MEMORIAL CAMPAIGN
Jesus Will End Crime
Jesus knows what it means to suffer because of crime and injustice. He was falsely accused, unlawfully beaten, unjustly tried, wrongfully convicted, and painfully executed. Though innocent, he willingly and unselfishly sacrificed “his life as a ransom in exchange for many.” (Matthew 20:28; John 15:13) Now, as King of God’s Kingdom, he will soon bring justice throughout the earth, ending crime once and for all.—Isaiah 42:3.
https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&pub=mrt&srcid=shareWe . . . gain life through him.—1 John 4:9.
In the late 19th century, a group of Bible students led by Charles Taze Russell began an intensive study of the Scriptures. They wanted to know the truth about the value of Jesus’ sacrifice and how his death should be commemorated. Today we benefit from their research. How so? Our eyes have been opened to the truth about Jesus’ sacrifice and what it accomplishes. (1 John 2:1, 2) We have also learned that the Bible holds out two hopes for humans who please God—immortal life in heaven for some and everlasting life on earth for others. We draw closer to Jehovah as we consider how much he loves us and how much we personally benefit from Jesus’ sacrifice. (1 Pet. 3:18) So like our faithful brothers of the past, we invite others to join us in observing the Memorial according to the pattern Jesus set. © 39 mins ago, Lucretia McCloud spiritual • teen • society • sad • pain • family

Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles,

Likewise, every good tree produces fine fruit,

A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit,

and perform many powerful works in your name?’
And then I will declare to them:
‘I never knew you!
Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’
“Therefore, everyone who hears these sayings of mine

Furthermore, everyone hearing these sayings of mine

And the rain poured down and the floods came and the winds blew

When Jesus finished these sayings,

How Can I “Know”?

'Falsely Called Knowledge'?
Our world ironically spins
harried children, women, and men
as hurricane winds of aspiring minds
and fluctuating trends
bend to breaking point
honest hearts
weakened,
yet hoping and praying
for communities
to mend
morally/or not
by radically
defending
'personal'
'righteous/unrighteous'
'laws/principles':
But, "why do you judge your brother?
Or why do you also look down on your brother?
For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.
For it is written: “‘As surely as I live,’
says Jehovah,
‘to me every knee will bend,
and every tongue will make open acknowledgment
to God.’”
So, then,
each of us will render an account for himself
to God.
"So, then,
let us pursue the things making for peace
and the things that build one another up."
"The faith that you have,
keep it to yourself
before God.
Happy is the man
who does not judge himself
by what he approves."
"Indeed, everything
that is not based on faith
is sin." Rom. 14:19, 22, 23.
For, "Faith
is the assured expectation
of what is hoped for,
the evident demonstration
of realities
that are not seen." Heb. 11:1.
So: "Let us consider one another
so as to incite to love and fine works". Heb. 10:24.
"Whatever you are doing,
work at it whole-souled as for Jehovah,
and not for men". Col. 3:23.
"Be rich in fine works,"
"be generous, ready to share".
"Arguments and debates about words"?
These things give rise to envy, strife, slander,
wicked suspicions, constant disputes about minor matters
by men who are corrupted in mind
and deprived of the truth".
"Guard what has been entrusted to you,
turning away from the empty speeches
that violate what is holy
and from the contradictions
of the falsely called “knowledge.” 1 Tim. 6:4, 5, 20.
For "the wisdom of this world
is foolishness with God,
for it is written:
“He catches the wise in their own cunning.” 1 Cor. 3:19.
Therefore: "Look out that no one takes you captive
by means of the philosophy and empty deception
according to human tradition,
according to the elementary things of the world
and not according to Christ".
"Carefully concealed in him
are all the treasures of wisdom
and of knowledge.
I am saying this so that no one may delude you
with persuasive arguments." Col. 2:8, 3, 4.
"Poor quality information will lead to poor decisions. Never underestimate the powerful effect that misleading information can have on your mind and heart. Consider what happened in Moses’ time when 10 of the 12 spies who were sent to explore the Promised Land brought back a bad report. (Num. 13:25-33) Their exaggerated and outrageous account completely disheartened Jehovah’s people. (Num. 14:1-4, 6-10) Instead of getting the facts and showing confidence in Jehovah, they chose to believe the bad report."

