❝ I'm guessin' we're talkin' major injuries here, 'cause I ain't 'bout 'ta fuckin’ list every 'lil scratch. ❞ Broken ribs? He was not counting that shit. Torn knuckles? Not worth mentioning. Nnoitra had only had two --- mah, maybe three incidents where something serious had happened to him. Considering the sort of life he led, that was not so bad. He had gotten into more fights that one could count. The fact that he hardly ever got injured was just proof of how STRONG he was.

❝ My eye, obviously. ❞ Nnoitra said, pointing to his eyepatch. He didn't wear this thing because it LOOKED GOOD or because it was comfortable. He wore it to hide an obvious weak spot. ❝ I got stabbed when I was eighteen, right before 'da end 'a high school. 'Daz why I dropped out. ❞ Yeah, getting stabbed in the eye had made him say GOODBYE to any sort of education. There was no way he could take his exams while he was dying from pain. Getting stabbed in the eye had been the worst pain he had ever experienced, by far. He remembered EVERYTHING about it, and could still bring forth the feeling of the blade piercing his eyeball if he tried. Not that he ever did. The knife had penetrated his skin right above his left brow-bone, and been brought down vertically to cut through his eyeball and down to about half a centimetre below his eye.

Nnoitra had had no money at the time, so he ( the smartest man on the planet ) hadn't gone to hospital. No surprise, the wound had gotten infected. The pain of having his eye and face start to ROT? That had been worse than the stabbing itself. It was also why the scar had turned out so large. The whole eye-area had been infected, and it had spread down his cheek. It was why he wore such a large eyepatch. In the end, he HAD gone to the hospital. He couldn't pay for more than the bare minimum, so he hadn't had the eye removed. It was blind, of course, but it remained in its socket. It had looked VERY ugly. Like something out of a horror movie. The eye itself had turned almost white, and he had lost all motorisation to it, so it would just float around, making him appear cross-eyed.

❝ Next big thing, though I don't think it was THAT big a deal, was at work. I was fightin' this huge ass motherfucker, 'n even though I won 'da fight, I had 'ta go 'ta 'da hospital 'cause I passed out. Think it was... What'cha call it? A concussion? So, no big deal. ❞ He honestly didn't remember everything from that fight. The important thing was that he had won. He counted it as a big injury simply for the fact that they ( his manager ) had brought him to the hospital for treatment.

❝ Then, I guess 'da most badass injury was when I got shot in 'da head. ❞ Again, Nnoitra pointed to his eyepatch. There was a small grin on his face, as if it was FUNNY. It wasn't. But it was ironic that he had been shot - in his bad eye. ❝ Got shot right in my blind eye. Talk 'bout fuckin' luck, huh? 'N 'da bullet went right through 'n exited here - ❞ He pointed at a spot behind his left ear. There was a scar there, but it was hidden by lots of black hair. Getting shot in the head had been... How to even describe it? He remembered everything prior to getting shot, but after that? Things were a little blurry. He knew ( because he had been told ), that he had suffered from memory loss for a while afterwards, but luckily he had gotten his memories back. He also knew that he would suffer from headaches for the rest of his life. Not every day, but pretty often. A small price to pay for actually surviving getting shot in the head. The doctors were fascinated by him, and apparently one brain-surgeon had even written a whole ass paper about his case that had been published. It was a ' miracle ' they said.

Getting shot had changed Nnoitra's face, needless to say. The eye was completely gone now. The eye-socket had more or less grown shut, but it appeared slightly deformed. The scar itself was still just a few years old, so it was pink in color. The old scar from his injected eye was still visible on his cheekbone, but it had a white appearance and was faded ( because it was so much older ). Nnoitra's brow-bone had been shattered from the impact of the bullet, but had been reconstructed somewhat successfully. There was a small dent there and several scars from stitches - which, apparently, would fade. Overall, Nnoitra thought he looked better than before. At least he didn't have that freaky eye floating around. Now there was just nothing. There was so much scar-tissue that the crater where the socket was didn't even appear that deep. At the hospital, surgeons had wanted to do reconstructive surgery on him, but Nnoitra had declined. WHY should he try to have this ' fixed ' ? He was so used to wearing that large eyepatch, and he doubted any sort of reconstruction could make him look presentable anyway. He would always be ugly, and that was fine.

