Important homemaking skills that aren’t cooking, baking, or sewing:
First Aid and CPR (for adult, child, and infant)
This is especially good if you plan to live out in the country away from most modern conveniences! We want to make sure we’re well equipped to care for our family if something really bad happens. My personal goal is to get First Aid and CPR certifications within the next couple of years.
Foraging
Learn your local wild flora and get to finding wild, nutritious, tasty treats for your family. This is a really fun one too and there’s tons of apps to help you identify plants. I personally use Picture This as well as the numerous articles online to help me.
Cheesemaking
This is sort of in the cooking realm, but highly overlooked. People tend to find it intimidating, but a lot of cheeses are simple with the right equipment. This is especially good if you want a dairy cow in the future. Start out with a simple mozzarella recipe and you’ll be on your way!
Water purification
This one I’m still in the process of learning about, but if worst came to worst, water is the most important resource to have. There are all sorts of different water purification systems to look into and you can kind of drag yourself down a rabbit hole.
Canning
A very common one, but still very important. There’s tons of resources on it! Your grandma might even know a thing or two.
Gardening
Whether it’s pretty flowers or an entire vegetable garden you want to grow, homemakers should know the basics of growing our little green friends.
Conversational/social graces
My husband works in a job where he needs to impress powerful people. Part of that is bringing me along to lunches and dinners where I get all dolled up. By smiling, being polite, and reflecting well on my husband, these men gain a major respect for him. And speaking as a naturally very shy person, most people love to hear themselves talk, so most the time a good smile and nod is all you need in a conversation.
Home decor
Learn what you like in a home. Make your home a place you actually want to be. Be idealistic and plan your home out to be a beautiful, warm safe space for all who come in.
Manners
There’s a time and a place for messiness, but there is also a time for calm. Learn some old style manners. It gives off a level of charm rarely seen today.

Safety advice for SAHGFs
1. Have a finished degree
Babes, please don’t drop out of school, university or college to become a spoiled girlfriend or a homemaker.
I don’t care what career you’re currently pursuing but don’t stop until you’ve finished your degree.
2. Make sure that you have health insurance at all times
Don’t be stupid, all it takes is one accident and you'll need an ambulance ride to the emergency room. It's also important to get regular check ups at the doctors office and you don’t want to pay for everything on your own.
Never play around when it comes to your health.
3. Have an exit plan
I know, it is weird to think about leaving your partner but it's necessary that you have an exit plan if things get unbearable.
You don’t need to have it completely planned out with hotel phone numbers but you should roughly know who you would call and where you would go in the case of an emergency.
4. Have your own savings
One of my rules is that my partner never gets 100% access to my bank account. He doesn’t know the exact number of my savings and he doesn’t need to know.
If you don’t have any money in your name – stay working until you have emergency money or be honest with your partner and tell him, that in order for you to feel comfortable, he needs to transfer some money into your account. Don’t budge on that.
5. Keep your documents safe
Don’t keep your birth certificate or social security number and other important documents in a shared safe with your partner until marriage.
I don’t care how much you trust them. If you have to leave you need those documents.
6. Stay social
Yes, every couple has a honeymoon phase but try to keep your family and friends close. Those people know you very well and might be able to see signs of abuse before you do.
Always listen to their concerns and reflect them with yourself when you got the time for it.
Most people are concerned when young women decide to stay at home because it makes us very vulnerable to abuse.
Be honest with yourself and if you see signs that your partner tries to shield you from family or friends who are asking questions – get the hell out of the relationship.
It’s a) never okay to shield your partner from their social contacts and b) instead, they should try their best to assure your family and friends that you’re safe with them.
Never dismiss your families or friends concerns for your well-being, reassure them time over time that it is okay and that you actively chose this lifestyle.
I actually have one family member that is my ride or die, I know that if something went wrong with my relationship, they would be there for me in a second and help me through it all.
7. Have emergency money that you can spend immediately
Sometimes it takes a few days to withdraw a larger amount of money from your bank account. I personally have an account that doesn’t have a set limit but I know people who do.
It's important that you can spend the money immediately when you need it. Millions in your bank account are worth nothing if you can’t use the money in an emergency situation.
Maybe even think about hiding cash somewhere safe.
8. Don’t live above your means
I think this one is kind of self explanatory. If you’re a normal person and your partner is too – you can’t throw out money left and right.
It is possible to be a homemaker even if your partner isn’t rich.
However, make sure that you know the limits – it is actually very easy. If you want to go on an international vacation three or four times a year, stay working yourself. The same applies to shopping.
For me it is simply – working was very exhausting due to a high pressure work-field and I was always burned out. I made decent money but it wasn’t worth it for me. I rather stay at home, take care of all the chores and maybe buy less clothes, than start working again in my field (at least full-time and for now).