'What Are We To Say, Then?' (contest Christianity - Gilda Castillo)
"Look!
I am doing something new;
Even now
it is springing up.
Do you not recognize it?
I will make a way through the wilderness
And rivers through the desert."
"I will make rivers flow on the bare hills
And springs in the valley plains.
I will turn the wilderness into a reedy pool of water
And the waterless land into springs of water." Isa. 43:19; 41:18.
***
"“Who has first given to him, (God)
so that it must be repaid to him?”
Because from him and by him and for him
are all things."
"O the depth of God’s riches and wisdom
and knowledge!
How unsearchable his judgments are
and beyond tracing out his ways are!
For “who has come to know Jehovah’s mind,
or who has become his adviser?”" Rom. 11:33-36.
"But we do have the mind of Christ." 1 Cor. 2:16.
***
"Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort
grant you to have among yourselves
the same mental attitude
that Christ Jesus had". Rom. 15:5.
Yes, "Keep this mental attitude in you
that was also in Christ Jesus,
who, although he was existing in God’s form,
did not even consider the idea
of trying to be equal to God." Phil. 2:5, 6.
For did not Christ say, "‘I am going away
and I am coming back to you.’
If you loved me, you would rejoice
that I am going to the Father,
for the Father is greater than I am." John 14:28.
The One who "has made everything beautiful
in its time.
He has even put eternity
in their heart;
yet mankind will never find out
the work that the true God has made
from start to finish." Eccl. 3:11.
"How great your works are, O Jehovah!
How very deep your thoughts are!" Ps. 92:5.
" Look!
These are just the fringes of his ways;
Only a faint whisper has been heard of him!
So who can understand his mighty thunder?”"Job 26:14.
"God thunders with his voice in a wonderful way;
He does great things that are beyond our understanding." Job 37:5.
***
For did not Paul say: "I am telling the truth in Christ; I am not lying,... that I have great grief and unceasing pain in my heart.
For I could wish that I myself were separated from the Christ
as the cursed one for the sake of my brothers, my relatives according to the flesh, who are Israelites.
To them belong the adoption as sons and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the sacred service and the promises.
To them the forefathers belong,
and from them the Christ descended
according to the flesh." Rom. 9:1-5.
"All the generations, then, from Abraham until David were 14 generations; from David until the deportation to Babylon, 14 generations; from the deportation to Babylon until the Christ, 14 generations." Matt. 1:17.
But "not all who descend from Israel
are really “Israel.”
Neither are they all children
because they are Abraham’s offspring". Rom. 9:6, 7.
Was not said by "Ho·seʹa: “Those not my people
I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not loved, ‘beloved’;
and in the place where it was said to them,
‘You are not my people,’
there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’”" Rom. 9:25, 26; Hos. 2:23.
Why?
Because: "The stone that the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This has come from Jehovah;
It is wonderful in our eyes." Ps. 118:22, 23.
Why Christ Jesus, to the chief priests and Pharisees said:
"The Kingdom of God
will be taken from you
and be given to a nation
producing its fruits." Matt. 21:43.
"What are we to say, then?
That people of the nations,
although not pursuing righteousness,
attained righteousness,
the righteousness
that results from faith;
but Israel, although pursuing
a law of righteousness,
did not attain to that law.
For what reason?
Because they pursued it, not by faith,
but as by works.
They stumbled over the “stone of stumbling”;
as it is written:
“Look! I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling
and a rock of offense,
but the one who rests his faith on it
will not be disappointed.” Rom. 9:30-33.
No. As "the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says:
“Here I am laying as a foundation in Zion
a tested stone,
The precious cornerstone
of a sure foundation.
No one exercising faith will panic." Isa. 28:16.
***
Foreseen, "and look!
the Lamb standing on Mount Zion,
and with him
144, 000
who have his name
and the name of his Father
written on their foreheads."
"The 144, 000, who have been bought
from the earth.... These are the ones
who keep following the Lamb
no matter where he goes.
These were bought from among mankind
as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb, 2 Rev. 14:1, 3, 4.
