dark justiciar shadowheart is genuinely so interesting to me as like... a facet to her character. like it really hammers home how desperate she is for shar's love and affection (+ the validation and love from other worshipers of shar). like in a lot of ways I get that it seems shocking to others / some fans because it really does contradict some of the morals we see her express BUT imo that just speaks to the level of desperation she feels. her comments on how shar "must" love her for her to survive the shadowcursed lands, or the bit where she talks about shar nurturing her and loving her and sounds... almost more like shes trying to convince herself more than shes trying to convince you. theres a bit about other sharrans not thinking she had earned her name, and of course the mother superior not thinking she was ready / worthy of being a dark justiciar. like shes just so completely desperate to feel unconditionally and securely loved, and to earn the approval of others that shes entirely willing to injure herself in the process (as well as.... the people who actually love her, of course).
not to mention that mechanically, afaik, she can only end up there if shes encouraged to by the player. ie... she needs to know someone else approves.

Ok ok obsessing rn over a detail in Cellbit's behavior after aligning with the Federation
He was able to keep it together very well and avoid any slip ups in speaking when it came to selling the part of a Federation loyalist, but there were a few moments when he did slip and I'm making it your business
When Cucurucho told him to break Forever's XP farm, he had a very visible reaction showing that this act held weight to him. Cellbit tells Cucurucho that he's "not able to do something like that" because he doesn't have the permissions to get into that area. And when he's informed that the Federation can give him the ability to do so, his face is very somber, almost like he's disappointed. He really didn't want to do that to Forever. And even though he said he couldn't do it cause of Create mod reasons, I'd like to think him "not being able to do something like that" was a slip up that he quickly recovered from by saying it was cause of the permissions. Trying to pitch it that he couldn't do it because of physical reasons, rather than emotional ones.
Then Cellbit and Quackity get to the farm. Quackity hates Forever for the Richarlyson situation and is eager to place TNT and blow up the whole thing, and how does Cellbit respond?
"Don't explode this, its gonna fuck him up"
He slips. Big time. And it goes to show that luck can really save your ass cause not only was Quackity too distracted by the mobs to hear it, but Cellbit had the perfect in-character reason for stopping Quackity; because the Federation only told him to get rid of the spawners, and to leave one intact. It was the perfect excuse, Cellbit is a perfect loyal peon and he wants to do things exactly as the Federation tells him to, nothing more. They didn't tell him to explode the whole room, so Quackity can't be allowed. They told him to keep one spawner intact, and TNT could accidentally blow up all of them, so Quackity must be stopped. Forever's farm must be protected. It all just so happens to coincide with Cellbit's personal reasons for not wanting Quackity to completely destroy it all.
Cellbit always cared about Forever, no amount of acting skills and strategy could hide that. Just luck.

If your Tav was a companion, would their personality get them routinely killed by the playerbase and why?
This is specifically about things they would do and say, not their demographic or tropes they fall into (i.e. "they are a gnome, so YEET" is a no, but "they wake the player up in the middle of the night to kill a horde of spiders they accidentally led to camp, so YEET" is a yes).

it's not that deep but the ground is soft and all that jazz, so i desperately wish to do a loose rewrite of wyll's arc because there are so many little details that could be added to make it hit harder. just. agh. so many gaps. so much potential. angst and headcanon bait practically.
how were the first days of exile for him? who were his childhood friends and where are they now? how much does he truly believe some of the stuff he says, and how much is just for the show? how does he truly feel about his father in arc three and after the game ends (depending on your choices, of course)? what is his relationship with his body like after it's been changed? you can literally go so deep.
my man barely is barely given the opportunity to acknowledge any conflicting emotions that he might have about things from his past without player input, and i get that it's so that your special little tav guy can feel even more special by helping him, but i'd personally prefer to see him struggle without that kind of guidance
