> Werewolves are one of the more uncommon species in the modern world of monsters since their serious eradication during the 19th century. Since then, knowledge of them has been cut short for a few years until they began to resurface years later around the beginning of the 20th century.

> There are different subspecies of werewolves. They are a species that can be mixed with other monsters and hold their abilities completely. However, there are different kinds of them; examples being the classic Wolfman or an anthropomorphic wolf. Some exist as a curse, a few being just as they were born, or others as an infection / virus.

> How they act around others also differentiates between the different kinds; anthropomorphic or old stories of the first werewolves have complete control over themselves or only have the one form. Werewolves brought upon by curses either have some control or none at all between two forms. Very rarely do werewolves have more than two forms.

> Braelynn is a perfect example of werewolves from old stories. She has complete control of herself, and her human look is more so her “second” form. In reality, she’s a wolf that can transform into a human. She has the ability to change parts of her body to be more wolfman like or completely change into a large Dire Wolf.

> Finnchaem is a werewolf but follows the old stories from Ireland; she is seen as a protector in many ways. She has control over herself as a werewolf, but does not control when the transformations occur. In a way, it’s partially a secret she has to keep sometimes from people.

> Xena can fall in both categories of having control and none at all. Because of being a vampire and werewolf hybrid, her control in power and mental strength varies heavily in how she feels emotionally. She has total control over her transformations and her form, but sometimes might not. It varies on how she feels.

> Carmen, unfortunately, has received her werewolf abilities through a curse. Unlike the others, she has zero control over her form or her transformations. They can happen from a full moon or if she is harmed to near death. The curse itself has affected her life in ways such as how she sleeps, eats, and how her senses have been enhanced. Sadly, she can’t remember what she does as a werewolf or stop herself from doing certain things.

> Meet Finnchaem! Preferably goes by Finn or Finnie, she’s a musically talented werewolf from Ireland. She’s a monster on the drums, though she works part-time as a bartender at Roxy’s bar and hotel. As for how her personality goes, she’s generally a very relaxed woman to be around. Always ready to open up in conversation, though keeps herself pretty quiet for most of the time.

> As for the wolf within her? Unlike a certain courier, Finn retains full control over herself, though the full moon controls her transformations. In Irish folklore, werewolves are seen as protective guardians, and Finn sees herself as just that with her friends. She is one to keep as a loyal companion, however she brings teeth to the table if harmed.

Something told Finn that this “love song” being played on the radio was just to kick start February. What a terrible place to play a song like that. A bar like this either had patrons wanting to escape from Cupid’s terrible games. But, of course, there had to be someone who have picked this with a terribly drunken mindset.

Spotting her across the bar, the wolf seemed to notice a woman downing more shots than any other person at the bar table. The song was putting most people in a sour, depressed mood. And it was pretty obvious with the stranger. That was the emotional scent she could get from everyone collectively.

Slowly, she moved herself to sit next to the woman, feeling some sympathy for how she felt. Maybe she could help her...

“Long night for you, huh?” She spoke to the woman. “A poorly picked song for a time like this... I understand how you feel.”

Drabble Me

“Eh? You want to spend a night out? Where’s Ashton, shouldn’t she be with ya?”

The werewolf looked a little surprised at the Pyro’s request to spend some time with her, though she didn’t mind it much. She didn’t have a drinking buddy. Couldn’t hurt to have one, right?

“I s’ppose a drink or two wouldn’t hurt,” she chuckled to herself. “Plus, this Pyro’s got some brains.” Finn let out a deep sigh, adjusting her collared shirt and tucking some hair behind her ears.

“Well, Ignis? The night’s free. No moon’s gonna mess with me, so you’re safe. Hehe.” That chuckle didn’t sound right. What did she mean by that?

A few hours had passed and the duo were at her favorite local pub that was closest to her location. Ignis and Finn were resting at the bar table and a few shot glasses were already empty. They were flipped and set in front of her for the bartender to refill. Surprisingly enough, she was on her fourth shot.

“I assume this ain’t your first time,” she laughed. “So, what brings you here? Nothin’ much to talk about?”

Some silence passed as the two talked to each other. Curiously, she knew about Ashton’s relationship with him. “Before you leave, make sure you don’t forget about her at all. She’s a baby, but you probably already know that. Just make sure she’s a loved baby.”

Personal Conflicts/Trials (pt. 2)

Elizabeth - The struggle of keeping up her identity while, in reality, being Harriet Jekyll. Like the OG Novella Henry Jekyll, Edward Hyde was himself keeping up an identity to do as he pleased. However, with her tendency to be stubborn and to be more emotional than Harriet, there are some times where she thinks she isn’t who she really is. That she is just a facade and isn’t herself. She doesn’t want to be Harriet Jekyll, she wants to be Elizabeth Hyde.

