man i really really love exploring ray's relationship with singing. it's obviously something very personal to him because we only ever see him do it as a sort of coping mechanism in extremely stressful situations, and i love thinking about him eventually feeling comfortable enough to share such a vulnerable part of him with his family y'know?

So there's this webserial called 'worm' about a world where superpowers started suddenly showing up in the 70's, and I'm trying so hard to think of a way to merge it with the stans-and-fidds 70s-and-80s plot events. The thing is, powers are caused by going through a traumatic event, and the powers are tied to both that event and to the person's various issues in ways that sometimes seems cruelly ironic. So you see my dilemma here, with there being so many options for events that could've given these guys powers

Hm, vampire tips? First off, not exactly a blog for kids bro, so best to scroll away after this post. Second, here's my advice with my ever so big experience:

-Follow the masquerade. This should be pretty obvious, but gotta tell yah just in case broski. (Do you know the masquerade rules?)

-Know what's in the blood your drinking. Not every person is so freshy fresh bro, there could be shit in their blood that hurts you, like drugs or whatever.

-Be careful to not frenzy. Control the amount of blood you drink, taking too much could make you lose your humanity and generally frenzies aren't fun.

-Listen to your sire. They've done the game before you, they know how this works better then you.

-Respect the domain.

I remember when I was reading the comments for the first time it was jabs and what they consider clever witty little "meta commentary" towards a certain fans that really annoyed me and exhausted me to the point where I didn't even want to continue reading the comics. Taking a job at your own fan base, even if only in vague forms, usually of which are full of very mentally ill people in some way or another or very neurodivergent people is incredibly exhausting, immature and disgusting. And I'm going to complain about it because this is my blog and that's the entire point of running a blog.

You could do a million other things other than jabbing at your fan base. A lot of people that get into cartoons and things like this are usually people that are either mentally ill, neurodivergent in some way, or someone that is only just starting to get into art that was inspired by the show or wanting to start working on their own form and style from the inspiration it gave them, which admittedly it can take years before someone begins to build up something that feels good. It certainly did for me.

That was certainly what it was for me growing up, and God thank heaven that Rick and Morty was not something that I got into until I was far older and was mature enough to think for myself. But even as an adult getting into the show it was still really grating seeing stuff like this.

If anyone sees this and is bothered, block me, ignore me, whatever. I'm going to rant about stuff like this because in my opinion there's nothing cute or charming at encouraging such to toxicity and negativity towards innocent practices, and I'm sure that it's stuff like this that gradually built up to the incessantly deranged toxic mainstream fan base that you can describe this general show and media too.
