Just saw dune PT 2 and I can't help but see Macbeth parallels.
Someone is told by a coven of witches that he is the subject of a prophecy in which he will rise to power. At first he is reluctant about it but a woman close to him, who herself is connected to the witches and supernatural convinces him to follow through and work toward achieving the prophecy. By the end of the show he has become an insane dictator, manipulating and killing without thought to keep his throne.
There are also heavy. Themes of how genders gain power, with women gaining it though manipulation and men through conquest.

Despite what you may have heard Bruce Wayne is not, in fact, a furry.
He is, however, very opinionated.

Ok as I mentioned in my tags of that last post, in 2018 DC created the black label, which is a label that they wanted to use to run series for more mature audiences. You have to be 17 to buy them in stores and they contain like uncensored swearing and way more violence and sexual themes. It's basically DC going ok these comic books are all rated R. This didn't stop me from reading them when I was a teen but that's beside the point.
Anyway the first book to be put out under the black label was Batman: Damned, which in the VERY FIRST ISSUE has a panel of Batman going full frontal, which was the funniest couple months of my life because people lost their minds. It was hilarious. It also generated this headline, which I thought I might have imagined for the last 6 years, but no I managed to find it just now and it's even better than I remembered.