This is true. No plan is without flaws and it is so important to still stay open for new possibilities.
Working harder on the things that are not working, is not going to make them work.
Simply putting in more effort into a flawed plan or method won't necessarily lead you to success. It's essential to reassess, adapt, and pivot when necessary.
People believe that by simply putting in more hours or effort, they can overcome any obstacle. While working hard is commendable, and in certain cases, it's important that make sure that the effort is directed in the right direction.
When we are faced with challenges, its important to be flexible and willing to change tactics. This might mean re evaluating your goals, or your strategy towards it. You need to be able to adapt to situations and have honest conversations with yourself about what is not working. Without allowing yourself to be open to feedback, either from yourself or others, you are going down a path of wasted effort.
The Sunk Cost Fallacy is an idea that because you have invested time, effort or money into something, that you should continue doing it, even when you are not getting results. It's important to recognize when to cut losses and pivot to a more effective strategy.
Sometimes, the solution isn't about working harder but thinking differently. It is about working smarter, not just harder.

How to skin
Hey babes,
today I want to talk about skin. Our skin – especially the skin in our face – is one of the first things that we recognize in another person.
This is the reason why it is so important to have clean and vibrant looking skin. Your skin color doesn’t matter as long as it is healthy looking and free of pimples.
Clear skin is a universal sign for good health and it can elevate the look of a person completely.
Us humans tend to find other people more attractive if they have good skin – it’s something in our genes.
Personally, I’m blessed with good skin – I never had acne as a teenager, only some lonely pimples right before my period would start.
However, when my gynecologist put me on the pill when I was around 19 years old I suddenly developed acne and it was horrible. That’s when I started to take my skincare very serious and made a ton of research that I want to share with you.
Disclaimer: I am not a dermatologist. Those are simply my experiences and what I’ve learned over the years.
Why do we even get pimples?
A very short summary: we get pimples, because sebum is clogging our pores and bacteria starts to grow in the pore which makes it inflamed.
Is it my fault that I get pimples? Am I not clean enough?
Yes and no.
Yes – there might be people who are experiencing acne just because they don’t cleanse their face good enough. However that’s something that happens very rarely.
Most people with acne wash and clean their face more often and more thoroughly than the average person.
If you experience heavy acne, don’t try to treat it at home. Instead, seek out a dermatologist to see if the acne is fungal.
I would also recommend getting blood-work done to see if the acne is hormonal.
If you never had acne and suddenly get pimples all over your face it could also be because of your birth control, especially if your birth control is hormonal.
Like I said before, I suddenly developed acne after my gynecologist put me on the pill. The reason for that was that the pill had gestagen in it which is similar to progesterone.
Progesterone is basically stimulating the skin to produce more oils and sebum – pores get clogged more easily and pimples form.
Diet also plays a big part in acne. Personally, I don’t see a difference if I leave out dairy or gluten but some people almost see an immediate effect.
I wouldn’t recommend just stopping consuming gluten and dairy one day, please speak to your doctor beforehand.
Instead, try to limit your sugar and fat intake first before you start to take drastic actions.
My acne is neither hormonal nor fungal, what can I do?
Having a healthy skin-barrier is the key to having clean and vibrant looking skin!
Most of us fell victim to Clearasil and other harsh drugstore products in our youth. I remember slathering my face with a 3 in 1 face wash, face mask and peeling once and my skin was red for days. At that time I didn’t know that the products were simply way to harsh for the skin on my face and wondered why it didn’t work as good as in the commercials.
If you’re just starting out with your skincare journey, here are a few tips that you should consider when you pick out products and a routine:
- a healthy skin-barrier should be your first priority. Everything else can be addressed later on.
- all the products for your face should be fragrance free or contain very little fragrance.
- stick to your routine for at least one month before changing it
- introduce new products one after one and take your time to do so
How does a good basic skincare routine look like?
You don’t need thousands of products in the beginning, keep it simple and gentle.
A good routine could look like this:

Step 1: use a gentle cleanser to wash your face in the morning. Nothing too heavy. I like to use a foam cleanser for this.
Step 2: use a hydrating toner and apply it with your hands, so you get the most out of your product.
Step 3: while your face is still damp with the toner, apply a hyaluronic acid serum. Never put hyaluronic acid on dry skin, it won’t do anything.
Step 4: wait for the hyaluronic acid to sink into your skin and apply a hydrating face cream all over your face. Do this even if your skin is oily – it still needs moisture.
Step 5: apply sunscreen all over your face and neck. Sunscreen is essential, especially if you use exfoliants.