3. Do you have a favorite scene you’ve written from [Fanfic Name] story/chapter?

Hmm. Okay so from Fool's Gold, I really enjoyed writing the whole thing but as for which scene in particular, its probably the one where Raven wakes up and then pretends to be asleep as Gar dotes over her before going to start breakfast. I really love soft domestic scenes like this and it's just a quiet moment where there's some introspection and falling in love deeper. Just figuring out the imagery for all of it was super fun.

Also I really enjoyed writing the whole moonlit date/beach scene as well. The aesthetic of that scene was so clear in my mind that putting it to words was really lovely. Coming up with the two truths and a lie was a tiny bit harder than the rest of the fic tho which is why it's not my main favorite scene but all in all I just really enjoyed writing most of the fic.

12. Who is your favorite author?

I'm assuming this question is about fanfic authors for which I have to say I don't know. I really love a variety of fics from many authors.

Some of my favorite Teen Titans authors are Foamsatmouth, Golem XIV, speaks and Cataistrophie8499. I also love Ava's (fireflyxrebel's) fics.

13. When did you start writing fanfic?

This is a super fun question for me to answer!

Okay so my first ever fanfic was actually when I was around 8 or 9 years old. I used to love the Rainbow Magic fairy books when I was a kid. Absolutely devoured them, when I lived in America. When I came back to Pakistan, I couldn't find them here because which was a bummer cuz there was this one new book I really wanted to read: Morgan the Midnight Fairy. Now since there was no way to get access to that book esp cuz pdfs for children's books weren't really a thing back then, my dad, to curb my disappointment, told me to write the story myself. He told me to write my own version of the book as I would want it to be and so I did! It was 4 chapters. Only 2 pages with half a chapter each page if I remember correctly (I still have it) with a Clipart "book cover" but I wrote it and I was proud of it and I still am because I realize that's my origin not only as a fanfic writer but as a writer overall.

That's the first time I learned to write what I wanted to read and to write what I couldn't find.

I didn't write my first fandom fanfic until I was 15 but I like to consider the "book" I wrote when I was 8 as my first official fanfic.

16. What fanfic tropes do you avoid writing for?

This is a difficult one cuz I can't think of anything off the top of my head. I avoid writing smut cuz I'm not comfortable with writing that kind of content yet. I also don't like cheating tropes so I avoid those. There's plenty more but these are the two big no-nos I can think of rn.

24. Do you prefer AUs with the characters, or sticking to the original universe?

It usually depends on what I can find to read. I have had more fun writing AUs recently tho esp for Teen Titans and before that Shadow and Bone and Stranger Things. However for Cowboy Bebop which is my most recent fandom I've been writing canon compliant post series fics. What I write is based on what I want to read so if I feel like I wanna see the characters in a different setting and that I'm satisfied with seeing them in the world they're already in from canon, I usually write AUs. However if I feel there's a lot more to be explored through canon, I write fics set in canon verse.

Okay, it's a little weird, but Brock/Rico(chet) is pretty cute, ngl.. Someone on reddit pointed out that they have matching jackets and I can't stop thinking about it.

The only reason why I think it's slightly awkward is because I originally started Bounced Around as a familial type bond between all three, but in some future scenes I've written, they have a kind of cute interaction... like small, mutual crushes...where both parties don't know what to do with said crushes...

Even re-reading through the current scenes I have, Rico(chet) treats Brock different from 8-Bit, so it's like I subconsciously shipped them already. (Case in point, Rico treats 8-Bit like a younger brother, but talks to Brock and there's a sense of respect because of how they met.)

But I'm not too sure what I'll do with them in the end- I don't like stifling characters, but at the same time I don't have a plan for them. So... we'll see? :3

Like, man. Can I gush about these two? I can't say for sure what kickstarted my interest in them. Probably pieces of fan art here and there, and the canonical bit of them both liking to groove (shown individually).

And their interactions are like... Sweet.

In my main verse, Piper just does not take it easy. Tara gives the air of being a mysterious, important entity, and that's what gets Piper to talk to her in the first place. But she gradually slows down in matters like those because Tara's outlook in life is constant self-improvement. Honestly, Piper could stand to learn a thing or two... and Tara being happy gives me life.

