Today is the day of the funeral so I won't be on as much...

Below are some pictures I took at the wake yesterday (1/2/2024) for anyone who is curious...

He was a veteran, loving father/grandfather/Great grandfather, and above all else... He gave out three peppermints to people with a smile on his face and goodness in his heart ❤️

Yes, my grandfather is... Was a veteran. He will get a veterans funeral today with the gun salute and all.

Not every veteran gets this privilege and it is sad 😭

My children even started to cry when they realized he was gone... (Until everyone showed up then it was like they were on sugar crack 🤣) but they livened things up for a while till we had to go home... Even the funeral directors appreciated my children's lively attitude.

If you're wondering why he gave out ONLY 3 peppermints well, he was a Christian man who gave out the peppermints as a reference to the Father, the son, and the holy Ghost... With the white representing purity and the red representing his blood. Don't worry, he never pushed his belief on anyone as he believed God was the only judge... and if you believed what you believed then God should judge you for what you believe, if that makes sense. As long as you are a good person then you had no problems with him.

He only wished kindness and good faith for people~ everyone in the community called him "The Candy Man" (in a good way).

And he only gave the candy to adults as he wanted to teach children never to accept candy from strangers, only your parents as the parents are to be responsible for their children.

If you have read this far I appreciate your time and I will try to be on tomorrow (1/4/2024) in the afternoon... I just didn't want y'all to worry and keep you updated without upsetting y'all. It is a sad time for me and my family BUT it is also joyful... He is home and no longer in pain.

I have some bad news, and no it's not about the blogs...

Read below for more

Today I just found out that at 6:00 a.m. my grandfather had finally passed away. This may not seem like much but for some of you who have lost family y'all would understand that my grandfather was basically like my own dad when my father was gone during the divorce. He was my teacher, my protector, and all around my closest Best Friend (figuratively speaking of course).

Today (Dec. 27, 2023) he had passed away at 6:00 a.m.... if he had held out until after tomorrow he would have made it to his birthday. He was up in his 80s almost 90 years old and considering that he already lost his better half a few years ago, this is actually something of a joyous occasion. Yes I have cried tears of sadness early this morning when I found out and got confirmation from my mother, but spending time with my better half (@bigred1462) and going with him to get the tire he has shown me that though my grandfather is gone I am still in a better place than when I was many years ago. And though that my grandfather is gone I still have a future to look forward to~ yes he was sad for me as well as he has lost many family members as well through it all he is reminding me of the things in which I celebrate for my grandfather's passing. What my grandfather taught me, what it means to be a family, and that having someone there for you makes everything all worth it more...

I am still sad and I will probably still be grieving over the fact of my grandfather's loss but I will not forget the lessons he has taught me and the joyous smile he has brought to many people especially in the community (irl) do you know that I will be trying to do things for the blog is just at this moment things might be a little slow to getting back on track especially with the New Year rolling around. I hadn't been doing much on the blog due to the Christmas time and I'm trying to get in better place with a job that will pay me for the work I actually do I'm halfway there and getting everything to where it needs to be... But now I have a family member to grieve as well as making sure that my bills are paid for at the new year and that I can get caught up with them (the phone bill is the hardest thing to keep up with but now that my electric bill is caught up and I can easily pay it later in the month that's no problem. the water bill may have went up but not by much, it could be worse) above all else I have a few pages for the comic done but I wanted to try and get a few more done I still have an ask or two to finish replying to so I will try and get that done in the next day or so... I wanted to let you all know why I might not be on as much today as I normally would or what has recently transpired in my family.

And this is important to me because I wasn't able to make it to my grandmother's funeral when she passed away due to complications in my previous marriage... At least I can grieve with family this time and be able to say goodbye to him before he is buried and not at his grave.

The pain still hurts and I will still cry, but as my grandfather once said: "do not cry for the dead rejoice for they no longer suffer and they are with their heavenly Father, no longer in pain or strife with no worries or sadness."

To all of those who have read this whole entire thing I appreciate your time and patience and understanding. And I also understand that this past year everybody has lost somebody important to them and for those I do grieve but also learn to rejoice for they no longer suffer and are on to the next journey of their life...