Step 1: use a cleansing oil or cleansing balm in the evening. This is to remove your makeup and sunscreen from your face.
Step 2: use a gel cleanser and massage your skin for at least one minute. It’s important that you cleanse every small part of your face. Especially tricky is the skin around your nostrils and on your chin.
Step 3: again, use a hydrating toner and apply it with your hands.
Step 4: apply a thick face cream all over your face, best is something with panthenol.
What are the things that I should avoid?
- touching your face with dirty hands. Always wash your hands before you cleanse in the morning and in the evening. Avoid touching your face with your hands during the day.
- stop picking at pimples. I know – it’s frustrating, but the more you pick on your spots, the more inflamed they get. There also is a danger of you spreading around all that bacteria with your hands and possibly getting scars.
- Never ever use physical exfoliators in the face. They damage your skin with micro cuts that you can’t see with your eyes and damage more than they help. Always look for chemical exfoliators!

Doing your part in a relationship
Hey babes,
it’s Monday – a new, fresh week and the ultimate opportunity to make some changes.
I don’t know why it feels so much better to start a new routine on a Monday than it does on a random Wednesday.
I took some time after I posted my last two posts and really thought about the relationship dynamic between my man and me.
I thought about changes that I would like to make and what could help us to become a better couple.
Honestly, I was pretty shocked after all my thinking because it turns out that my man is the rock in this relationship and I am not sure why he is still sticking around when he could probably do so much better.
But let me explain:
I gave up working in my full-time job around January 2023 and have been home ever since then.
My man was aware that I was totally burned out from my job and offered me that I could stay at home and take care of the household chores.
Previously we used to split the chores around the house roughly 50/50. It was very fair and in some weeks he did more than me and some weeks I did more than him, like it’s in every relationship.
I would say that I am fairly good at housekeeping. I know how to cook, how to clean and how to do laundry.
However – I never before was responsible for everything. From going grocery shopping and planning meals to cleaning the bathrooms every week – suddenly all of this was on me.
I struggle really bad with organizing myself, this was one of the reasons why I was so burned out from my previous job, and I started slacking.
I would do the laundry one day and take three days before I started folding it. My man literally had no underwear one time and flipped out because that’s obviously disgusting and instead of improving – I started to get mad at him.
It wasn’t only the laundry, it also began affecting my cooking – which I loved doing before – and I would start making only frozen meals or just serving cold meat cuts with bread.
We started fighting a lot more because my man was sad, that instead of relaxing at home he would need to help me with my chores – after a full workday.
I had my epiphany a few weeks ago (when I made this blog) and realized that my man has every right to be mad at me. He does his job. I am not.
So, let’s see – my man works really though hours. He leaves the house early in the morning and comes home in the early evening. He’s usually stressed because his job is very demanding and he is responsible for a lot of people.
Imagine coming home to your girlfriend, who’s staying at home, and almost nothing is done. The fridge isn’t restocked, the floor is dirty and there is no food. After your shower you realize that you have no fresh underwear because your girlfriend didn’t wash any.
I would flip out too.
My behavior was/is borderline disrespectful and I am honestly ashamed because of it. I would have broken up with me if I was him.
But here we are – still together and I don’t plan on dodging this second chance.
I think many girls that want the lifestyle of a spoiled girlfriend or a stay at home girlfriend don’t realize how hard it is to organize a whole household on your own.
Yes, there might be some men out there that are so rich that they don’t mind employing staff to help around the house, but I don’t think that this is achievable for a woman in her twenties without having various high value connections in the right circles. At least I don’t have those connections.
I am responsible for keeping the house clean, making food and going grocery shopping. That takes maybe 5 hours of my day and the rest of the time I can do whatever I want.
My man only wants to come home to a clean, organized house with a stocked fridge and possibly a hot meal on the stove.
Honestly – he is the one that is working his ass off every day, not me.
The worst is, that I even started to neglect my appearance. I used to shave every second day and that slowly progressed to only once a week. I used to color my hair religiously and worked out at least three times a week.
Now I haven’t touched up my hair in over three months, my roots are disgusting and I am very ashamed because of it. I mean, even though my man pays for my beauty appointments – I couldn’t get my ass up.
However, I cleaned our whole house today. From the bottom to the top. It’s spotless. I did laundry and went grocery shopping and I made a plan on how to maintain all of those things.
I won’t share the plan just yet because I want to make sure that I can actually follow it before I share it with you.
What should you take with you after reading this rant?
Be careful that you’re always a responsible partner. Don’t be like me. If you’re telling your partner that you plan on doing something – actually follow through and do it. Don’t disappoint them all the time.
Make sure that you acknowledge what they do for you and thank them for it every once in a while.
It is unattractive to be lazy and not being able to keep up with your standards. It’s unfair to your partner to let yourself go and they have every right to be upset about it.
Think before you speak and start an argument. Are you really right? Is it worth to start an argument about something that is your responsibility?
I mean, my man made it clear in the beginning: If I want to stay at home and live a cozy life – I have to take care of the house while he works and provides for us both.
He does his part of the agreement. Every single day.
I’ve only done my part of the agreement when I felt like it and that is not okay. But I am changing and I know that he has already forgiven me for all the hassle.

