"I know where it's at, I just don't remember right now, yo. Someone woke me up from my way peaceful and relaxing slumber and now my brain is all discombobulated! And, also, that's none of your business! She doesn't even go to school here anymore." Chidori's eyebrows furrowed and twitched in a mild fit of annoyance.
"Of course I use it! I use it all the time!" Chidori snapped back in protest, seeming to take personal offense to the question. Geeze, it was like this guy was poking and prodding at one of her few insecurities. Like he knew. He probably did. He'd found out her weakness and now he was exploiting it! The girl narrowed her eyes at the thought, deciding instead to take out her annoyance on the cooking process itself, rather than the person behind it, for once.
"How long does this cooking jive usually take, anyway?" Chidori stared down the pan, as if that would make things go faster. Like she could set it all ablaze if she tried hard enough. Giving intimidating glances to things had gotten her pretty far in life, so it was worth a shot. And it was probably better than focusing all of her frustrations on the person who was offering to cook for her.
"Of course you don’t know. And who’s Suzu-chan, anyway?"
He rifled through the cabinet she had pointed to, finally emerging with a large, slightly dented saucepan. It looked… remarkably dusty.
"This’ll do, but… when was the last time you used this thing, Chidori? Have you ever?"
Shrugging, he got back to the matter at hand, rinsing the pan off before setting aside the chicken and oil. He snatched a towel, drying the pan before setting it on the stove and turning it on. Once he was satisfied the pan was dry, he covered the bottom in oil, letting it heat up.

"Wha--" A breathy gasp was interrupted by colliding lips. That was unexpected, but she wasn’t exactly in the position to complain. It wasn’t like Tohru was a terrible kisser. She’d had worse, but that wasn’t the concern. And there were concerns. Anything unexpected was a cause for concern, after all. Was he trying to one-up her somehow? Everyone has a game. What was this guy’s game?
Whatever it was, he sure as hell wasn't going to win it. Slowly pulling away from the kiss (if only gently were in her vocabulary) slender fingers moved to brush Tohru's bangs aside before moving in for a kiss of her own. There. She was in control of the situation now. As it should be. After a short moment, the girl's eyes fluttered open and snaked around the area--only to see that the people had moved on. No one was around anymore.
Were they even watching in the first place?

"What the heckie hey hay?! Don’t people know a good cover story when they see one?" Chidori groaned, pushing herself off of the boy as quickly as she had fallen on him, without so much as a warning. What a waste. Getting herself back on her feet, the girl brushed herself off and gave a wayward glance to her companion. Oh well. It wasn't like it was entirely a waste.
He really wasn't that bad of a kisser.
"Are you gonna get up or what? We still have a date to finish, last I checked." Chidori rested her hands on her hips, staring Tohru down with expectancy. It was more of a command than a question, really. A trained eye could detect the lightest of smiles, or a crack of softness in her stare; but, for the most part, she seemed just as inconsiderate as ever. It was going to be a long day.
۞ laughs a lot
Send me a ۞ for my muse’s reaction to your muse falling on top of them and kissing them.
((Oh boy))
Well, today’s pity date was simpler than most, albeit slightly less expensive for Tohru. For now, at least. He was walking with Chidori in the park, making quiet, peaceful conversation. But suddenly, she appeared to trip, falling into him. He caught her easily, and was about to ask what happened when she slipped her foot behind his leg, effectively tripping him. He fell backwards onto the grass, catching her on top of him. Her face wound up close to his, and he saw her smirk. So that’s what this is, huh? A publicity stunt… Very well. He could play along. Slipping an arm around her waist, he pulled her close, kissing her on the lips.

Chidori mulled over the response a few times in her head, trying to think of some way to turn it around, but coming up empty each time. The dude's logic was solid. Instead of actually addressing the issue and risk admitting defeat, Chidori instead opted to focus on the tail-end of the message.

She probably was going to send him over his message limit at this rate, but whatever. Serves the punk right! Being so rude. Did he not know who she was?
Chidori tilted her head in thought. Oh, duh. He didn't. ...Maybe that could be fun too.
Kaitou rolled his eyes as the next wave of messages flooded his phone. He shouldn’t have responded. He should have just blocked the number. But no, he had to be an ass about it, and now this person wouldn’t leave him alone.
[text to: bad decisions] I’m not really worried about what you plan to do. Why else would I bother to text you back with annoyed messages rather than threats? [text to: bad decisions] And I don’t feel you. I can’t feel you, and I don’t WANT to feel you. [text to: bad decisions] …Anyway, why don’t you just order pizza to be delivered or something? It’ll cost you a fortune, but then you can stuff your face and stop texting me.