Death is not really an end, it is just a transition into a new life~ 🌌

About to play the DLC for Pokemon Scarlett so wish me luck. Below will be each pokémons stats 👇

Sasha is a Hisuian Zoroark... I actually wasn't planning for her to be female but that's how things roll~

Yumi was one of two Charcadets I had had bread for good stats, she is the second best one I have...

Archie was born from my Paladin champion, Smith, to have amazing stats, but to be safe I hyper trained him.

To be honest, I was breeding my best Pawniard for a shiny, but with how close the DLC was I had to settle for the best one to put on my team... Maybe later after the DLC I will try to breed Valkyrie to see if I can get a shiny~ I love the color blue on the Pawniard line.

Rose was just a random catch but with her amazing stats I used her for most of my Tara Raids~ even though her Pixelate would be a better ability I left Cute Charm on her...

And finally I bred my starter Orchid to get a better set of stats on a Meowscarada and retired my starter and named her descended daughter with her name. Considering that when I bred her she ended up with two fantastic stats in both attack and special attack I figured it would be a great idea to add her to my team~

Wish me luck in playing the DLC with this team. I'm not a competitive player I just wanted to use specific Pokemon to play through the story~

A quick little update~

I appreciate the asks I have the pictures ready for them I just have to get them done today (Dec. 14) this morning I have to go on a field trip with my oldest child and I forgot my sketchbook at home to take the pictures but being off today means I can at least do it this afternoon once I get home. (No guarantee but I do plan on trying)

Also the new DLC dropped just a few hours before midnight here where I'm for Pokemon scarlet and violet and I was wanting to finish my team up before I even started it. My Boyfriend couldn't find time to finish his Pokedex so he asked me to do it on my days off... which I tried. He still needs 35 more to finish the regular dex making it manageable for him to get the shiny charm (although with how many shiny he's already encountered I don't think he needs the charm 😆😂)

I'm still trying to get my bills caught up as I transferred to a new job that pays more ($11 per hour) and allows me to work the morning shift while my kids are in school. The past couple of days I've had to leave early due to boss's orders as labor was high but that's okay because they'll be times where I've tried to find myself to get busy and there be something that I can't do or they have enough people doing enough jobs, again I'm making $11 an hour I think I can afford to go home just an hour or so early from work to be able to be ready to get my children from school... That's more than I can say for my last job. Working at this job I have to wait at least two whole weeks before getting paid my first check so I'll have to get all my bills paid on the 20th but with the hours I've been working and showing the commitment that I can do what needs to be done it's actually a fairly simple job for $11 an hour, not the easiest job but I'm getting paid more for having to deal with everything and that's something~

I just wanted to update y'all as to why I haven't answered asks yet or have done anything else spectacular as of late... As I stated earlier right now I'm waiting to go on a field trip with my oldest child as per request of her teacher, my oldest child tends to be excited and forget to stick in line or stick with the group and rather than expect the teachers to do their best to keep in line with all the children I figured I would do my parental duty and come escort my child to behave herself on this field trip, as a parent SHOULD! (I'm not saying that everyone's a terrible parent for not escorting their kid or supervising them, but it just seems that you see more online parents neglecting their kids or expecting others to raise them... My mental state is "I had fun making the child, now I should take my responsibility in caring for the child" LOL there ARE good parents out there)

I'm not saying everyone can be a parent, if you choose not to have kids that is your choice and it is understandable that you are focusing on you at the moment or you feel like you are not parental material or you have fully decided not to have kids and that the world will still continue on without you having kids, it's definitely not the end of the world if you decide not to have kids. Children are a full-on responsibility that you have to be mentally physically and financially able to care for, they do not come with manuals, they do not come with all the mannerisms they are to have, they are like puppies you have to train them... I know this is like a whole big rant but if you've read all the way through this then I appreciate the time you took to read all of this or I'm happy to have at least killed some time for you since you're trying to waste time reading all this hobgobble 🤣 it's kind of obvious I'll sometimes go on a rant when I just want to simply put out there an update.