I'd like to focus on them more... I have plans for them in one story as Misfortune Tara/Piper. Where their dynamic from the start is even sweeter, with no actual ulterior motives from either side. Agh, but why can't it just write itself? Smh.

Anyway Tiper has been mega real since 1965, maybe even sooner.

I’m looking for an old epic Destiel fic (LJ era). Castiel was Dean’s guardian angel since he was a child. On one of the first scene Castiel was fascinated by Dean excitement for a storm. Castiel was very fascinated by Dean in general. Castiel was able to see souls. Sam and Dean had a very strong bond partly because Castiel had touched newborn Sam’s soul. When Dean was a teenager Castiel possessed Jimmy’s twin sister and went to a date with Dean to the cinema.

Lost and Found fic, #2

I’m looking for a fic called “Return” but I cannot remember the author. It is a story about Dean being a space soldier and Cas is his husband back on earth with their son. Dean’s ship gets blown up but Cas can’t move on even when Sam tries to talk him into it for his own good. Turns out Dean is alive and enslaved. He is rescued 5 years after he is presumed KIA and returns to Cas and son. It also has two smaller fics in the verse “Meet” and “Ask”.

Our answer: Return, Meet and Ask by cloudyjenn (unofficially recced on an ask about fics where Cas thinks that Dean is dead) [8,000 word count, 3 parts, AU]

Another fic by cloudyjenn, which is now hosted only on her Dreamwidth. On our blog this fic is recced on 2 asks, the second ask is about fics with soldier/civilian families; both asks are tagged with the #war tag. Since cloudyjenn deleted her LJ 3 years ago, many links to her fics on our blog were broken. Thanks to this ask, I had a chance to look them up and fix them. ;)

hi! I've looked through your fantasy/demon dean tags and used the search engine, but I haven't found the fic i'm after. In the fic Dean was a demon/Cas was an angel, I think it worked out like angels and demons were different kingdoms? As far as I remember they had to work together, an arranged marriage may have been involved but I'm not sure. Demons had tails/wings, and angels had wings but i'm not sure about tails. There's a scene where Cas watched Dean train his demon team.

Our answer: This is All Life Really Means by gedry [NC-17, 90,000 word count, AU]

Gedry is another popular author from the good old LJ times. The link on our review goes to their LJ where fic is marked as complete. Recently, gedry has started to repost their fic to AO3, so I added AO3 link to our review as well. It seems that some timestamps are still not transferred, and for this reason only the fic is marked as a WIP. Please be assured that the main destiel story is complete and you can enjoy the fic and give it more love on AO3. Btw, the fic is on our demon!dean tag which we use for both, AU and SU fics.

[TL;DR lost fic: SU S10 (Post Demon!Dean), Dean PoV, hunting, angst, on Ao3, medium length] Newly-human Dean struggling to control the MoC and TFW hunting at a hotel. Demon!Dean told Sam & Cas that Dean was molested as a kid by a coach at his school (who paid for the brothers' hotel room). Monster looked like Cas, but didn't speak. Not written by kelpie, xylo, komodo, salty, peridium, or other usual suspects.

1. What was your first impression of the roleplay community on Tumblr? And what’s your impression of it now? (ANSWERED)

2. Tell us about the first fandom you roleplayed in. Are you still part of it or have you moved onto others? My very first fandom, serious fandom at least was Harry Potter and though I still have Remus, he doesn’t have an HP active thread right now. But I have Remus for nearly 4 years I think - but 3 years here on Tumblr.

3. Who was your first muse? Remus Lupin was my absolute first muse - the URL was bittenchildremus and that is how I got the nickname Bitty thanks to my two best friends here.

4. How many roleplay blogs do you have? Right now? Just one - with a total of 9 muses, but 1 is closed to a partner and thus I have 8 active muses!

5. What’s your oldest roleplay blog? Now, it’s this one xD Though bittenchildremus was my oldest blog for nearly 2 years, I eventually started to struggle with myself and my writing. Chose different muse (Theseus Scamander) and that didn’t work out and went back to Remus in a renewed blog. Then we had a big ass drama that kinda pushed me and my friends out of the HP/FB verse and I ended up making a multi-muse! Now I’m happily running along with the DC universe as half my muses are now DC-related xD I STILL HAVE REMUS! He’s my baby, even if he’s not in his original verse anymore.

