The wildest thing about Burrow's End, is that if Viola had used her Divine Sense even once, she would've had the most horrifying realisation

They had to know it worked before the moment they actually needed it. Blow a city out of the sky, permakill a druid’s entourage. Whatever it takes.
Keyleth can handle herself fine in most situations and she’s well guarded. If they attacked Keyleth without the poison, it would have meant lower stakes and maybe the Champion of Ravens wouldn’t even show. Maybe they tried that at some point as an earlier test.
They had to make a real assassination attempt, full out, to get his attention. But also in a way that would be difficult to connect back to the Ruby Vanguard. Otahan’s echo nights and the poison worked.
There’s certainly a ruthlessness held in common here.
Something about how Aeor, on the eve of the Calamity, was planning on just... straight up testing a weapon on another city with no apparent provocation, and then a millennium later the Vanguard kills six people on a test run and specifically makes it impossible to resurrect them for no apparent reason

I thought Fabian’s birthday was at the beginning of the school year? He turned 18 and got his bank account, the pirates in barrels who sing to him, and some gifts from his mom on her way out of town.
Is this Time Quangle stuff, or did I misunderstand?

First player to find him wins. The set is booby trapped and a glitter bomb will go off if the timer runs out. The crew are asking everyone to PLEASE not let the set get glittered. There are no hidden loop de loops with clues but people ARE looking for them. Lou is in his cowboy outfit for no apparent reason. Brennan is trying to decode something in Elvish. It’s not a clue. Zac keeps walking through with fresh spaghetti. This is all a bad dream but we are not sure whose.
Samuel Dalton has been here the whole time. Sam Reich has been tied up in a closet somewhere since the green room episode last season.

I love that they had a last minute replacement and unlike Bingo, where it was important to make the change as seamless as possible, it was much funnier to leave the script mostly unchanged and just update a few details in post. So that’s what they did.
Today Grant is played by Zac, do your best Grant Zac.

grant being replaced but them still having his name in the script so much so that we have zac playing grant is killing me

Approximate timeline:
The original Crown Keepers were together around 3 months during EXU (late 842 PD to early 843 PD).
Bells Hells met around mid 843 (17 Brussendar specifically). In 3x01, Orym, Fearne, and Dorian have known each other for about 6 months or so.
Dorian hasn’t seen the rest of the Bells Hells since episode 14. He spent about 12 days with them (17-28 Brussendar 843 PD). It’s now something like 3-4 months later?
It’s been a few weeks since the apogee solstice (21-23 Fessuran). Maybe only a couple of weeks? At this point time feels fuzzy.

Bells Hells: omg Dorian! We missed you so much! Please kiss Orym we cannot stand the suspense. Um, we have bad news, FCG is dead and we went to the moon and Imogen’s mom is evil and Fearne’s dad is evil but maybe in a cool murder way and Delilah is making Laudna eat people and
Orym: 😭🥺
Dorian: STAND BACK LOLTH HAS REGAINED CONTROL. OPAL WE ARE NOT LETTING HER TAKE YOU. DARIAX GET OVER HERE.
(terrifying spiders everywhere)
Orym/Fearne: oh no
Bells Hells: what the FUCK

I like to think when the decision was made to cut to the Crown Keepers, Matt asked Liam in advance to end the first half by reaching out to Dorian. And Liam was immediately like, oh yeah Orym’s in a VERY BAD place right now, maximum angst, 25 words, you got it.
Tumblr media
Making this the thumbnail is so unhinged. Orym in a sense as the force that is going to bring these two groups of people together. Orym reaching out to Dorian with such fervor and pain, begging him, begging the universe to bring him back because he needs Dorian’s comfort so badly that narratively we have no choice but to turn toward the crown keepers and watch their journey (hopefully) back to him.
I’m unwell

Dorian is a delightful character. He’s clearly grabbed onto the freedom of adventuring with both hands and is learning how to be his own person as he goes. Orym was his moral compass early on and now he is Dariax’s. The Crown Keepers have been through a lot of shit together off screen, and it shows.
I really hope we get to see the Silken Squall someday. What we know about Dorian’s backstory so far is really intriguing. The ruling family of an roving sky city is missing BOTH its princes after raising them in what sounds like a very deliberately isolating and controlling environment. And there was that bit about how running away and returning is a tradition in the family, but their parents have omitted that information?
It’s particularly hilarious that Cyrus is the heir. Can you imagine traveling across Exandria to petition Cyrus and his future spouse for extremely important advice? Cyrus, who is doggy paddling a stolen sky raft and did not level up because that would require paying attention. Every single time Aabria or Matt reminds us he has the personality of a golden retriever, it is a gift.
(I hope we get exu and the crown keepers back so that Dorian can be his chaotic insane interesting idiot [affectionate] self and we can all stop treating him like he’s just a pretty boy for Orym to pine after) *sent with invisible ink*

Raising two middle fingers to the sky and bellowing I WILL NEVER DIE is Arthur Aguefort’s response to so many situations.
