"Lusaka is warm most of the year, so we tend to gravitate towards pueces that are airy and summery. The slow-paced nature of the town means that we more often than not dress in some version of 'casual'."- @mafashio_zambia #MyAfricaIs #Curators #lusaka #zambia . . #fashionblogger #fashion #africanfashion #melanin #blackgirlmagic (at Lusaka, Zambia)

"There's a misconception about Lusaka that there is no underground art scene. One of our favorite local visual artist right now is #starymwaba for his focus on progressive ideologies." -@mafashio_zambia #myafricais #curator #lusaka #zambia. "We are in love with Lusaka’s few remaining old buildings, reminiscent of 1950’s Zambia. We appreciate all the new buildings and development, but it’s interesting to see where the city started."- @mafashio_zambia #MyAfricaIs #Lusaka #Curators Pictured here the Anglican Cathedral in Lusaka, Zambia #Lusakalife #Zambia #lusaka #architecture #vintage #landscape #TravelAfrica #history #Documentary #photography (at Lusaka, Zambia)

#MyAfricaIs #ChaleWote2016 w/ @jabdvlai Day 4: The LABs: An intellectual expedition on the theme of #SpiritRobot through film, music, and discussions. First up was the film "The Forgotten Ancient Kingdoms" by first-time filmmaker Mandiaya Sumani Seyni at the W.E.B. Dubois Center. It was great learning about the origins of Northern Ghana's tribes and kingdoms, my origins. I was also delighted to realize I could understand many of the other Northern Ghanaian languages! We are all connected! #CirqVoyage