6. What are your thoughts on the current roleplay trends on here right now? Uuuh! Too hard to keep up!

7. What is the one trend you miss the most that are no longer popular or seen as much as it was before? That was the HP/FB verse - it started to die... Which was part of the reason that I didn’t want Remus as my main blog anymore. People don’t like it when an HP character is following someone that is from a completely different verse.

8. Are there other websites you roleplay on that’s not on Tumblr? Used to, I used to RP on Facebook and roleplayer.me - not anymore, just here.

9. How long have you been roleplaying? Pfff, over 10 years now - I started in my own language (Dutch) and that escalated to English and I don’t want it any other way.

10. Are there any fandom(s) you avoid roleplaying in? Uuuuuh... Anime and cartoon fandoms mostly.

11. What made you start wanting to roleplay? I actually don’t know - it was just so much easier than interacting with real people. How I rolled in it, I can’t remember... I just did!

12. Are there any characters you’re interested in wanting to roleplay as? Hmmm, not at the moment - I already made the muses I’m interested in, but you never know who tempts me for another muse in the future xD Wouldn’t be the first time!

13. Are you interested in creating an oc and roleplaying as them? I used to play ONLY OC’s to be honest - so much easier and less pressure, but not much want for OC’s and Remus was my first dare on making a Canon character. I tried before but never too long. I used to play as Oliver too in the past.

14. What are your thoughts on duplicates? I don’t care! We can make something work! I used to have Loki and roleplaying with another Loki is rather easy. Sadly, he’s not among my muses anymore.

15. What’s your impression on blogs who are selective/private? They should do whatever they want - if it makes them feel more comfortable, why not? I’m semi-selective, though not private. But I did had private side-blogs for my friends.

16. What do you expect from others when they want to roleplay? More than just one-liners and one paragraph? I don’t mind one paragraph with some people, because I know we have a lot of activity going on. But I want more as well and luckily I did gain partners that write more than just that. I don’t mind short and casual stuff! But I’ve started to long for bigger things, more things.

17. What are your thoughts on people who goes all out on the aesthetic for their blogs? Do you think they’re have the right to express their creativity however they want? Yes of course! I do the very same thing when I can and I have the mood for~

18. What’s the one thing you want to try the most on your blog? I want to grow more in the dark theme - gross and iew! I want to be able to freak someone out with just words. I’ve managed to play a victim very well and bring out emotions of fear and I want to do the same with all kinds of things. One day I will!

19. Give us a headcanon about your muse that you never shared to anyone else or wanting to explore deeper. Uuuuh - no comment right now x_x been low on headcanons lately

20. Is there someone you admire on here? Yes, my two best friends I have known for 3 years! @legacyof-deathandmadness and @ineffableduality and they are truly brilliant with their words! They create art! But I got to know this awesome person who has amazed me as well and that is @hellsrhapsody and all their blogs! I also admire a lot more people~ @stagekiller and @theednygma and @blue-eyed-devils!

Best ways to approach you for rp/plotting: if you want to plot, it would be best to send me an IM and ask me, then we can definitely move to discord if you’d rather. it’s possible to approach me for rp without plotting first, best way would be to send me a meme when i reblog them or simply an ic ask, which i will answer, while memes might get lost. ic asks are good ice-breakers, we can continue plotting from there.

What expectations do you hold towards your plotting partner: i need my partners to be as interested in our plot as i am. it would be great if you already have an idea, but it’s still good if you don’t, i get that coming up with ideas can be hard sometimes; mostly, i require honesty. you can definitely tell me that you got no ideas and i will do my best to help, ask questions, try to spark something. i do require the feeling of having that commitment reciprocated.

When you notice the plotting is rather one-sided, what do you do?: i tend to straight up drop the conversation lmao. no hard feelings, but if i get the feeling you’re not interested, i will take my distance - i won’t waste my energy on a plot if my partner doesn’t share my enthusiasm. still, you can always approach me again, if you’re feeling up to it / have new ideas / whatever. nice thing of online convos is that they don’t have an expiration date lol.

