Hey y’all <3 I’ve noticed how inactive I’ve been on here & I’m still getting followers for this blog? This fandom lives! :’) Hamesha, like Rudra and Paro.
I feel like I want to re-energize the RR fandom just a bit because I remember the beautiful Haldi scenes we got and the beauty of the story before writers fucked with my OTP (it seems to be the case with all my ships lolol...I have a very dark pattern of otps). So I’m projecting that around June or so - I’ll be giffing and meta’ing PaRud. Feel free to stick around until then, and if that’s too long, you’re welcome to say goodbye as well.
Oh - and Major PSA - should you actually like me as a person (xD) and wish to keep up with me where I’m pretty much active everyday or so - feel free to follow me @tchahllas, my main blog which is very marvel/social issues/random/comics oriented but has a ton of personal yada-yada as well.
I’ll be back on here for sure in June. Until then, thanks for following this completely inactive blog (yikes!).

major-titli-superhero replied to your post: Every time I reflect on Rangrasiya, th...
I get so mad thinking about RR 2.0. It was so pointless. The channel and CVs ruined what could have been an amazing show (which to me it still is due to me thinking of the ending as that shot of parud and bb dhruv)
I know bb. I know. All that wasted potential...it was so beautiful, so surreal, and ST then chose to destroy his own work of art?! LIKE, ??!?!?! NO I CANNOT FATHOM THE MAN WHO SAID TO PARO YOU GAVE ME BREATH/LIFE BY BEING WITH ME WAS THE SAME RUDRA IN 2.0? Nope. What a callous weird OOCfest 2.0 was. And it’s SO disgusting what they did, that we all can indeed believe full-heartedly that RR ended with bb Dhruv, and PaRud. What happened next was NOT the same show. AT ALL.
#Foreverbitteraboutthepotential tbh UGH. Why did our show have to be in the hands of TRP hankering writers who destroy their very work’s complete essence?! Ah well, PaRud and bb Dhruv <3

Every time I reflect on Rangrasiya, there is one permanent question that I am sure will never, ever be answered.
We all know how, initially, Rangrasiya was supposed to be a cross-border adventure love-story between an army man and a village girl. Tejawat was supposed to be a major focus all throughout, and Rudra and Paro were supposed to join their forces in defeating his plans while falling in love.
And it worked. To a point. The initial episodes kept the rugged, Rajasthani beauty, and we got to see Paro’s gentle, strong demeanor and her beautiful nature that kept her pure and changed Rudra. We got to see how Mohini was a spicy, no-nonsense antagonist who kept the Ranawats on their toes. It ran smoothly. And yet...the question, back then, in the initial days was “How come the show isn’t getting TRPs?” I can think of many reasons. I’ve stated them many, many times before. It’s a combination of the TRP being inaccurate, tracks being good, but rushed, and indecisiveness-but also majorly because the Indian audience didn’t accept the show’s non-urban setting. It didn’t relate to their lifestyle; they couldn’t relate to it. And, Colors thus pressured Saurabh Tewari to change the storyline or axe the show-but, they didn’t say HOW he would do it. They didn’t [to the extent of my knowledge], say “Paro needs to go and bring a urban Myrah in!”. So why did ST callously throw away everything he built - a otp one can only dream of, a woman who truly symbollicaly moved mountains just like the Mother Goddess she was named after - and change the tune so ILLOGICALLY?! Yes, I get it-TRPs, SuchIsLife. But why not NOT throw away what YOU wanted, and simply bring in a more urban setting?! If need be, move PaRud from Rajasthan. Why couldn’t you have made them leave the village, and have to move to Jaipur, or Mumbai, or somewhere more ‘urban’ and slightly change their activities [though I as an RR fan would prefer the original village, but hey, it would be better than the Myrah BS we were put through] so they were deemed more ‘urban’?! Why ST?! Why did you ruin such a theme?! You made each character lose who they were. Rudra became a weirdo who was supposed to look like a Rahul from KKKH, but turned out to be a wishy-washy whiner who wanted Myrah. They took out Paro, they brought in a weird chick named Myrah who [despite being good] was in no way a right match for Rudra and threw us a watered-down, 100% terribly copied, disastrous emulation of the original KKKH. And proclaimed it as Rudra and Myrah. Yeah, ok. I’ve made my peace because Rudra died the day Paro died. The man who got Myrah was a weirdo who completely was out-of-whack with the world who wore purple vests and judged people weirdly, and no Rudra was present. Neither were the other characters. Kakisa, Mohini, the salt-tongued, brilliant antagonist died the day Paro died [actually a few days before, really], and became a random, foolish, self-centered grandmother childishly battling for chutney business with her DIL. Really?! And don’t get me started on the other problems. This was the change, ST?! I don’t even know HOW he thought of it. HOW he singlehandedly destroyed everything he built into the dust and threw an OOC fest.
All for what?! JUST to keep a show a few more months on air?! It’s analagous to ruining your art piece and ripping it into shreds just to have those shreds hang in a gallery for a few more months. Am I bitter?! Very. Because I simply do not understand what happened. All I know is we have the golden tale to cherish from December 2014 to July 2014-the rest is dismissable for the reasons stated above. I just wonder how a man who created such a tale can so callously throw it in SUCH a OOC way, without considering ways to KEEP PaRud AND make it urban, all for a few more months on air.