In any case if you've read this far I'm happy that you shared your time with me and or I was happy to kill some time for you, but as soon as I get back into the routine of working while my kids are in school and then enjoying the time in the afternoon with them while working on several projects everything will be hunky dory, hopefully with the New Year things can get into a routine and I can be able to get back on track~ the reason I say New Year is because the kids will be out of school for a couple of weeks and things are going to get hectic while I'm at work 😅

A quick heads up to all Minecraft artists!!!

There is a YouTuber; sansink689 : who has been reposting shorts and videos with other people's artwork... A Warning was put out on Twitter/X if you have not seen or have a Twitter/X by Master_Closure informing everyone about this YouTuber.

(More under cut for space reasons)

I could not report for stealing artwork but I went on ahead and down voted a couple of their videos to which they used art that I know for a fact belong to Original artists here on Tumblr as well as Twitter/X. On top of that I also asked multiple questions on multiple videos and shorts... Asking basically the same questions over and over.

At the moment of typing this up I have yet to get a response but I'm expecting them to either; one: answer me with their honest opinion, or two: block me. It's already obvious that the original artists of these artworks are both here on Tumblr as well as Twitter/X and probably do not know of this... But if you already do please inform me if they had even bothered asking (to which I doubt highly they asked but...)... In my honest opinion if you can't report then at least constantly ask them about where they got the images from? who the original artists are? Did they ask the original artists?

I don't want to go into their chat and just say "hey you're scum for stealing someone's artwork!!" because it's obvious they live in a country different from where I'm living, to which in my country (Suck America USA) if you're caught stealing artwork you're immediately called out for it, but I believed they are from Russia (do not quote me I am not 100% sure) to which I don't think the rules apply to them as well but that doesn't mean you can't call them out for it by constantly asking them where the original art was from where they got the original artwork or on top of that did they ask the original artist because it's obvious they didn't do any of this artwork... they technically took it from wherever they found it and instead of looking up the original artist they used it for their videos to try and earn money... (I do apologize if this sounds rude or ugly but this is just my first opinion on seeing all of this artwork that they had taken and putting it in videos without any of the credits...)...

I don't even know what their age is, they could just be a young kid who doesn't know any better or is like "oh look at all this art I found online that I really like I want to post it on my channel because I love it so much!" And don't know that they're technically stealing the artwork from the original artist...

So if you've read this far then please at least ask them where they got the artwork or in any case if they ask the original artist... And if you ARE the original artist of the artwork in which they used in these videos, please go to them and politely ask them where they found the images and if they could take down their videos with your artwork in it... If they refuse to take down the videos or refuse to answer you about the situation then do what you must to get the situation resolved because I have no control over them just as I have no control over you... I just ask that we start this off as politely as possible to get them to understand that they need to ask before using someone else's artwork.

In deciding to try and draw the warden I inadvertently created new characters 😅 they still don't have names but let me introduce you to my Warden, blind illager, and half blind villager...

Under the cut to save room

I wanted to put my own spin on the Warden because I've noticed a few artists who do very well renditions of them... In the end I went with a default dragon style, sort of, for the warden... If you had seen my older artwork (I mean MUCH OLDER) then you would notice that I have a particular style when it comes to drawing animals 😑

Not too good but not too terrible either more of meh...

But I didn't want him to be left alone, so I thought it'd be neat for him to take in a blind illager as a pet... Where as she thinks he is the pet (language barrier 🚧)...

Then as usual, I had to add a half blind villager into the mix... Again, the warden adopts him too as a pet where the Villager thinks the opposite. The Villager thinks he basically is caring for two blind beings...