How do you usually plot with others, do you give input or leave most work towards your partner?: i always ask if they got any ideas to begin with. if my partner already knows, more or less, what kind of dynamic they wanna build with my character(s), that makes it infinitely easier to build something meaningful. it’s still fine if they don’t, i will usually ask a lot of questions regarding their muse’s opinions / feelings / etc., and try to navigate from there. a question i usually ask is: is there any aspect of your muse you’d like to explore? i think that’s a pivotal point in any interaction.

When a partner drops the thread, do you wish to know?: YES / NO / DEPENDS. - And why?: if they feel like telling me, why not. but usually, i don’t warn when i drop a thread, so it’s not expected of my partners ever. - What should your partner do when dropping a thread?: nothing in particular tbh. they can tell me or approach me to start a new thread if they wish to, but it’s not required.

What could possibly lead you to drop a thread?: i might lose interest in a thread, especially if i feel like it’s going nowhere or if the inspiration for it simply doesn’t come. it’s never happened so far that i had to drop a thread because it was making me uncomfortable, but that could still be a reason for me to. in general, though, i would approach my partner in that case. - Will you tell your partner?: YES / NO / DEPENDS.

Is communication in the rpc important to you? Why do you rp again, is there a goal?: to have fun, to cultivate my writing skills and my english, and to explore my favorite characters.

Wishlist, be it plots or scenarios: i want to develop aizen’s wandenreich verse, because i’m deep in quincy hell and i think his dynamics with quincy muses could be super interesting. anything involving the intricacies of bleach politics is super interesting to me, be it with aizen or with my two quincy muses - who, btw, are also good to explore dynamics between quincies / their culture / relationships etc.

Themes I won’t ever rp / explore: i won’t write anything pertaining to sexual assault.

What Type of Starters do you prefer / dislike, can’t work with?: it’s gotten difficult to work with starters such as “you summoned me / do you need anything / did you call for me” etc. i used to receive that kind of starters all the time with aizen, and i can’t come up with something new every damn time. i also have a hard time working with starters / replies that already feel like a closed conversation and don’t give me anything to reply to.

What type of characters catch your interest the most?: i’m not sure i have a type. aizen is pretty much an exception, the only example of an already well-built character i write, since i tend to gravitate around minor ones that don’t have much material and that i can work on and expand without being affected by the fandom’s opinion or whatever. somehow i always tend to rp tall guys-

What type of characters catch your interest the least?: children and teenagers don’t interest me for the most part. characters who don’t have a shred of an opinion or can’t offer any interesting conflicts. overly friendly, mushy, affectionate and flowery characters are really not my cup of tea either.

What are your strong aspects as rp partner?: oh god i have no idea. i’m very laid-back, i guess. i’ll never pressure my partners for replies, i don’t think i’m owed a reply in the first place because we all have lives offline, so i’ll never take it to heart if a partner drops a thread. if i really feel like our roleplaying styles don’t mesh, it will be at my own discretion to do something about it. another strong aspect i have ....... i think i have a decent grasp on all my muses? especially aizen. of course ur free to disagree lol. also, lately i’ve been p active, so that’s it.

What are your weak aspects as rp partner?: i’m really slow. i might speed up for my closest friends, with whom i plot / rp regularly, but usually i take quite some time to reply to random unplotted threads. i probably have a thousand other flaws as a rper, but this is the biggest one that comes to my mind rn.

- What could possibly make your Muse interesting towards others, why should they rp with this particular character of yours now, what possible plots do they offer?: not to stroke my own feathers but aizen offers a perfect chance at character development to any and all bleach characters. he’s the main villain, he holds some wild opinions, and whether you agree or disagree with him, he leaves no one indifferent. aizen is the main cornerstone of bleach, and if you want your muse to questions themselves and the system / world around them, interacting with him is the best way to start. also, aizen interacted with a fuckton of people, knows practically everything there is to know, is responsible for significant amount of canon events, so you see ... whatever character you write, aizen has the full potential to be extremely relevant in the course of their development.

