i do not know how he makes me feel so many feelings but i have decided that what makes his stuff feel so real is the way the dialogue plays out. which is like probably equally his writing & the actors who understand what he wants. but he has people repeat things & play off something someone else said & get sidetracked in the middle of saying something etc etc. like i watch other shows and their dialogue feels so stilted. sorkin is the only time i get to suspend that and feel like the people talking don't already know what everyone is going to say

I wish I could dissect Aaron sorkins brain & figure out how he makes such concrete & real feeling characters and stories