Therefore, "You are all, in fact, sons of God
through your faith in Christ Jesus.
For all of you who were baptized into Christ
have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek,
there is neither slave nor freeman,
there is neither male nor female,
for you are all one
in union with Christ Jesus.
Moreover, if you belong to Christ,
you are really Abraham’s offspring,
heirs with reference to a promise." Gal. 3:26-29.
Yes, these 'chosen ones' "sing a new song,
saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals,
for you were slaughtered
and with your blood
you bought people
for God
out of every tribe and tongue
and people and nation,
and you made them to be
a kingdom and priests
to our God,
and they are to rule as kings
over the earth.” Rev. 5:9, 10.
***
"And I saw another angel flying in midheaven,
and he had everlasting good news
to declare to those who dwell on the earth,
to every nation and tribe and tongue and people.
He was saying in a loud voice:
“Fear God and give him glory,
because the hour of judgment by him has arrived,
so worship the One who made the heaven and the earth
and the sea and the springs of water.”
Another, a second angel, followed, saying:
“She has fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen,
she who made all the nations
drink of the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality!”
Another angel, a third, followed them, saying in a loud voice:
“If anyone worships the wild beast and its image
and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
he will also drink of the wine of the anger of God
that is poured out undiluted
into the cup of His wrath". Rev. 14:6-10.
***
So this is why "Isaiah cries out concerning Israel:
“Although the number of the sons of Israel
may be as the sand of the sea,
only the remnant will be saved.
For Jehovah will make an accounting
on the earth,
concluding it and cutting it short.”
Also, just as Isaiah foretold:
“Unless Jehovah of armies had left an offspring to us, we should have become just like Sodʹom, and we should have resembled Go·morʹrah.”" Rom. 9:27-20.
"For though your people, O Israel,
Are as the grains of sand of the sea,
Only a remnant of them will return.
An extermination has been decided on,
And justice will engulf them.
Yes, the extermination decided on by the Sovereign Lord,
Jehovah of armies,
Will be carried out in the entire land." Isa. 10:22, 23.
***
"And this good news of the Kingdom will be preached
in all the inhabited earth
for a witness to all the nations,
and then the end will come." Matt. 24:14.
***
"Another angel emerged from the temple sanctuary, calling with a loud voice to the one seated on the cloud:
“Put your sickle in and reap, because the hour has come to reap,
for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.”
And the one seated on the cloud thrust his sickle into the earth,
and the earth was reaped." Rev. 14:15, 16.
***
"And everyone
who calls on the name of Jehovah
will be saved;
For on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
there will be those who escape,
just as Jehovah has said,
The survivors whom Jehovah calls.”" Joel 2:32.
"For then I will change the language of the peoples
to a pure language,
So that all of them may call on the name of Jehovah,
To serve him shoulder to shoulder*.’" Zeph. 3:9.
(Or “worship him in unity.”)
"Those redeemed by Jehovah will return
and come to Zion with a joyful cry.
Unending joy will crown their heads.
Exultation and rejoicing will be theirs,
And grief and sighing will flee away." Isa. 35:10.
"Instead of shame you will have a double portion,
And instead of humiliation they will shout joyfully over their share.
Yes, they will possess a double portion in their land.
Everlasting rejoicing will be theirs." Isa. 61:7.
***
"What are we to say, then?
Is there injustice with God?
Certainly not!
For he says to Moses: “I will show mercy to whomever I will show mercy, and I will show compassion to whomever I will show compassion.”
So, then, it depends, not on a person’s desire or on his effort,
but on God, who has mercy.
For the scripture says to Pharʹaoh:
“For this very reason I have let you remain:
to show my power in connection with you
and to have my name declared
in all the earth.”
So, then, he has mercy on whomever he wishes,
but he lets whomever he wishes
become obstinate." Rom. 9:14-18.
***
"God, who is over all,
be praised forever. Amen."
"To him be the glory forever.
Amen." Rom. 9:5; 11:36.
***
"I am Jehovah.
That is my name;
I give my glory to no one else,
Nor my praise to graven images." Isa. 42:8.