- With what type of Muses do you usually struggle to rp with?: children, ordinary low-ranked shinigami (i find it hard when it’s out of the blue, even in aizen’s captain and lieutenant verses ... because interactions would likely be only work-related, and won’t go far), characters whose personalities really have nothing to do with aizen. unfortunately, he’s not my easiest muse, and i don’t want to force interactions with him. - With what type of Muses do they usually work well with?: characters who have opinions, some political involvement, in general characters with whom aizen had a dynamic in canon.

- What interests your Muse(s) in general: reading, calligraphy, philosophy (especially in-world philosophy), science (again, mostly related to the specificity of the bleach universe), the very careful crafting of his plan- - What do they desire, is their goal?: kill the soul king and take its place, destroy the institutions of soul society, subdue them. and then rule, as the soul king never did before. - What catches their interest first when meeting someone new?: the idiosyncracies in their behavior, the particularities, their possible weaknesses. - What do they value in a person?: very little, usually. he may appreciate a resolute personality, strength, and intelligence. - What themes do they like talking about?: speaking mostly of mundane talks, he likes conversing about his interests. it takes a lot for him to share any personal information, though. - Which themes bore them?: anything about the greater good, friendship, love, very human topics.

- Did they ever went through something traumatic?: seeing the soul king, in all things like a ghost stalking his dreams, and well ... spending his early life in rukongai as a whole. being forced to consume other souls in order to survive. the first times his reiatsu killed anyone who tried to get near him. - What could possibly trigger them?: it’s rare that he will outwardly show signs of distress, i’d say almost impossible. the few times the soul king still appears in his mind, greatly upsets him though. - What could set them off, enrage them?: the soul king gets him particularly heated. urahara, as we witnessed. after his defeat, ichigo, to an extent. - What could lead to an instant kill?: kubo was a coward who didn’t dare let him kill any relevant character, but actually aizen kills very liberally.

- Is there someone /-thing they hate?: the soul king, urahara. he has a strong disdain for yamamoto, and that joke of C46. - Is there someone /-thing they love?: himself. tousen

Is your Muse easy to approach?: YES / NO. - Best ways to approach them?: he’s only really easy to approach for bleach characters, who, depending on who they are, have different eligible verses to further facilitate the interaction. humans / powerless bleach characters can’t really interact with him tho. - Where are they usually to find?: soul society or hueco mundo. i have a verse set in the wandenreich.

Something you may still want to point out about your muse?: aizen is not a particularly easy muse, but it’s part of his overall mosaic to be somewhat unapproachable and distant. i’m not out to make him someone he is not, so forgive me in advance if plotting with me turns out to be difficult in a way or another. he’s very dear to me, and i try my best to do him justice! while my main headcanons may not affect our interactions specifically, i still ask my partners to look them up (they’re linked in my about page) because they’re essential to my portrayal and it makes me happy to have them acknowledged. i think that’s all lmao. come visit me over at my quincy boys too.

Rules!

1. Themes will vary with this blog. Mystery Incorporated is PRETTY dark at times, so it’ll be what you expect there. To that end, dark themes, violence and maybe swearing.

2. I’m private, which means I only write with mutuals (this is for my own sanity / comfort; everyone’s cool!). I’ll write with canon, oc, and crossover characters.

Although I’m private, when it comes to following people, I’m selective. We don’t have to have known each other prior to write!

As for following back, I usually take a week tops to do so - but if you’ve hit up my promo, I go through that eventually.

If it’s a crossover, I have to know the fandom and be at least a little bit confident with it. This is so I’m able to work with you, our thread and have muse for it.

3. Please don’t rush me for starters or responses.

PLEASE understand that I have blogs galore and my muse tends to fluctuate; this can mean I’m everywhere at once and can end up neglecting a blog or two. It’s nothing personal; you know how muses are!

I have a full-time job (and I’m trying to get into screenwriting in my off-time) so sometimes I’m scrapped for time or exhausted. I’m also an introvert who deals with anxiety and depression, thus that may affect how much / how often I roleplay. If I don’t get chance to respond to anything ic or ooc, it’s nothing personal! Promise!

Chances are, I’ve probably has seen that bit of interactivity and just haven’t gotten around to responding yet.

My roleplaying style being para/multi-para, I may take a while to respond. I hoard drafts like a dragon - it’s really just the motivation to write and ship those out.

