So, if you don’t know, the concert for Ema ni Negai wo! Full Edition has been underway even though the Blu-ray isn’t being released until June. So there’s been a lot of new songs performed live only! I have been transcribing/collecting lyrics from various live repos and translating them. These songs are not specifically in order, and some have TN to give context to them.

Since I bough a laser cutter. I always wanted to make a 絵馬(ema - small wooden plaques, common in Japan to write your wish, dream and goals)

This one I made is a Summer greetings card called 暑中見舞(Shochūmima) originally it’s common to send a gift box which is usually sent to family, friends who you haven’t seen for a long time and people who has been close and helpful wishing them a safe summer.

But though a unique card is fun to send and receive as will.

本日は友人と鹿島神宮さんに初詣。

自分のデザインした絵馬を頒布していただいて本当に感謝と嬉しい気持ちでいっぱいです…！

帰りは東京駅でお猪口を持ち込んでの焼き鳥ごはん。

こちらの酒盃は古松淳志さんの作品で、一番好きな恐竜であるステゴサウルスの骨格を描いてもらったものです。出土された化石感が非常に好み。今年はこの子と共に良い年にしたいです😆🍶

Today I visit the Kashima Jingu Shrine with a friend.I am really grateful and happy that they distributed the ema I designed...!

On the way back to the home, we had a yakitori dinner with my favorite sake cup.This sake cup is made by Atsushi Furumatsu, which is drawn the skeleton of my favorite dinosaur, Stegosaurus. I hope to have a good time with this cup in this year 😆🍶.

東方名華祭17新作 東方筆絵絵馬

今週末、2023年6月25日に名古屋で開催の「東方名華祭17」新作 【東方筆絵絵馬】です！ 四季映姫・天子・妹紅の3種類です。

３つ全部を飾ってもよし、一つに決めて飾ってもよし！ ______

昔から「絵馬」のデザインが好きなんです。 小さな定型の木の板に描かれた、あの美しい和の絵柄！ 神社それぞれの個性、思った以上に絵柄の方向も違ったりして、 偶々訪れた神社で、そこにしかない絵馬のデザイン、素晴らしい筆文字、白インクの素敵な使い方に見とれてしまうこともしばしばです。 絵馬の「和の存在感」が好きで、 何枚持っていてもいい「絵馬のようなもの」を作ってみました。 私のような、絵馬の存在感が好きな方にお手に取っていただければ幸いです。

印刷の仕様上、フルカラーにすることもできましたが、黒と赤と白、疑似金(黄土色)と他、絞りに絞った色数の「引き算」のマットな美しさを出せればと思いました。

絵柄はもちろん、筆の字も全て墨と筆で描いております。

 光岡自動車富山ショールームにコンセプトカーが展示されると知り、出掛けてきた。M55 CONCEPTと呼ばれるその車。 ベースは日産シビックだそうだ。もう少し派手な配色のバージョンも見て見たい。 光岡自動車というと、やはりクラシックな車が似合う。ラストの写真は蛙みたいで愛嬌ある。   大岩山日石寺の干支の絵馬。ここ毎年写真に収めている。神様にすがりたくもなる。そんな気持ち。