Elva - Physical abuse and the loss of a father. She took part with her mother in raising the family along with raising money to keep the family up.

Ember - Loss of her family and her curse as a Yuki-onna. By this point in life, she lives the way she lives it, and she knows that she lives longer than humans. She lives with the knowledge that her family is gone and she has no idea where they are now.

Finnchaem - The curse of being a werewolf. Finn suffered from continuous bullying through her childhood and still gets it to this day. She has grown used to it and blocks it out, however she’s afraid of her ownself when a werewolf. She has no control over it and is afraid she’ll kill someone if she loses it.

Flute - Her arrogance and stubborness. She’s grown up around a whole flock of Gryphons and has been taught over the years of her life how to fight and become an extraordinary warrior. But her personal problem is how stuck up she can be. She hates being on the losing side

Harriet - The judgement from her peers due to her Jekyll lineage. Since she is a descendant of Henry Jekyll, she’s a well-off person and has a steady job while working to find a true significant other. But she also has the other half of herself; Elizabeth Hyde. She also suffers with the knowledge that she can never bear any children in her life, as she was born infertile. She has adopted two little kitties; Caramel, her Ragdoll - Calico mixed cat, and Koki.

Heidi - Depression and the wish to be perfect body-wise. She was young going into college and suffered from gossiping about herself by other students during the first two years there. She also had a habit of putting herself down and degrading herself during her state of depression.

Indigo - Dealing with the Devil and cursing herself to be immortal with the cost of her soul. She doesn’t feel human emotion or positive feelings about other people. She is no longer considered human with how disfigured she looked since the Black Plague. And she had been alive at the same time Vera took control and plagued Europe with the disease.

Iris - Running away from home from a physically abusive mother and having a corrupted form. Normally, she would be a physical ideal form of beauty and perfection. However, she is now seen as a monster. She also suffers from genetic anxiety on her father’s side.

Ivonne - Discrimination because of her race as a Kobold. While on the job, she has people holler at her (or cat-call, because of her fit form). They call her names and usually call her a lap dog for being in the police force and having a canine appearance.

> Elizabeth loves people who have characteristics that make them stand out. She looks for bright colors, or ones that are rare. She likes people who have toned muscles, etc. Basically, your ideal model, male or female.

> Finnchaem prefers people who keep themselves clean. To add onto this, she finds no interest in people who have acne, have body fat literally everywhere (and she means everywhere, but she’ll let belly fat and thighs slide).

025. What do they consider beautiful in others personality-wise?

> Indigo finds independence a beautiful personality trait. She loves a man who doesn’t need her to babysit them 24/7, but also takes general kindness and caring for someone as beautiful. She may not seem like she enjoys it, but deep inside, she does.

026. What do they consider ugly in others personality-wise?

> Harriet finds stubbornness and being judgmental not ‘ugly’ personality traits, but more of unpleasant. After experiencing people who were quick to judge because of her great-grandfather’s past, she strays away from those who are quick to jump to conclusions.

Ho ho ho! A bundle of gifts! A steak for Tanith (check the fridge), a horse blanket for September, a whetstone for Vera, and a chew toy for Boo! Iris received a pair of coral earrings with a matching necklace, and Finn got a bone. A small stocking with Luna's name on it hung by the fireplace, containing a single lump of coal.

Tanith, with the biggest smile on her face, physically hugged her fridge with a wag of her tail.

“This blanket is... it’s so soft! And cozy!” She exclaimed, hugging the large blanket in her arms. September was laying on her bed and, surprisingly enough, her blanket was covering her entirely. And it felt so warm and soft to touch. She loved it!

Vera held the gift in both hands and smiled. “Now this is perfect. Thank you for the present. I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”

“I love the jewelry you got me!” Iris exclaimed. “It’s perfect!” She hugged the small box to her chest, smiling brightly.

“Thank God it ain’t a milkbone, but... it’ll do.” Quietly, Finn begins to munch on the bone, hoping no one was looking.

“Hmph! So much for trying to be a good little girl this year!” Luna frowned, folding her arms across her chest and turning away from her stocking.

“I’ve always heard of transforming being super painful, but I never felt that before! My first time, it was like... a tingle. The glamour didn’t cause me any pain, it went by in the snap of a finger! It was like being covered in lots and lots of glitter.”

“My first time? It was... painful. Very painful. I couldn’t exactly ‘hold it in’, or it would just amp up the pain even more. Afterwards, I still... felt like it was still me. Just in a better form. I could smell everything, hear everything, it... was amazing. Scary, but amazing.”