I hoard asks, but sometimes can’t find muse or interest for all of them. If it’s been a month or two, generally assume I’m not interested / can’t find muse for it. You’re free to send another though!

I answer asks from anyone - personals, rp blogs and anons. I’ll answer non-mutual asks occaisonally but I won’t be making threads out of them

4. Shippings? If they’re of similar age, sure!

If I don’t happen to be interested, don’t force anything on my character.

I do not ship incestuous ships. Do NOT follow/interact if you do.

The ship has to have chemistry; I’m generally shipping trash, but if they don’t click, they don’t click, sorry.

This is a multi-ship blog, meaning there will be more than one ship without them conflicting with eachother.

If you want to ship and I already have a ship of your choosing going with a duplicate, please don’t hesitate to hmu! My ships aren’t exclusive and each character/relationship portrayal is unique to me!

Relationships are eternal until you deem otherwise. If you’re not interested in a ship anymore, just let me know!

5. Whilst I am of age, I’m not aiming for sexual content on this blog (and will not be dealing with fetishes). The occasional joke is fine, but anything beyond that makes me uncomfortable, and I typically don’t recommend pulling it with my character if you’re interacting with me.

6. About reblogs…

I am not a meme source, and reblogs clog up my activity. Please reblog any memes you find on this blog from their SOURCE. The exception to this rule is if there is no source; go ahead.

I don’t feel comfortable with Personals reblogging my IC or OOC posts, so please don’t do that. If I put something in the fandom tags for whatever reason (bar promos), you’re free to, though.

This goes for my art too unless it has the tag ok to rb, but otherwise only the person I drew it for can reblog it. If you wanna’ reblog something, I DO put it on my art blog eventually!

A few times is fine, as it happens, but repeatedly breaking these rules will result in me soft blocking you.

I try to participate in reblog karma as much as I can, but always reblog from the source/a meme source.

If a post or ask is for you, you’re free to reblog it to save it though - but only if you’re an rp blog!

7. I’m a para / multi-para blog, novella if I’m adventurous and have time. Whilst I may roleplay crack threads with shorter responses, this does not apply to all threads I write. This means:

I write my replies as detailed as I can muster, and length can range from 1 paragraph to 6.

Short responses (such as one-liners) in more serious threads where I’ve written a decent deal can instantly kill my muse for that thread.

Whilst I’d prefer for partners to at least somewhat match my length, it’s entirely up to you - just try your best and make sure you give me enough to work with. ♡

If my muse happen to go nuts out of nowhere - like, overboard - don’t stress too much about matching him.

8. Threads! You can yeet asks, memes, and even starters at me if I’ve liked a call! I’ll obviously have my own you can like.

You’re free to like starter calls even if we’re not mutuals; I can check out your blog that way. I still only write starters for mutuals though.

Starter memes are the BEST way to interact me because they just yeet a prompt at my face and really help me write starters. If you see me reblog one, send one!

If you want a certain verse, lemme’ know! Otherwise, I’ll probably default to a post-canon verse.

If you want to turn an ask into a thread, go ahead!

I don’t recommend writing starters for me unless we’ve discussed something. I don’t like to leave anyone hanging.

Please don’t assume things about my muse. If you’re uncertain about things, ASK.

IMs are open to mutuals, if you want to do any in-depth plotting. I also have Discord if that’s more convenient for you!

For the moment, I’m sticking PRIMARILY to Mystery Incorporated canon with some other media sprinkled in. It’s just because Fred has a lot of media to cover and I haven’t binged his stuff yet.

9. Guidelines on mains and relationships:

If we’re mutuals and we interact a lot, you’re welcome to ask me if I’d like to be your main!

Please don’t be offended if I deny, though; I typically want to pick those I trust to be my mains as well as people I can comfortably write with.

Not limited to them! I roleplay with duplicates galore so don’t be afraid to hit me up if you want to interact!

Pre-established relationships are a-okay in my book; if you have an idea for a relationship between our muses we can work towards, hit me up! I reblog those pre-established relationship memes every so often too. Romantic relationships link back to the shipping guidelines.

Also, friendship/family/rivalry relationships are EXTREMELY valid to me - so don’t feel scared about asking for them!

