unknown and they had not picked a name for you yet..." thinking about names makes your head hurts, so mamy choices you got on your mind but nothing seems to fit and clicked with the fluffy animal.

by the time you guys got home, it was already 5 and you haven't had any lunch. you just had a pb and j sandwich and some milk, but you are super tired from all the driving and preparation that you fell asleep on top of your bed as soon as you lay on it.

you were woken up because of the warmth that you have felt. feeling as if you were hugged by a person, but you live alone didn't you?

you realised that there were a pair of arms that's wrapped securely around you waist, holding you in their embrace.

"shit, who is this?" you mumbled under your breath. you turned around to face the person. once you've turned you were met with this peaceful and handsome sleeping face. you nearly screamed, because the man in front of you suddenly opened his eyes.

his eyes shined as it met yours. "hi, i'm jeno! i'm the samoyed that you've just adopt from the animal shelter!" the man said still hugging you in place.

"wait, what? really? how?" he chuckled as he sees your now confused face. "yes, i can shapeshift but only from humans to a samoyed" he explained. "wait, are you really nono?" you asked

"who's nono?" the men got confused to

"the samoyed, i was going to name him that"

"cutee, i am him. i can show you y'know... i can become nono like now."

*jeno shapeshifts.

"bark bark!" the samoyed is now currently on your bed, with you. "so you really are nono! but how? and why are you in my bed?" you pet the fluffy samoyed then he turns back to his human form.

"i am, i liked youu! you seem kind and caring so i got comfortable with you right away!"

"so do you want me to call you nono or jeno?"

"you can call me both, nono is kind of like my name to since my real name is jeno! if your wondering why am i a stray, i got lost and somebody had found me and brought me to the animal shelter."

"what had made you picked and adopt me at the animal shelter?"

"you know, i was drawn the second that i looked at you. kind of like love at fisrt sight, like you just expirienced you got comfortable with me the second that you looked at me. that was what i felt too!" you answered "plus, i need a companion... that's why im looking for a pet, i'm an anti-social and i don't really have many friends around here. i moved away from my family for college, that is why i live here alone... welp, i got my companion now!"

"by the way, i don't have any clothes for guys do you want to buy some maybe? it's cold you know?" seeing him being shirtless in this fall weather makes you feel cold already. "it's okay, we can buy it tommoroww" he said, hugging you and burrying his face in the crook of your neck.

"okay then"

"since you're worried about me being cold, then please warm me up by hugging me back! thank youuu" he said cutely, you chuckled the smiled. your reflex reacted by slowly petting his fluffy black hair. and you've now realised that you have really fallen in love in first sight with jeno. and so is he had fallen in love with you!