(via 'A Great Crash')
'A Great Crash'Lunar eclipses,
blood moons
for centuries
inspire awe,
melt hearts
to creation draw;
do emotions sway.
Especially now-a-days
bodies travel long distances
to convene for these spectacles
during our historic "last days":
"But know this, that in the last days
critical times hard to deal with will be here.
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal,
having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness,
betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride,
lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God,
having an appearance of godliness
but proving false to its power;
and from these turn away." 2 Tim. 3:1-5.
Also, "know this,
that in the last days ridiculers will come with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires and saying:
“Where is this promised presence of his?
Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death,
all things are continuing exactly as they were from creation’s beginning.
For they deliberately ignore this fact,
that long ago there were heavens and an earth
standing firmly out of water and in the midst of water
by the word of God;
and that by those means
the world of that time
suffered destruction
when it was flooded with water.
But by the same word
the heavens and the earth that now exist
are reserved for fire
and are being kept until the day of judgment
and of destruction of
the ungodly people.”
For "Jehovah’s day
will come as a thief,
in which the heavens will pass away
with a roar, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved,
and earth and the works in it
will be exposed. 2 Pet. 3:3-7, 10.
(Earth as in people. As when: "All the earth
continued to be of one language and of one set of words." Gen. 11:1.)
"Look!
The day of Jehovah is coming,
Cruel both with fury and with burning anger,
To make the land an object of horror,
And to annihilate the land’s sinners
from it." Isa. 13:9.
"For this is what Jehovah says:
“The whole land will become desolate,
But I will not carry out a complete extermination." Jer. 4:27.
For: "Your faithfulness is through all generations.
You have firmly established the earth,
so that it continues to stand." Ps. 119:90.
"Listen! A report! It is coming!
A great pounding from the land of the north,
To make the cities of Judah desolate, a lair of jackals."
"Raise a signal toward Zion.
Seek shelter, and do not stand still,”
For I am bringing in calamity
from the north, a great crash." Jer. 10:22; 4:6.
***
"“But reports out of the east and out of the north
will disturb him,
and he will go out in a great rage to annihilate and to devote many to destruction.
And he will plant his royal tents between the grand sea and the holy mountain of Decoration;
and he will come all the way to his end, and there will be no helper for him." Dan. 11:44, 45.
***
"But you who suffer tribulation
will be given relief
along with us
at the revelation of the Lord Jesus
from heaven
with his powerful angels
in a flaming fire,
as he brings vengeance on those who do not know God
and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus.
These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment
of everlasting destruction (not eternal torment)
from before the Lord
and from the glory of his strength,
at the time when he comes to be glorified
in connection with his holy ones
and to be regarded in that day
with wonder
among all those who exercised faith,
because the witness we gave
met with faith among you." 2 Thess. 1:7-10.
For "there are new heavens and a new earth
that we are awaiting according to his promise,
and in these righteousness is to dwell." 2 Pet. 3:13.
***
"He will judge the lowly with fairness,
And with uprightness he will give reproof
in behalf of the meek ones of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth
And put the wicked to death with the breath of his lips.
Righteousness will be the belt around his waist,
And faithfulness the belt of his hips." Isa. 11:4, 5.
"For just as the lightning comes out of the east
and shines over to the west,
so the presence of the Son of man will be.
Wherever the carcass is,
there the eagles will be gathered together." Matt. 24:27, 28.
***
"“Immediately after the tribulation of those days,"
"The sun will be turned into darkness
and the moon into blood
Before the coming of the great and awe-inspiring
day of Jehovah." Joel 2:31.
Yes, "the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,
and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken." Matt. 24:29.
Are not international 'stars' dying
