Today's Inktober challenge was 'splat'. We both took it in such different ways, honestly I'm impressed. This was a lot of fun and I really like challenging myself outside of my comfort zone. I definitely recommend others to just try drawing some doodles with drawing prompts, it gets the imagination juices flowing!~

Day 34

Today at work, I was pretty happy, since I was really productive and got a lot of work done! Also, I worked out today when I got home from work, so that felt great!~

A strange thing that happened today was that the KT (network service provider) was down, so I couldn't buy anything for lunch. The reason being, most cash registers use KT apparently? So it was a little weird, but thankfully my awesome coworkers offered some extra ramen that they had (they have a giant stash at work in case they are hungry). Very lucky to have such kind people around me, even at work ㅠㅠ <3

More birthday gifts, and some delicious food that my lovely boyfriend decided to cook for me (he cooks a lot at home, and it's delicious every. single. time.) Very blessed to have such wonderful people in my life!~

This is about it for all of the pictures I took, I'm sorry it's not a lot, but at least it is something! Again, I will try my best to stay on track again. Fingers crossed that I will keep up with it better than before!~

Some of my birthday gifts and some delicious food that I had with my coworkers (on two different days). One day we had chicken together, and on my actual birthday we went out to one of my favorite KBBQ places to eat some Hanwoo [한우] aka Korean marbled beef. SO DELICIOUS :)

Days 21 ~ 33

OK. Finally a post! I am so sorry it took so long to post again. I was crazily busy for almost two whole weeks!

I had a birthday celebration with friends on so many days, that I lost count, and I also kept getting so many amazing gifts and sweet messages from friends and family members. I will put a photo dump of a bunch of stuff I got and some things I ate / did all together, since it would take forever to do it individually at this point. I had a chance last weekend to post, but I was so exhausted that I just slept all day haha.

I will hopefully be able to keep up with my normal routine again, I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things starting from today! (Hence a post after such a long time). I wanted to make a super long post about all the things I did and write it all in detail, but if I'm being honest, I had such a blast, that everything kind of blurred together into one big chunk of 'time', so I'm not quite sure how to divide it up at this point.

Day 20

Woohoo!~ All caught up again!~

Sadly, since I was quite busy this weekend as well, I wasn't able to do most of the things on my daily checklist, BUT I was able to sneak in a few workouts, so I'm really happy about that. Today felt like such a magical day. I was able to have a great time with people that I love and care for, and I just cannot believe how lucky I am. These past few days, I've gotten in contact with friends I haven't talked with for years. And I realized I'm seriously lucky. It's not everyone that is lucky enough to be surrounded by such amazing, supportive, unique, and wonderful people. Both near and far, I know there's always someone I can count on to bring a smile to my face.

If you're reading this, I hope you know I appreciate you, and I truly love you from the bottom of my heart. Whether we talk a lot, or not at all, or you've only silently looked at my posts. If you've been in my life recently, or a long time ago, even if you've been consistently in my life. I am thankful for all of it. Looking back, even though I did some mistakes, to see where I am now, and to think back to all the amazing people I've met on the way. It really blows my mind.

Sorry, I didn't mean this to be so emotional all of a sudden, but wow. You guys are fucking awesome (excuse my language). Yes, you too. I love you!

For another pre-birthday celebration (this time with some close friends) we went to one of my absolute favorite restaurants. It's called Ash Tree (애쉬트리) and it's close to Guui Station (구의 역). They do everything well I swear. But my favorite thing to eat here is definitely their avocado burger, it's so good. Even as I write this, I'm salvation just writing about it and looking at the photos. Honestly, I am so lucky to have found out about this place at one of the first English academies I worked at. The workers there know me, and the owner knows me by name (I went way too many times, that's how good it is!). But in the past year, they've started something new. They started brewing their OWN beer in house. And let me tell you, it's so good! I cannot recommend this place enough. If you want to go there, please let me know so that I can come too, it's amazing!

Day 19

What a fun and packed day I had today. I ended up sleeping over at a friends house (we used to be coworkers and hang out almost every day). Since I changed schools it was pretty difficult to meet up, not because we were too far away from each other, but because we both got really busy. It was so nice catching up and relaxing together for the whole day (and night). We ended up eating some KBBQ and also drinking a bit while enjoying some Netflix shows. I'll keep this post short since I already talked about it quite a bit in the previous post!~

Today was a very special day! I wasn't able to take many photos, but I was able to spend most of the day with one of my very close friends (she's a bit camera shy, so I won't upload any photo of her) I was able to meet her boyfriend's dog (which I've been wanting to meet for a very very VERY long time now). He is the cutest, and give lots and lots of kisses. I was also able to see my friend's dog again (who has the CUTEST ears ever). And I had ended up staying overnight at her place. It was so nice just catching up and watching some Netflix together (we mostly watched Brooklyn 99, if you don't know it, it's a pretty awesome TV show!~). Before going to her house though, we had some delicious KBBQ. My pictures didn't turn out as great as I would've liked, so it just give me a new excuse to go there again so that I can show it to you in all of its glory!~

Day 18

Today, my boyfriend, some of my friends, and I did a bit of filming at my house for a YouTube video!~ When it comes out, I'll definitely put a link for the ones who would like to watch it! It was a lot of fun today, and I was able to meet a new friend, she's from Russia, and so kind!~

This is a really awesome place that we get food delivered from, this type of meat is called 'bossam' [보쌈] I'm not entirely sure how to explain it, but it's a part of the big, it's quite tender, and really really delicious!~ The place we usually order delivery from is called "마늘은 약이다" {Garlic is Medicine}. They have a lot of delicious side dishes and I like their meat quality the best! If you have one close by, I definitely recommend ordering from here. It's so tender, and they give pretty big portions!~

Day 17

Oh how I wish every week was a four day work-week. It's just so much better for my physical and mental health, plus I feel like I can actually recover from the work week during the weekend. It's truly blissful!~

Today after work, as you may have seen from the previous post, I ate out with some of my coworkers as an early birthday celebration. It was some delicious Korean barbeque and I will definitely be going to that place again soon (I hope). It's such a delight eating there and I spent a great time with some quality people. I was quite busy this long weekend as well, with no day to spare as a rest day, thus all of my posts for the weekend are being posted now in a giant mountain of posts. Anyways TGIF!~

Alrighty, so on Friday after work, I went out with some of my coworkers for some delicious Korean BBQ. This was so delicious and it was our second time coming here! I keep forgetting to write down the name, but it is close to Nowon station [노원역]. Next time I come here, I will try being more mindful of the name so that I can share this little gem with you!~ They have some great pork belly and side dishes!~

This was a bit of a pre-birthday celebration since my birthday is on Wednesday, but I have quite a few coworkers, so to get around the restrictions I'm meeting different coworkers here and there in order to celebrate together!~
