👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 — how many people are in raleigh’s family? (plus a lot of other questions relating to family but im not writing all of them out) okay so!! he has his mother, Juliana Forys, and his father, James Carter. Raleigh originally was born with his father’s last name, but legally changed it to Forys before he joined the air force because, well, he hated his dad, didn’t he? He has a half-brother named Janusz on his mother’s side, and a half-sister on his father’s side. But she lives in American, along with the rest of his father’s family. I think Raleigh would definitely feel closer with his mother’s side of the family in Poland, but he still wouldn’t see any of them much. When he joined the airforce and eventually the taskforce, he, for the most part, left his family behind. I guess he found a new family in Aristide, right? And Adelina, maybe. Then he met his wife, Caroline, after Ari’s death, and that was really his only family from then on out.

🩸— what’s his blood type? O+, im pretty sure. he likes to donate occasionally ’cause his type is compatible with many people. Eh, what can i say, he’s got a bit of a complex for trying to save people.

🔶 — does he know cpr? does he have any other medical expertise? id like to think that he probably had to do a few mandatory health and safety training things, so he does know cpr. As for the other medical expertise? He observes. He knows basics from watching the medics , but he wouldn’t trust himself to do anything more than a quick stitch of a wound, even if he knows more than that - but in dire times he tries, like if there’s no medic around. Medical stuff would probably interest him post-Aristide though. I feel like after that there would be a few textbooks on bullet wounds and how to heal them on his bedside table.

🍃 — what was your ocs favourite subject in school? Sometimes i forget Raleigh was a kid at some point, but probably maths or science. i cant really think of a reason for this tbh.

🖤 — has he killed or seriously wounded anyone before? has he broken someone's heart and/or broken someone's trust? Okay so it’s a given that he would have killed people in the military, that’s his job. So we’re gonna ignore all that and focus on everything else. He *thought* about killing Graves a few times but never went through with it (cough. because he didn’t want to hurt Aristide, even in death. cough. because letting Graves live with the burden of killing his lover was enough of a punishment. cough.). But seriously harming someone? Yeah, he’s done that - once, when he was a kid. It was probably to his dad after an argument or something, and he regretted it afterwards because his mother was disappointed. He thought about this the first time he had to kill someone in the field. Has he broken someone’s heart? Hard to say, probably in his marriage with Caroline a few times. Does it count if they both don’t love each other anyways? As for the trust thing, i guess you could say Aristide during the court trial. Raleigh brought in the evidence, and their last conversation was Aristide losing trust in Raleigh so,,, yeah

💯: three facts…hm..you know all of these but!

- Aristide’s English is basic conversational and military talk, anything outside of that is a struggle for him, he’s a very clever man! He just, never really learnt it.

- He played the violin for two years and hated every second of it, he’d purposely hide himself away so he would get out of lessons.

- His favorite animal is a coyote, but he likes all canines.

🚫: does he drink or smoke?

yes for drinking, but more socially, no for smoking, maybe occasionally but never because he wants too, more to fit in to his surroundings.

💘: who/what is most important to him.

loyalty, to a T, that man is like a dog with how loyal he is, it's one of the most important things to him, it's what he lives by.

😊: what does he want out of life?

just being comfortable, and loved, he joined the military because it was a last resort, power was nice yeah, but it was never what he wanted, he wanted comfort and happiness.

🤔: what are some of his quirks/mannerisms?

good question, he talks very confidently even if he isnt feeling it, loyal to a T, he's laid back unless he has to be otherwise, he's the kind to play a mario kart game but threaten to kill you if he looses, with a lot of angry italian to go beside it, he is right handed but wanted to learn how to use both hands.

He is VERY cockney, not as much as Charles, but oh god it is absolutely there.

He enjoys reading! Mostly older literature, he likes listening to radio dramas too.

He has a cat called tilly, he found her in the alley outside the butchers and kept her.

🚫: does he drink or smoke?

yes, to both! he smokes cigarettes (though, if he's offered a cigar he won't say no, but if he doesn't smoke it, he'd sell it.) generally, and drinking is usually reserved for either times of stress or friday evenings.

💘: who/what is most important to him.

people he loves, he'd kill (and has) to protect the people he loves, even if the "person" he'd killed for previously was a cat, he did it anyway, don't let that man have either a partner or a child. (oh wait.)

😊: what does he want out of life?

he wanted to join the military originally and fight in the war but quickly gave up on that ideal when his mother fell sick, he considered joining the police for a while but eventually just settled on a butchers, he doesn't know what he wants out of life, living certainly, but nothing specific, he'd settle for a roof over his head.

🤔: what are some of his quirks/mannerisms?

i mentioned he had a thick accent? yes, well, if left unchecked he will talk very, very, quickly, utilizes a lot of slang, good luck getting anyone bar a few people to understand him, it's why he never works at the front, instead deals with the meat and the knives, he also clicks and whistles to get people's attention. he is left handed too !

🖊️ — does he have any tattoos? he has multiple! they’re all very sentimental/focused around things he cares most about. i feel like hes similar to ra and ari in the way he has an animal tattoo, but im not sure which one tbh. i feel like he probably has one or two small ones he impulsively picked while drunk though

🎄 — whats his fav holiday? probably christmas, hes basic and loves the excuse to see his family. he hates the tension in the room every time ra visits, but he misses his brother obviously. usually ends in arguments though

🎂 — when is his birthday/how old is he? hes older than ra by a few years, his birthday is probably november/december time - something wintery, yknow? honestly ive no idea for a set date of his birth, but i know hes probably older than ari by a year a two

🍔 — is he good at cooking/baking? basic meals in cooking, anything more and he needs a recipe or he will fuck it up. do not let this man bake.