When we possess this self belief, we inherently trust our judgment and skills, regardless of external opinions. Many people look for external validation, leading to emotional vulnerability. If your sense of self-worth is tied to external validation, you become more susceptible to criticism or negative feedback. However, when someone is genuinely confident, they often don't rely on external validation. They perceive challenges or negative feedback as growth opportunities rather than personal affronts. This mindset stems from a strong internal locus of control, where you believe your actions can influence outcomes. This confidence brings a lot of benefits, such as diminished fear of failure, better decision making skills, and healthier relationships.

15 Productivity Hacks 💻💭📝💡
Use the Pomodoro Method. Work in focused intervals (typically 25 minutes) followed by a short break. This helps you maintain high levels of focus and gives regular breaks to rest.
If a something takes less than two minutes, do it immediately.

How to be attractive to men and my goals
Hey babes,
like I said – I want to incorporate RPT (Red Pill Theories) into my daily life immediately.
A few things that every women within the community seemed to be content with were:
1. You are never finished with glowing or leveling up. Never stop learning. Never stop trying to better yourself.
2. Pretty privilege is real.
I agree that pretty privilege is very real. I mean, I get affected by pretty people like everybody else, even if I don’t do it on purpose. It’s just something that is ingrained in our brains and I need to learn how to take this to my advantage.
I think I have a decent starting base, because I’m a skinny white woman in her twenties with long blonde hair. I am not really tall – even short men are at least 5-7cms taller than me – but I’m also not extremely short.
I have a petite frame but my body-shape is something between an hourglass and a peach. My face is average – I don’t really have striking features or am a natural beauty model – but my features also aren’t hideous. It’s really just something you can look at without thinking too much.
On a scale, I would rate myself a 5,5-6/10 on an average day and I guess that’s great!
But how can I make myself look better on a daily basis? I really took hours to research how I could make myself more attractive to wealthy and high value men.
Obviously, no man is like the other and every man prefers something different. One man might like tattoos and piercings while another man with the same social status thinks they are hideous. I don’t want to completely change who I am and I don’t want to spend thousands of dollars for it.
However, I really like this whole clean girl and old money aesthetic that is going viral on Tiktok right now – and I think those two aesthetics could fit me and my personality really well.
Most wealthy men seem to like this traits in women:
1. great skin without obvious pimples or enlarged pores
2. long and healthy hair in a natural color
3. straight white teeth
4. clean nails on both hands and feet
5. hairless legs, armpits and at least trimmed pubic hair
6. wearing clean and wrinkle free clothes without any holes
7. wearing a nice smell that is fitting to your overall appearance
I think those are the basics and they can be achieved by almost anyone. If you can’t afford braces make sure that your teeth are always perfectly brushed and that you’re keeping up with your dental hygiene in general.
In fact – if you have problems affording certain beauty procedures, research how to get as close as possible to them with DIYs.
For years, I always wanted to be the mysterious woman in the room. The woman with a dark aura, the woman that doesn’t speak much and remains most of her life a secret.
Well, I am not this woman even if I’m trying very hard. It would be an act that I would put on and I am sure that everyone in the room would notice.
I am naturally very bubbly and I love having conversations with people in general. I would also say that I have a broad knowledge on different topics and that I’m able to talk to almost everyone.
I am also very welcoming and I enjoy making people laugh and have fun in my presence. I tend to have strong opinions and I’m not afraid to take on a discussion.
With everything that I know about myself now, I made some points that I need to tackle in order to level up:
1. stop oversharing. Being bubbly is great but not everyone needs to know everything about my business. Sometimes it’s just better to be silent and to listen.
2. start with exercise again. I am happy with my weight but I am extremely weak and I have almost zero muscle mass. My breath is getting heavy if I have to take the stairs and my legs start to hurt after roughly 15 minutes of walking. I plan on going for a walk every day and doing pilates 3x a week.
3. start doing my hair and makeup again. My hair is long and blonde – so it is an eyecatcher. It’s also very healthy but I usually just throw it up in a bun or in a clawclip, so no one is really seeing it. I have multiple styling tools at home and I need to start using them. The same applies to makeup. I have so much great stuff that looks really beautiful and natural but I am just too lazy to use it. I plan on taking 20 minutes every day to do my makeup and to suck it up – because I usually always do a double cleanse at night, so it’s not really a struggle to take it off in the evening. It’s just inconvenient in the morning.
4. taking better care of my skin and of my dental health. I have high quality skincare and I love doing my skincare but sometimes I’m just too lazy. Let me just say that it doesn’t happen often – but still too much for my liking. Also my dental health – I need to make a dentist appointment asap. I think the last time I went was around 3 years ago!
5. buying better fitting clothes. I don’t like shopping for clothes but it is what it is. Right now I only have cute lounge sets for being at home but when I go out I usually only wear jeans with a basic top and sneakers. I want to look more polished and feminine. I want to stop wearing jeans and focus more on pants, skirts and dresses. Also literally any other shoes than sneakers.
6. go out more. I’m your typical homebody. Movie night? Reading a book? Ordering food? Count me in! I always have fun when I go out but I’m still mostly at home and I want to change that. I want to have a group of like minded friends that want to hang out with me. Maybe even at home. Lol.
I really thought hard about those six points but I think those are the first things that I need to tackle down.
In the end – I was asking myself: what could I do to feel the most comfortable with spontaneous outgoings and meeting new people?
It came down to wanting to look my best. Obviously. I want to make a good first impression and maybe even profit off of pretty privilege.
I’m sure we all know those times when we’re dressed like slobs and suddenly an opportunity to go out arises and we decline because it would take hours to get ready.
That’s the reason why I want to get ready in the morning – so I would only need to touch up if anything came up.

