Hi! Congratulations on 1000 followers! Can I request a ship in the Stranger Things fandom please? :)

I'm a girl, I'm 5'8, and I have blue eyes and blonde hair. I've always been the shy one around new people, and I honestly hate big crowds. However, the second I get to know you better and feel comfortable around you, I'm actually quite talkative. Even in the friend group, I usually have a "safe" person who I'm the closest with and know I can actually be myself around them, so I tend to migrate towards them in group outings. That is not to say I don't trust the others, I really enjoy their company too and have fun spending time with them, but it's just not the same level of closeness.

My biggest flaw is blurting thing out in the heat of the moment without giving them much thought. I can be brutally honest, and it often looks like I'm disregarding others' feelings, which is not true, but I can see how it may look from their perspective, so I'm definitely working on avoiding this.

Because I often use sarcasm, people sometimes assume that I'm just an overall pessimistic person, which is also not true. It's usually just to avoid talking about my feelings, which is something I'm definitely not very good at.

Steve Harrington!!

I can see Steve being a person to try and coax you out of your shell for sure. When you first meet he’s going to definitely be a little bit of a teaser. Hell poke fun and you and be a little flirty to try and get you flustered or some kind of reaction. Once you do open up though he loves your interactions just the same.

When going to party’s or any other social outing he always makes sure your okay and checking up on you.

He can listen to you talk for hours and he loves every second of it. His favorite thing is when you guys go out and it’s just the both of you. He gets to see a side of you others don’t get to see all the time. He knows for a fact that you feel comfortable most around him and that just fills his heart to the brim with care.

Steve honestly likes your honest nature. However if it does become too much he’ll point things out subtly. He also is besties with sarcasm so that’s not even a problem between the two of you.

However if it is a more serious situation that you’re using it then he’ll gently coax you to open up with him for that moment

Percy didn’t understand how the living hell he ended up here. 

He’s an excellent cook.

He’s been cooking for years.

His mother taught him basically before he could walk.

So why the hell were the eggs in front of him burning every single goddamn time he made a new batch.

Spaghetti he can make.

Muffins he can manage.

Souffle is a struggle but it's tolerable.

But eggs.

That's where he draws the line?

Make it make sense for him, please.

Percy doesn’t know how much more his trash can take from the searing hot burning smell of eggs being dished into it before it’ll cry.

“Percy?” A faint soft voice called behind the kitchen door.

He’s so glad he got it installed. Screw the point of you saying ‘The house won’t be as open.’ As long as you can’t see him internally screaming at inanimate objects he’s fine.

“Yeah?” he calls back, with a sore attempt of an even tone.

“Everything okay in there? Why’s the door locked?” 

Percy’s gaze darted down to the jiggling door nob.

“I wanted to surprise you with breakfast. But I guess it’s not a surprise anymore.”

This was not a lie. But he was kinda planning he could actually present to you a semi pretty looking plate and not a bunch of black blobs.

“I smell something burning, you’re sure you’re okay in there?” you asked.

Percy’s eyes widened as he turned back to the simmering pan. Steam lifted from the cooking material.

“I’m fine! I’m fine!” he called rushing to stop the potential disaster. Pulling the pan off of the stove, he turned it off and sat it on a different burner.

Sighing Percy slouched in disappointment as his disgrace of a meal. Slugging his way to the door he opened it and met your concerned expression.

“Breakfast is served,” he grumbled pulling the door back for you to see his monstrosity. You winced at the sight. 

Stepping into the kitchen you scanned the different material and objects scattered about.

“How long have you been at this?” you asked.

“Too long,” Percy stated, dragging a hand down his face.

Your expression softened at his disheaved state. Approaching him you placed an arm around his waist.

“How about we go out for brunch instead?” Percy leaned into your hold.

“As long as you don’t order eggs.”

A finger tracing along the side of your face was the first thing you acknowledged as conciseness slowly overtook you. Furrowing your brows the invisible magnet that held your eyes shut was strong as a nail caressed your cheek. 

Blinking forcefully, you squinted as sunlight peaked out from behind your curtains. Noticing that the drapes were not where you put them for this exact reason your gaze darted to the owner whose hand was now cupping your chin. 

Familiar warm gold eyes met your own. A smile slowly made its way over Alice’s features as she scanned across your face.

“Hi,” she whispered softly. You attempted to respond with a smile of your own but it felt like more of a grimace. 

Opting for a vocal reply instead you spoke, “Hey… What are you doing here?”

The brightness of eyes slowly fell into a more somber look.

“I haven’t seen you in a while. You haven’t been responding to my texts.”

Humming you murmured a quiet ‘Sorry.’

You saw the messages she left but just couldn’t bring yourself to respond. Not replying seemed better than giving Alice a false promise of going to your weekly coffee shop spot. Well, it was weekly, until it felt too difficult to drive with the weight of all the exhaustion on your shoulders.

It felt unexplainable, the overwhelming amount of numbness that was in the pit of your chest. It felt like it was growing with every waking moment. But with that sleep was a great alternative. Which wasn’t very hard to do since you were somehow tired all the time even if all you did during the day was lay in your bed scrolling on your phone or watching movies. It felt a chore to even leave the comfort of your sheets.

“Hey,” Alice gently coaxed you to focus back on her. Another sweep across your face followed shortly after. Her thumb ran under your eye which was slightly sunken in. Her face scrunched up as she searched to find words. 

“What happened, Y/n? What’s wrong?”

The words hung in the air.

How do you tell someone that you didn’t know why you dreaded every waking moment. That your thoughts felt like they weren’t even your own. Every emotion and feeling fell into nothingness at any little interaction.

Your eyes wheeled as an overwhelming sense of dread and sadness took over you.

“I don’t know,” you whispered, voice cracking slightly. “I don’t know what happened to me.” A small sob broke from your chest at the realization of the lack of vehemence you’ve experienced. The need and want to escape the never-ending void of senselessness grew tenfold as Alice brought your head to her chest. 

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry,” you began to repeat not knowing how to put what you’ve been feeling into words.

“Baby, you have nothing to be sorry for,” she hushed, smoothing your hair back and rocking slowly. “You don’t have to explain it, just be here with me for a second okay? I’m here for you. I’ll always be here. Don’t keep pushing me away, please. You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to. Just let me stay to be here for you.”

Nodding mindlessly, you clung to Alice as your blanket fell from your shoulders to wrap around your waist. Combing through your hair Alice continued to whisper reassuring things into your ear.

It wasn’t instant that the pit in your stomach began to fade but you knew that Alice would be there for as long as it was needed to make sure you could be pulled from it.

so sorry ive been so inactive recently. things have been really busy for me like its been a wack past two weeks. i havent been able to find time to write either. motivation has been so low and ive been so so tired. 

ive been trying to brainstorm for the jj fic but nothing that ive come up with has really stuck. also guys stop following me. the jj fic is supposed to be for my 900 celebration but its looking like its going to be a 1k celebration FOR THE FACT IM ALREADY AT 946 FOLLOWERS LIKE CHILL DAWG YOU DONT HAVE TO FOLLOW WHEN IM LITERALLY GIVING NOTHING RN

but also i have not given up on the jacob series i swear. like i said creative juices have not been flowing and with the jj fic being my main focus rn i haven't put too much thought into it
