My baby cousin has always been sick, but got diagnosed with cancer when he was six. He started watching Techno with me around then, and his seventh birthday was Techno-themed. He's really tired of being sick. It was showing in his immune system too, because he stopped struggling to stay alive. But then, Techno got diagnosed with cancer too. And he donated to the Sacroma foundation, which helps kids like my baby cousin who have Sacroma cancer. And he wanted to be alive again. He fought and was so fucking brave and now he's eight and is on his last round of chemo. He's better, and his immune system is still weak but he's better. And I have Techno to thank for that.

I know we joke about the whole “[streamer] can’t love you” copypasta, but watching Techno’s father read his letter and talk about what went on in his final days, I can’t find words to express just how much that isn’t true.

Everything Techno did, everything he said, was oozing with nothing but love for his community. Techno was never afraid to tell his community just how much he cared, he never hesitated to say what we meant to him or how proud he was of us.

So I don’t think it’s wrong to say Techno loved us, and I don’t think it’s wrong to admit that we loved him. Maybe not personally, maybe not intimately, but love isn’t defined by intimacy. Love doesn’t have much of a definition at all, really.

So don’t be too worried about being “weird” or cringy or parasocial about this, okay? The passing of a loved one is incredibly difficult to handle, and Techno loved us every way he was capable. There’s no need to be ashamed of how you grieve someone you loved.

It's Finally Happening - Changes to Dream SMP, 3rd Life/Last Life, and other SMP fandoms!

Hello!

Some exciting changes are coming to Video Blogging RPF over the next few weeks! We are happy to announce that Dream SMP, 3rd Life | Last Life SMP Series, Empires SMP, and a number of other Survival Multiplayer (SMP) Minecraft roleplay fandoms will be getting their very own fandom tags. These changes will be starting 10 May 2022, beginning with Dream SMP.

We want to thank you for your patience both in getting to this point, and in the coming weeks as these changes take place! Our volunteers have worked hard towards this change since 2021, and we will do our best to make this transition go as smoothly as possible.

Hello! Welcome to the Sleepy Bois Inc Bingo event 2022!! :D

This fandom event will run from April 2022 to June 2022. What is it?

Sleepy Bois Inc Fandom Bingo is a fandom event in which participants will be invited, each day, to create fan-content: different artworks, short stories, or other pieces according to predetermined prompts. Each piece will count as one “mark” on the participant’s unique bingo card. 

Complete five pieces corresponding to five spaces in a row vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, and you have BINGO! If you finish fast enough, you may qualify for a gift basket prize! For full rules and further information, read the full info sheet here!! To sign up, fill out this form!!!

Fandom bingo works just like how normal bingo would: the only difference is that, instead of numbers and letters (B4, G7, I24, etc.), we call out random prompts! Every day, we will randomly generate a prompt from your bingo card and announce it here on our tumblr, as well as on our twitter! But in order to mark that prompt down on your card, you first have to create SBI content inspired by that prompt! Don’t worry about creating a masterpiece; just focus on doing a little bit every day! We will announce a prompt every day until we run out.

To make things a little more high stakes, our team has prepared three gift baskets for the quickest winners!! Each basket contains a total of 3 pieces from a combination of sbi fanart and fanfics. To nab one, be one of the first 3 people to contact us with a winning card!