Best advice to give someone in early 20’s
Don't fall victim of FOMO. Most of the "fun" activities you see advertised on social media or by the greater youth culture are detrimental to your growth as a person and will pay back in negative ways later on: partying, consuming alcohol/drugs, being promiscuous, recklessly spending money traveling and buying food, etc.
Instead use your precious youth working on layering the foundations for your life and growing as person, focus on:
• Gaining financial literacy
• Acquire proper manners and etiquette to best blend in with important people and be taken more seriously in business settings or formal gatherings
• Learn how to properly dress and keep a prudent demeanor. Avoid at all costs replicating the fast fashion trends of social media and the culture of neurotic impulsivity many of your age peers may have
• Work hard to overcome childhood traumas that keep you from properly interact with other and affect your own self-image
• Build valuable connections from people who can mentor you
• Be active networking with people who are in similar professional or interests groups as you to have connections for future projects
• Spend your time reading self development books and applying the learned concepts into your life
• Work hard and learn to invest your money, prioritize exercise and proper dieting to keep your vitality high, your health and help you preserve your youth.
• Acquire transferable skills that you can use in different scenarios such as: learning how to sell, learning multiple languages, improving your emotional intelligence, etc.
Despite what the world might try to yell you your 20s are the most important years of your life, wasting them doing futile hedonistic and irresponsible activities may feel comfortable in the moment but let me assure you will pay the price for your actions sooner or later. Be conscious of your youth and use your time and resources as wisely as possible so that you may have a life of success, greatness and fulfilment. Plant the seed now, your future self will be thank you later.

I am always picking a mentor's brain every chance I get. This particular woman has a loving and healthy marriage that is pretty much bulletproof. I asked her about marriage maintenance. Here are a few things I gathered from our conversation:
The grass is greener where you water it. Most couples wait until things get bad to reach out for support during their marriage. When things are going great, marriage counseling (or similar activity) should be incorporated so that the good things you do for each other continue to happen.
Feeling appreciated can turn someone's day around or make it even better. Sometimes, we forget to show appreciation because our partner should be doing those things. Showing appreciation for the little and big things anyway makes a difference.
In the grand scheme of things, it's usually the smallest gestures that make a partner feel the most loved. Maybe he always picks up your favorite pastry when you run out, and you take 5 minutes to snuggle him in the morning before you start your day. Do not underestimate these gestures. When they stop, it's an indicator that things are going in the wrong direction.
Most couples think that they don't have to intentionally set time aside and purposely schedule date nights. Before they know it, their busy schedules fill up, and it's been weeks or months since they have had fun in each other's presence without bringing up the stressful subjects of adulthood. There should be some sort of cadence of date nights that we are excited about and look forward to as a couple where you can be silly, relaxed, or simply make fun memories. This usually brings out the person they fell in love with the most and helps maintain the chemistry.
