God forbid I spend a single day without drawing random ass ocs that I pulled out of my oc closet
(Kodo is a god of death and afterlife, and Topi is their husband, the late god of fertility. Kodo sees themself taking on the duties of their partner, while Topi's ghost remains by their side in the underworld to give them emotional support!)
My thoughts on 2.1 TB mission:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY WHYYYY
Overall pretty good. Looking forward to the next one
(Scitters in late to the osdd convo) technically seele in hi3 canonically has osdd!! She calls her alter 'the other me' until they have a talk and decide to call her seele as well (in game the other seele is also called veliona). Veliona is a protector type imo and hi3 does let them have separate bodies later on due to anime magic bullshit which I just find rly fun
I never played HI3, so I didn't know anything about Seele. That's neat!!
Now we just need an osdd-coded character in HSR to close the holy hoyo trinity...... haha jk.... unless..?
So... uhhh... I got an aventurine for my rock collection, and then I remembered that I really, really like drawing rocks!!!
I've been thinking about this land of the lustrous AU non-stop for days. Aven is obviously an aventurine, and I think Ratio is perfect for an ametrine, which means I now have to get one too :[
Veri is a doctor and occasionally a teacher, while Aven is a fighter (who partners up with Topaz and/or Jade)
Bonus:
Got hit with a surge of inspiration and decided to draw old ocs again
Some lore:
The "Leviathans" are dragon brothers widely worshipped throughout the coasts of... unnamed southern seas??? Each represents a distinct oceanic habitat — Zef is the lively, warm coastal waters; Ter is the lightless abyssal trenches; and Lotan is the endless open sea. I like them very much
Ter is the oldest brother and the others won't leave him alone
A slightly off-topic ramble about the animatic:
One day I was watching some "red flags" animations and thought to myself, "It's really a shame I can't find an animation featuring Dottore in this exact way that I'm picturing. It would be cool if someone had this idea and did that." Then I realized that I was, in fact, someone who had this idea
I've been working on this project for two whole months! It was the very first time I attempted making something like this, and it was so fucking hard. I did everything on clip studio and followed this tutorial for everything (many thanks to this kind soul!). I'm really tired.
I didn't really like the result, but I'm in the habit of disliking everything that I make. The real positive here is that I actually managed to finish it. I have some serious executive issues, so I didn't think I could actually turn this seemingly complicated idea in my mind into a real thing. I spent copious hours polishing minuscule details, remaking entire frames, and doing just about anything to avoid calling this project finished. But now it is! And I'm very proud of myself for that.
Anyway, here are some of my favorite frames:
And yes, I really like drawing Dottore. He's my comfort character. That's why I put four of him in the animatic
came for the aventio doodles, stayed for the based did/osdd takes. as a system seeing someone talk openly about that kinda stuff kinda blew me away /pos honestly.
Thanks! It's quite nice to see that there are people who agree with me on this, honestly
