A human that didn't know who he was? How peculiar! Despite the fact they adorned people's houses throughout Nijiryuu, the humans were infinitely afraid of dragons. One that didn't recognize him was as unexpected as being betrayed!
Betrayed twice. Shiro looks at the pool of blood, and remembers things he shouldn't be remembering. There's a white dragon with gold fur, in his place. Shiro blinks and it's gone. A headache starts, and Shiro grasps at the side of his head.
A laugh bubbles up in Shiro's chest. It sounds rather clear and pleasant sounding, incredibly human, but carries an edge of desperation to it.
"D-Don't you know a dragon when you see one? How unexpected!" He takes his own steps back when the human does, just as wary. He presses himself against the crates, looks at Ed's hands as though expecting a weapon, but surprised to find none. "Who are you? Where am I?" He asks rapidly, a little breathlessly. He looks around, sniffing the air. The air in the warehouse seems to drop a few degrees in mere seconds. "I can't be in Nijryuu if a human like you doesn't recognize what I am."
“It’s a shame you’ve come to think this way.” Arian gripped Shiro’s wrist, pulling him closer with it. “Because my name and the blood on my hands is a secret I’m tired of you keeping for me.” That’s when Shiro feels the blade pierce through his stomach, but the pain of being betrayed by his child hurts worse than the wound ever could.
After that moment, Shiro’s memory is a blur. He remembers an explosion of light, and then falling, hard. On unforgiving concrete, in an unfamiliar building built with architecture he had never seen before, with an open space full of boxes. After that, he blacked out, and when he woke he was in dragon form in a pool of his own blood, with sunlight shining on him from a hole in the roof. Having no idea how long he’d been laying there, he was forced to pull the long blade out carefully with his forelegs and claws, so that he could start to heal properly. He throws the blade aside and snarls in a mix of pain, and grief. That’s when he hears the sound of something glass being kicked.
Shiro immediately lifts his head and sniffs the air, smelling a human. He immediately starts to crawl away from the pool of blood, bleeding sluggishly from the wound and dripping a trail as he tries to hide behind a shipping crate.

Merlin laughs it off even as he shakes his hand as though the swat stung. Not like it actually did, considering this wasn’t his real body.
Even if he couldn’t physically leave Avalon in any way other than this, Merlin would never do something like this if his body was here. But that wasn’t the case, so he could afford to get really curious about that cane and be obnoxious about it.
“Sorry about that, I just couldn’t help but get really excited when I noticed how interesting your cane looks! It sure does seem like a magical object, and I happen to love studying those!”
“So tell me? What can it do?”
NON - SEXUAL ACTS OF DOMINANCE .

[ reverse swat ] your muse swatting mine’s hand away from something they’re not supposed to touch. (Merlin)
The pop and crack of radio feedback was enough to leave a palpable taste in the other’s mouth. Static pouring off his form in waves. Now, it wasn’t odd for there to be the occasional mannerless fool to attempt and touch him without his permission. They always did seem to have a second death wish. But that rule didn’t apply here. Especially with this one’s appearance. Terribly human with the taste of magic in the air around him. As mortal as someone with his appearance could be. There were no animalistic or otherwise ill-fitted features to speak of. Completely, and utterly normal in contrast to the red devil that stood before him.
Alastor reaches up, swatting at the other’s hand and moving his cane just out of their reach. Twirling it as it went from one hand to the next, and came to rest in the crook of his arm. It wasn’t his form they had touched, but it was still rude. “Can I help you?”

❰❰ MEDIC ❱❱ sender bandages receiver’s wounds (Shiro, either verse)
It had been a rough night for the chimera. He'd gone looking for trouble- he'd gotten word that one of his father's associates was hiding out in Central. Despite his best efforts to slip past the guards under the concealment of nightfall and his quiet steps, the man had noticed him and gotten a few shots in just as Shiro tried to kill him. He'd managed to deal the man some blows with his claws in return, gouging his face open. Then the man slammed Shiro's head into the desk. But then the guards showed up and cut his time and efforts short, forcing him to flee before he could finish the job.
Without really thinking about where he was going, Shiro ended up on Ed's doorstep, covered in blood. Some splatter on his face, lots of blood on his hands that both was and wasn't his. He'd been nicked by one shot against the ribs and hit by another in the shoulder, clean through. Both missed his vitals, but his clothes were still stained, and he was still bleeding sluggishly.
So now he found himself sitting on the former alchemist's couch with his shirt off. Ed had insisted on taking care of his wounds.
"Sorry, darling, I know this is a mess." He feels bad about dragging Ed into more of his problems. But the former alchemist was apparently the first person he thought of when he tried to find somewhere safe.
