Happy 2024, everyone! Excited to announce that I've just submitted all the revised graphics for my Periodic Graphics project, which is set to be published this year.
Last year, I initiated @fridaygirlart , which evolved from a pure visual art project to one that focuses on dreamy, fantastical, culturally-inspired character, set, and prop design. Meanwhile, I noticed that my science comics on Sunny Side Up have become quite popular, even though the art could use some polishing. As both science and fantasy require great imagination, I plan to keep posting both here and on @fridaygirlart . Of course, this will be after prioritizing other important tasks, like preparing materials for my artist visa.
As an entertainment artist, particularly in visual and storytelling aspects, I've found that beauty and knowledge are inseparable in my creative process. In every project, it's essential to have both aesthetic and intellectual elements. Focusing solely on one would hinder my potential. With interests spanning both the romantic and complex, as well as the light and humorous, I've found my strength in balancing contemplation and vibe. I aim to realize my creative visions with a pragmatic, action-oriented mindset.

Marie Antoinette with bubble gum 🫧
(P.S. Technically speaking, Marie herself didn’t say ‘let them eat cake’. It might have been attributed to her as propaganda to oppose the monarchy during the French Revolution)

We could’ve never loved the earth so well if we have not a childhood in it, if it were not the earth where same flowers come up again every spring, that we wrap around with our tiny fingers.
What novelty is worth that sweet monotony where everything is known and loved because it is known.
— George Eliot, the Mill on the Floss

Hi guys! It’s been a while since I worked on new science comics. I’ve been busy with @flowersoffriday, my art project focusing on fantasy. As an author-illustrator, my main interests are nature, culture and social dynamics, both in fiction and nonfiction form (dramedy).
I’m also finding commercial opportunities in 2D/3D visual design, and working towards a career in 3D game arts. Will keep everyone updated when a new funny science comic comes out!

Concept design of the saints of seven luminaries — sun, moon, fire, water, wood, gold, and earth. Do you know that the seven days of the week were named after these planetary elements?
‘Monday’s Child (moon) is fair of face.
Tuesday’s Child (fire) is full of grace.
Wednesday’s (water) Child is full of woe,
Thursday’s (wood) Child has far to go.
Friday’s (gold) Child is loving and giving,
Saturday (earth) Child works hard for a living.
And the child born on the Sabbath day (sun) is bonny and blithe and good and gay’
Which day of the week were you born on?
