Oh No There’s Only One Bed OR Long-Distance with Correspondence

Gotta go with both (this will happen a bunch of times...). Dont know how many times I've enjoyed the "only one bed trope", I lost count. Also read a great novel about two people accidentally start corresponding to one another via E-Mail in the most hilarious and in the end heartbreaking way.

Enemies to Lovers Fic Rec (Multi-fandom)

A friend of mine asked me to send her some recs for Enemies to Lovers (from any fandom) and so these are my favorite fics that I’ve read that fits that description. 

Rivals verse - Reiya - E: 3 works (in progress) (YOI) 

Yuuri and Victor are the biggest rivals in the skating world and they hate each other. This series is quite a ride and definitely will become (if it isn’t already) a fandom classic.

Gimme Shelter - sincewhendoyoucallme-john - E: 21 chapters (complete) (SHERLOCK) 

This fic (if I can call it that) follows a gorgeous tale of John who is an amateur surfer and Scotty (Sherlock) who is the top surfer out there at the moment and it follows their journey, but my god it’s SO. MUCH. MORE. The writing is spectacular - vivid and beautiful and perfect. I laughed, I cried and honestly, I forgot I was reading a fic at times, or even reading at all because it feels so much like you’re living it - you are the characters, you feel their pain and happiness, their sorrow and touch.  This fic has everything from our beloved characters in swim wear to descriptions of gorgeous scenery and a really cool and interesting sport, and it is at its core a love story in every sense of the word, not only romantic and sexual, but the deep love between friends as well, it’s about healing and new life, failures and passions, beauty and heartbreak, love and loss.  

Performance in a Leading Role - Madlori - E: 9 works (in progress) (SHERLOCK)

Sherlock is an Oscar winning actor in a slump and John is a romantic comedy actor who is looking for a challenge. When these two come together on a project that’s fresh and new will sparks fly for the two or will their egos get in the way? I adore this series for so many reasons, the characterization is brilliant, the story is believable (and meta which is just so much fun) and no matter how many times I read it, I have the same emotions with the same intensity in the same places. 

Roommates are for Little People - alexxphoenix42 - E: 14 chapters (complete) (SHERLOCK) 

This is a lovely little unilock fic where Sherlock and John are paired together as roommates and John is a football player (soccer) and there’s a bit of ballet!lock as well, however to throw another fun thing into the mix there is only one double bed in their room instead of twins...so bed sharing and chaos ensues. It’s so cute and fluffy but also really fun and interesting. 

A Further Sea - i_ship_an_armada, ShinySherlock - E: 23 chapters (complete) (SHERLOCK)

A brilliant pirate!lock au. It’s a slow-burn, non-Caribbean pirate AU and it’s brilliant. John gets kidnapped, by a pirate named The Ghost and what happens is a well-written, adventurous and plot twisting tale. It’s difficult to describe without giving it away but seriously go read it, you won’t regret it!

The Measure of Gentlemen - i_ship_an_armada - E: 2 works (n progress) (SHERLOCK) 

A brillaint Pride and Prejudice AU. John - Elizabeth and Sherlock = Mr. Darcy. It follows the plot of the book and the BBC mini series but has smut mixed in. Definitely give it a read if you love Victorian romance and P&P!

Up To Speed - prettysailorsoldier - E: oneshot (complete) (SHERLOCK)

This is such a fun fic. Also look at the author aka the QUEEN OF TEENLOCK! It’s got hate to love, Christmas shenanigans, some bad boy vibes and sexitimes. What’s not to love? 

The Sidhe - chazzam - E: 5 works (in progress) (GLEE) 

Kurt is an elf of sorts and Blaine is the human that saves him in every sense of the word. They embark on a journey that changes their lives forever. There’s smut, angst, fantasy, adventure, magic, beautiful feels and everything good in this world. 

Go Your Own Way - zavocado - E: 11 works (in progress) (GLEE) 

This is the best badboy Blaine fic I have come across. It takes place during Kurt’s junior year of high school and when Blaine comes into the picture it is way more than Kurt bargained for. It is so bloody smutty but it’s written so well. It’s hard to come across smut this well-written.

Fix - rainjoy - E: 6 chapters (complete) (GLEE) 

While this is quite angsty this is also one of the most fucking beautiful badboy Blaine fics. It is one of the hottest things I have ever read and it’s emotions everywhere. Seriously one wicked fic.

Kintsugi - witchbane - E: 15 chapters (in progress) (YOI) 

Hello mafia AU that is hot as hell! This is so incredible and I could die from waiting for updates. Just go. You won’t be disappointed.
