Maybe the real difference between SVSSS and the other MXTX books is that in MDZS and TGCF both members of the main couple are sometimes, occasionally, pretty cool

Poison Ivy! Shen Yuan AU because this is taking my brain hostage.

Basically, Shen Yuan transmigrates as a demonic plant cultivator, or some kind of weird alchemist, and that means he is both able to control plants snd that his body has a weird biology.

Originaly, this character was supposed to be a minor character related to one of the wives, but SY's wife beam is just too strong for him to stay unnoticed and now he is the "untouchable deadly beauty" of a city somewhere and Binghe is incredbly smug that he is basically the only one who can kiss this man without dying from the shit ton of poison/venon in his body.

(Bingbing is desperately not thinking about his father and cousin, who would also be immune)

Also, just for funsies, it can be revield that SQQ's ass is like a venus trap and it dissolves the heavenly pilar so Binghe can both enjoy that weird pain AND insist that it's better for him to bottom.

You know, I'm a little disappointed that John/Arthur aren't canonically queer, but I'm not really surprised. Is anyone really?? A mutual (who has been in the fandom much longer) mentioned a lot of people got angry because of this and even went after the creator, like??? Idk if it's baby fujos who are new to this, but 95% of media is either straight or ambiguous. When you ship two characters together, it's through the lens of delusion and imagination. First of all, content creators don't owe you anything, LEAST of all content creators that make content for FUCKING FREE. And second of all, who gives a shit about canon?? Write that fic, draw fanart, post headcanons- why would canon affect this in any way? This isn't about representation in media, this is a hobby, it's something we do for fun... smush their faces together and make kissy noises like they're Barbie dolls. FUCK canon, just have fun!
