I made another MH character lineup! This one includes Sarah, Seth (+dog), Amy, and everyone’s favorite character, unnamed tunnel guy! Compared to the last one, I slipped a lot more of my headcanons into these designs, mainly with Seth because I have SO MANY headcanons for that freak please somebody ask me about them.

Next time I plan on doing a lineup of Jessica, Taylor, Sydney, and Dan, and then I will do one final lineup after that for David, Adam, Skully, and The Operator.

Also I swear I matched the brush size to the original ref sheet, but the lines look so much thinner here?? Maybe I just wasn’t pressing down as hard with the pen this time? I have no idea. The inconsistency is sorta driving me crazy but oh well.

I redrew that one scene of Masky from Entry #####! And I… don’t like it! I think it looks weird! And now my entire arm is sore! Me thinks that creating fully rendered pieces of fanart every day for the last week was not a good idea…

I did just uncover some old-ish Marble Hornets fanart from a while back though, so I may redraw a couple of those sometime soon (but maybe after my arm stops hurting, I think I should probably give it a break lol)

I’ve been rereading the MH comics (and rewatching the entire original series and watching analysis videos and reading all the puzzle deconstructions and watching all the behind-the-scenes--) and I wanted to talk about something I’ve noticed and also redraw one of my favorite panels in my style!

I love this one panel on page 19 in volume 3.5 SO MUCH! It legitimately made me tear up the first time I saw it. Watching the original Marble Hornets for the first time all those years ago (and honestly even still upon further rewatches), I always thought that the most tragic thing about Tim and Brian’s dynamic was that they used to be best friends, but then they had such a severe falling out that they would be willing to kill each other in the end, but this… reading this one scene put their entire relationship in a whole new light! They both felt hurt and betrayed by each other because of the circumstances they were forced into, but they never stopped caring about each other, and that’s DEVASTATING! I hope so badly that in future volumes (or possibly even in eckvanet if we’re lucky??) that we see Brian and Tim reconcile somehow, because if given the chance, I don’t think either of them would hesitate to do so. Love these boys.

(Also don’t mind the fact that he’s holding Alex up by the scruff of the neck like a wet cat, it just makes the whole scene even better imo and I wanted to emphasize it more in mine lmao)

Also also, dearest Troy Wagner: if the boys ever do see each other again and make up, can this be how the scene plays out? ( vvv ) Please and thank you.

I used a base to design him (created by Wooloo on TH!) because the art he was for was originally supposed to be quick and silly, but honestly I fell in love with him SO FAST I think I might just end up making a full hand-drawn ref for him one of these days…

Oooooh you’re so right, I just rewatched that entry to check for myself and Tim saying “When you killed Amy, did you feel like you were in control then?” Seems pretty definitive! LOL

Even if it’s not Alex himself outright admitting it, he doesn’t deny it either, and I doubt the writers would put that big of a random red herring in the ending for no reason. (But MAN, I thought Alex had at least one person he wasn’t willing to kill. Kind of thought her death is what pushed him over the edge? What a stinko. You’re definitely correct tho)

I have unilaterally decided that Brian is a furry and nobody can stop me. I can offer no explanation, it came to me in a vision at 4AM yesterday night and I refuse to listen to reason. This is canon now. The only thing I can say is the phrase “glitter glue gay” popped into my head followed immediately by the thought of Brian in a kigurumi, and I took that as a prophecy.

Btw his fursona is an ocelot named Sal (who I created an entire reference sheet for JUST FOR THIS ONE DRAWING but that’s neither here nor there), and he’s had this guy (and redesigned him many times) since he was in high school. Brian followed a tutorial and made a set of puffy paws and a tail for himself a month before going to a con, and before everything with Alex happened, he planned on making a full suit for his senior project (cause he’s also an art major obviously), but he never got around to it.

Oh and he also definitely sewed cat ears onto his Hoody hood and totheark was like “they’ll know it’s you if you go out like that but okay.”

I’m in my yearly Marble Hornets hyperfixation era, so I’ve been really in the mood to draw a lot of fan art of these mentally disturbed lads!

I made this to be a quick reference sheet (outfits, colors, eye shapes and hair styles specifically) to use for future fan art, but I actually ended up really loving the look of it by itself too, so I’m sharing it here!

Also I know Brian doesn’t have blue eyes but COME ON, all these boys have brown hair AND brown eyes in canon except for Jay, I need SOME variety. Sue me.
