Nya's design for my Scorched Au. Also this is my first time drawing Nya with her short hair so that's neat!

Nya's pretty important in this au. With Kai off doing his own thing, Nya ends up training to be a ninja/master of water WAY before she does so in canon since Wu thinks her abilities will be very useful. Which makes sense since you know, Kai is the master of fire. Having a master of water to deal with him would be pretty useful.

Although most of the time when fighting, Nya is trying her best to reason with Kai since she thinks if anyone can talk him down it's her. And while it's true that Nya's really the only one left that Kai cares about, he also sees the fact that Wu started training Nya as a way of replacing him which does not help his mindset at all.

Overall, it's complicated between these two. Obviously Nya doesn't like seeing all these places getting burnt down in Kai's path, but she also doesn't want to lose her brother. Meanwhile Kai doesn't want to hurt his sister, but he also wants to prove that he's good enough to be the Green Ninja so badly that he will burn down anything and anyone standing in his way.

I think what might be the funniest thing about this whole savemyboycole situation, apart from it turning into a copypasta, is that Cole still isnt, like, canonically gay. Its all still subtextual. Sure that subtext is about as subtle as a fire alarm, but there has never been any explicit confirmations that Cole and Geo are canon.

Like, most of the time homophobes go the route of simply denying or ignoring the subtext (as theyve apparently been doing for a decade, if they think Cole has been straight this whole time). But Cole and Geo are so incredibly gay that even the homophobes cant deny it. Im obsessed. I love it here.

Jay from Ninjago does not have amnesia. He has never had amnesia, and should never get amnesia. Nothing against amnesiacs, but he has had his memories for 10+ years. We all grew up with Jay and why would we let them change him for absolutely zero reason? The new writer should just create a new character with amnesia, not rewrite one of the best lego characters in history. Sign this petition if you agree that Jay should keep his memories. Once we reach a good amount of people who have signed, I will NOT contact the new writer on Instagram because that's really fucking rude and also I have better things to do

When I was going on my walk earlier today, my brain started comparing different Sonic and Ninjago characters and then thinking about who would win in a fight. I came up with a few examples but it initially just started because my brain was thinking about the Overlord and Mephiles which then turned into who would win in a fight between them. (Which maybe I'm just biased but I think Mephiles would be the winner there)

But yeah just wanted to ramble about that real quick because it's been on my mind all day lol

And yeah, that's what Oliver saw in the Phantasm Cave! If I really wanted to, I could analyze and dissect everything he sees in his vision but I will refrain (at least for now)

Also this was scene in the actual season was the first one that made me go "Oh yeah, I gotta do something with Oliver here". For the most part I try not to have AUs on the brain while watching something new but I also can't help it sometimes.
