@kangofu-cb I feel like I must have told YOU of all people about Creep, because you are the recipient of all my story ideas, both real and imagined, but this is a story that only lives in my head at present. Basically, Creep is the most recovering-from-programming-lurking-around-the-Tower Bucky song EVER. I mean:
I don't care if it hurts
I wanna have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul
Does anything sum up clawing-his-own-brain-back-from-Hydra Bucky better? And then there's Clint, another resident of the Tower, golden and handsome and apparently not a care in the world. I mean:
You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
Is not exactly how I would describe Clint swan-diving off a crumbling building, but I can see how Bucky would feel that way. So there is Bucky, all greasy and lurky and feeling corrupted by Hydra and he thinks Clint is this golden, untouchable angel, and then ... then he gets to know Actual Disaster!Clint and realizes that this golden, perfect, idolized version of Clint doesn't exist. Real!Clint is broken and tormented by his own demons and creaky in every joint and just ... a million times better. And then they fall in love.
Rules: You can usually tell a lot about a person by the type of music they listen to. Put your playlist on shuffle and list the first 10 songs, and then tag 10 people. No skipping!
This is using my ‘background soundtrack to life’ playlist, so it’s all pretty chill

I Love You, I Love You. It’s Disgusting by Broadside
It’s always “stop starting new hobbies, don’t keep buying more supplies, weren’t you working on a project already don’t start a new one” and never “nice enrichment I love your enrichment”
I really don’t believe there’s any such thing as a failed hobby. I think it goes back to “no love, however brief, is wasted” and “joy is never pointless”. Even if your hobby wasn’t quote-unqoute “successful”, I bet you still had fun with it, at least a little bit. You probably still learned something from it, or at least learned some limits to your abilities. And I think that makes it worth it
people who prefer the summer months becsuse they like warmth dont even understand the best kind of warmth. the best kind of warmth is lots of layers and blankets and maybe hot food or drink when its cold outside
Combining my love of reading and knitting, here’s a cute little book with a secret. Between the knit covers there’s a tin full of my smaller bookmarks.
That it looks adorable on my shelves is a great bonus!
