Sorry I'm not even sure why I am posting it on this blog but did anybody ever have a boyband they loved back in the day as a teen / pre-teen / whatever and you would they were SO fit, but actually you look back at them now you're older and realise fuck they were actually quite skinny (even if toned) and actually it probably wasn't that healthy and now I'm worried about them even though they are inside that early 90s video and I'm here only just realising in 2024

hi buddy, as a normal person who saw the post abt low rimmer and the secret instincts, yep. he looves having authority, being in control, barking orders at people, etc, which he's even admitted himself at least once. as such, (god makes the rules, not me) be patient and let him stumble through his fear and awkwardness for a while, get him in his zone, and be DESTROYED

A few years back I think I would have had Rimmer down as the whiny submissive type but now I think maybe he's a bit of a switch in that, yes, you could totally get him in his zone and let him wreck you 🥵 but also afterwards, (maybe my brain is switching to Chris rather than Rimmer here but 😅😅😅) he wouldn't mind just resting on your shoulder while you stroke his hair after he put all that energy into being in that kind of role 😇

I think maybe I'm also thinking of Thanks For The Memory Rimmer where he gets all soft and sings that song while being all sad 😔 You know how you could just cuddle him and make him feel loved even after letting him fulfil what could be a very hard core fantasy (depending on how he wants to play it out and how far you're willing to let him go 😈)

A whole decade a ago today I embarrassed myself in front of Craig Charles by screaming "Smooth with a capital SMOO AHHHH YEAAAHHHH!" down the corridor of a convention 🤣

He was absolutely lovely though and still took a picture with me and my friend at the end of the day (despite having to pay to have pictures taken in the event) 😁

Does anyone else watch episodes of Red Dwarf and wonder what a series in an alternate universe would be like?

Like what if Lister gave birth and stayed with his boys in the parallel Universe and tried to live a "normal" life with the boys and his female self? Like action packed, saving the universe kind of vibes, bazookoids at the ready to defeat evil and just generally be awesome lol

Or what were the Red Dwarf crew like in the alternate dimension with Lister as a hologram and Kochanski as the last human being alive?

Or Ace Rimmer's daily shenanigans saving princesses and being a bacofoil budget space version of James Bond?

Or (really random) series 1 Lister is magic and Frankenstein is his familiar and his purpose of being on the ship is to make Rimmer feel like he has purpose in life / prevent the crew from an incident such as the radiation leak

Or just me that does this? 🤣
