how is it not one person is talking about the Ghost Post in dead boy detectives. imagine being such a mailman in your life that you continue doing it into the hereafter. no eternal rest while there’s mail to deliver. other ghosts don’t know why or how you do it. you are arcane to even the occult

all day in and out you just show up places and shout MAIL CALL and then say vaguely ominous things like “Mail gets delivered wherever you go” and before disappearing into the built in bookshelf. i want this job so bad

Just bingewatched Dead Boy Detectives.

I'm so, so happy! It has humor, horror, love of all sorts, fantastic music and all of the little "Neil Gaiman factors" that make me obsessed 🤓 (some of the tropes, love of mythology, queerness…)

The characters are great. I adored everyone I should (and probably a couple of characters who I shouldn't, ha) and was truly on the edge of my seat during the last chapter. Very rewarding and rewatchable!!

I've been defeated by my local bureaucracy, and I won't be able to travel to Portugal in three weeks, as was my original plan. I've already cried and gave myself a full day to process the fact that I'll have to do a whole bunch of paperwork if I want to recover my passport, or that I'll have to resign to any possibility of international travel just to protect my mental health from the multitude of changes that the "correction" they are asking for at the Passports Office would require.

I never intended to be a Kafkaesque character, but here I am, being Mr. K.

Hi!! Sorry for taking so long, I had a very busy week and a half with work related stuff sucking out every free minute and life joy (ha) but, as Crowley would say, "I'm baCK". *twirls*

4. what is (if you read) your favorite good omens longfic? (I'm answering this because you asked for fics... Take this as a bonus).

I believe I can read and reread "Stalwart Sun, Wily Moon" time and time again, it is one hell of an AU. "Too Wise To Woo Peaceably" is probably one of my "post S2" favorites (the way Muriel acts in that fic is my absolute headcanon).

5. what is (if you read) your favorite good omens one-shot?

I am the worst at reading one-shots, I'm always craving for more 🙈 However, the collections of ficlets that evolve into a whole new mythology written by Ghostinthehouse are absolutely lovely. "Demon and Angel Professors" is a total must-read. As a faitful admirer of the works of Feral but Fluffy, Give a Man a Mask is also a very, very delightful work.

6. who is your favorite side character?

From the book and season 1, I believe it is Madame Tracy. She is adorable and so, so happy to go with the flow with every shenanigan that happens... From season 2, I'm very partial to Muriel, who is a literal angel.