They still technically don't have names but they do have a bit of backstory;

The warden shares his territory with his older brother, who is the dominant one. Eventually, when he adopts the blind illager his brother forces him to make a choice; get rid of his new pet or leave the territory... It's obvious he chooses the ladder to keep his pet. Eventually the warden and his new pet come across another similar to her kind except somewhat different. He starts to think that maybe he can adopt both of them as his pets and then he could show others that hurry up that would be so bad... Maybe eventually he can come across one that can speak the language of his pets and maybe he can learn from them how to communicate... Maybe one day~

The blind illager was not always blind. She did have poor vision when she was able to see, but in a duel with another Evoker... He blinded her purposely for his plans. After being blinded she understood what his plan was and ran through the cave system close by the mansion, blind and scared, to get away from it all. She ended up coming across the warden's territory and the warden himself took it like him to her... She then wondered if she could tame it and make it a loyal Ally, or in the very least a loyal pet. From the warden she learned that her blindness was not really a weakness but something that she could easily overcome. When she comes across a stubborn villager she realizes that he still has his vision, if only half of it. However she doesn't fully know he's a villager (until he tells her) as not being able to see and they're kind being too similar other than a few features, she thinks of him as another Ally, although a stubborn one, an additional Ally nonetheless... She starts to fall for him until he finally admits that he is a villager, and now she is torn from what she was raised to pillage from them to getting to know one. She keeps the feelings to herself until she can sort it out...

The Villager lost part of his eyesight in his early years of mining after running into some skeletons. In his current age he is the foreman of the mining team but due to a freak accident ends up losing his team and getting lost. Believing that the survivors have pretty much claimed him dead, he decided that if he ever made it out he would let them know that he was alive and well. During his job he takes safety very seriously, trying to teach the younger generation of new minors to always be on the lookout. Eventually he came across the blind illager and the warden... believing that they need his assistance to get out. In reality it was the other way around, he needed them....

Just a friendly reminder that my icons and background images will return to normal halfway through November... But RPs that are still ongoing during the Spiritober Event can still continue until both parties are satisfied and bring it to a conclusion.

A lot of people started Role plays but for some reason or another had stopped halfway through the event... No need for alarms everyone stops role playing for some reason whether it be personal or just a mental block... This is the reason I'm leaving the role plays still going, as for the starters for the role plays their links will be taken down on @orchid-151 tomorrow ( Nov. 7th) so if you want to do a starter for the spirit tober event before I remove the links your best bet is to go on ahead and save a copy of the link down or go on ahead and save the starter in your drafts. The starters will stay up and be left open for anybody who wants to search for them but straight direct links to them will be deleted soon.

As for any upcoming events, there will be no personal events for the foreseeable future until sometime next year as I'm sure somebody has a Christmas event coming up for all the blogs...

I'm not upset about Thanksgiving being pushed to the side now as it took me this long to figure out that Thanksgiving is an American holiday where Halloween and Christmas are celebrated almost around the globe (in different ways but still celebrated). I might do a post about Thanksgiving so all of those who are not originally from America can understand that it's more than just a holiday about lots of food (it's a plus but there is more to it than just food)... Not going to lie, if you wish to look it up yourself you know that there is a lot more to it than just everyone sitting down to give thanks... America and its early stages were not... how would we say, the easiest thing to swallow. But much like other history it is something that should be taught...

This is no way related to the Spiritober Event but I still wanted to share~ I have been helping @adventuringalchemy with a character development (the mentor character to Ivor) and I couldn't help myself with the art! They are really good at portraying his character and I can't wait for more interactions~

For those who don't know our role play is on a private server and basically consist of them meeting back up after a certain time (this takes place in the alpha time line between Father Syrus traveling from the desert village to the spruce village) a non-cannon Alpha Timeline where they met as apprentice and child for a short while, Ivor being 17 years old and Orchid being 8 to 9 years old... After a month or so (we haven't gotten to that yet) Father Syrus leaves with Orchid and the events that happen in adventuringalchemy universe happen as is according to their world lore...

Role-playing for fun and development~

The first image is of a scene that hasn't happened yet, where they are encouraged to dance together~

This next one is just of some Doodles of ideas that were floating around...

And finally this next image has a little bit of something we talked about for fun, can a scene idea in which Drake makes his appearance in his hero form (how he originally looked before being able to change bodies/shapeshift) I wanted to see how it would look if I just colored it as a sketch...

It's already apparent that Drake has his own personal philosophies and ideas... And secrets...

And finally how big the pictures are actually in the SketchBook, just so you get an idea on how big the page is that I draw on...
