They don’t send video in the team chat, but the team chat isn’t the only place Connor shares his work out routines. And Connor does post video on OnlyFans.

Summary: It's been years, but it's always Leon.
Recommendation: I feel like there should be way more Connor/Leon fic because I love it even though I totally understand why the ended up mostly being written in different pairings. But this fic is so lovely and so sad. Connor and Leon are retired and very much in love and living with Connor’s life altering head trauma, which sometimes feels like it’s own character. Connor has memory issues and chronic pain and for most of the fic is very much struggling with the life he no longer has and the life he has now. It’s both a love story, and a very strong one, and a tragedy. And extremely well written.
Warnings: head trauma and chronic pain issues. Suicidal ideation as a result.

hey softnoirr what do you imagine t and c doing for work post retirement in pdd? if this is like, spoilery or not something you wanna answer at this point no worries! do you see either of them (obviously injury aside for t) being like a wendy whelan, to the bitter end type? or any chance they’d leave ballet behind completely and do something entirely different?
I think Christen definitely sees herself as a Wendy Whelan figure. she's going to do this until she dies by which she means she will do this and then she is going to die the second she stops. whereas Tobin is like yeah when the times right I'll walk away. HOWEVER, this is just their own self perception of how they'd handle it and not the actual truth.
I don't think Christen loves ballet enough to actually be a Whelan-like figure. Christen sees ballet as a part of herself, like another limb but she doesn't have the real unfiltered love for it that Tobin does. Her idenitity is tightly wound up in it, but other than that there's really nothing keeping her there. I think she'd retire at a totally respectable age and then realise she wants to literally never think about the whole thing again. Obviously she doesn't succeed at that because she lives in a little brownstone in NYC and goes to every ABT charity night and buys flowers for the new principals and tries to actually mean it when she smiles at them, but also she's never going to teach ballet or choreograph or even want to talk about it that much. She's fine!! And she'd really like to never talk to you about it ever please!!
Tobin on the other hand would always want to be involved. Like she's horrible to Christen about their coaching arrangement but she hasn't been forced into this, she can go home any time she wants, but she has a sincere love and passion for the sport. She likes watching ballet, she likes dancing ballet, she likes teaching other people how to dance ballet. When she's in the bodega near Christen's house buying cat food and a tube of mascara at 3pm she's listening to the Don Quixote soundtrack in her headphones. When she retires she stays with the company in any capacity they let her. I've always privately thought she probably ends up running ABT's studio company.
#i think realistically (ie. in the parameters ive made up for my made up world) they'd both still live off of ballet post retirement#but i think christen would be very hands off whereas its still tobins whole life#asks#pas de deux