10. If you have any issues, please let me know and hopefully we can resolve it!

I am absolutely terrible with IMs and Discord. I either respond quickly or days later, depends on my mood. Social anxiety tends to interfere with this (and more recently exhaustion from work) - but honestly, if you’ve sent something, I’ve likely read it and just haven’t gotten around to it yet! It’s nothing personal; trust me!

Please leave me out of drama; I’m here to have a good time, as is everyone else, and it pains me to see people arguing.

This is a little different with callouts - if I see anything on dash pertaining to any problematic users, I will take it into consideration and rb it if I believe them to be harmful.

11. To retierate, I tend to follow those that:

Write para and whom I feel my muse would click with.

Seem chill? Tone can really intimidate me honestly.

Have rules and about pages! Knowing the boudaries of my rp partners is super important as well as their lovely muses! Sometimes rules are enough, though, if you’re going to write the about eventually.

Tag their nsfw.

Don’t have massive icons - ie, have rp icons that take up an entire text post like 500x500 or something. I don’t want to clog the dash and it’s tiring to resize them.

…also, if I follow your hub blog (provided it doesn’t double as a personal), it generally means I’m cool with any blogs that are attached to it.

12. On threads…

If you’re not interested in a thread anymore, and would like to drop it, please let me know! I’d feel terrible if we’re both not having fun with it or if partners feel overwhelmed with the amount of threads we have.

Honestly, unless I let you know, our threads have no expiry date - so no need to worry about me dropping them without telling you. I can just be quite slow sometimes.

13. Mun does not equal muse! Anything my muse might say does not reflect on how I think unless I explicitly say so.

14. Know that if I follow you, I WANT to interact with you.

4. What is the last thing that a fic made you google when you were writing it?

So I answered this one, but I also recently went on a google/wiki spiral about the structure of the NYPD - relating to the structure of the GCPD, as it’s traditionally organised similarly. I wanted to know how ranking worked, how one generally moved through the ranks, the different departments etc. Because I’m curious, mainly about Jim’s career. He attended the academy in Gotham, but it’s pretty clear he didn’t serve as a uniformed officer there, apparently only moving back when he made Detective. Also, why do they never wear their uniforms, except for at funerals? Give me more of Jim in his blues, god damn it.

8. What’s the weirdest reason you’ve ever shipped something?

Again, answered, but really, I can’t think of anything particularly weird. It’s no secret I like villain/hero ships, mainly because I like the complex dynamic that often goes with it (and in general I like dark fic).

13. What is the smallest tag you read on AO3? (fandom, ship, trope, other)

Honestly, Jim Gordon fic. There is a criminal lack of Jim fic to begin with, which is insane because he’s the main character, and a good percentage of it characterises Jim terribly. I mean, go back to the oldest fics on AO3 and you can find some better stuff, but there was a shift at some point and then suddenly the only fic being written is about a certain ship that shall remain unnamed and if Jim does show up at all, he’s written old school character bashing levels of bad (and I have Opinions on that shift, and how and when it happened and how it maybe coincided with a certain group of shippers jumping ship from another show and coming in half way through and then just whitewashing and communally retconing and twisting entire characters and relationships to suit their imagined ideas about a certain unnamed ship, screwing over a number of other characters as a result, not to mention the purity angle spreading and infecting entirely unrelated characters and ships, and chucking fits when the relationship didn’t end in the highly ooc way they’d talked themselves into anticipating. But I won’t go into them here). I am desperate for good Jim Gordon fic y’all.

15. What is your favourite title for a fic you’ve read? (whole fic or chapter)

Saudade. It’s the title of this dceu Superbat fic where Clark and a grieving Bruce meet shortly after Jason’s death. You might already be familiar with the concept of Saudade, but I just think it’s a beautiful word that fits so well this the story (which is in my bookmarks as one of my favourites).

18. Which scene from your fandom do you read most often in fics?

I can’t think of a particular scene I read a lot of, but for a scenario I can never say no to, it’s when the hero (and if we’re talking Gotham I’m talking Jim or Bruce) is in peril, or is hurt or being tortured or is just suffering in general. I love me some hurt/angst (comfort is optional. At least in fic verse. Canon Bruce and Jim could have done with a lot more hugs and support).
