Note
How often do you post?
As a writer myself I feel inadequate when I see people post a ton. I’m trying to get the second chapter out on my first series but it’s taking forever the first chapter was posted a month ago. I feel bad for my readers. -🦩
I don't really have a set posting schedule anymore. If I have the content, I would try to post 2 times a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) but in the reality of it all, I rarely have that much content to push out these days.
In 2023, my muse and writing time was very inconsistent, and it can be seen in the chart below that displays my posts per month for 2023 - this includes fics and imagines (but does not include NSFW Alphabets).
Tumblr media
As you can see, there are months where I posted less than 5 times (January, June, August, October, November and December) others more than 16 (March). Those low post months can be very discouraging, especially when you see people posting a lot of fics in a short period of time - ex this holiday season I saw a lot of people writing anthology collections for the holidays. They were posting almost daily! And here I was struggling to get 3 fics out! And that's a completely natural feeling to have. Sometimes it just takes longer to make content and that's okay!
There are so many factors that come into play when you get to write and post. Work, family, friends, wellness, motivation. They will all cut into your writing time. And please remember, that all of those thing should be a priority before a blog on Tumblr. This is a hobby, for fun, this is not a job. With that said, let me show you how those things influenced my writing in 2023 by comparing 2 months: April and December. The following are my stats for April:
Tumblr media
I wrote 5 imagines for my 300 Follower Celebration and posted 5 fics for Road Wife and one Stand Alone Fic: Daddy Dunn. The shortest post was 528 words, the longest being 7735. The Average Word Count was: 2334 Words.
During this time, I was working 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. My job was not demanding, with a lot of downtime that allowed me to write multiple short fics during my work day.
April is also a month that is not busy for me, I have no family obligation (birthdays, anniversaries etc). which gave me more free time after working hours to write. Burn out was non existent.
The following are my stats for December:
Tumblr media
I wrote 3 fics in December. I had no events active on my blog this month - yes, I've been avoiding finishing my 500 follower celebration posts but I swear I will get those done in 2024. ANYWAY. The Shortest fic was 826 words, the longest being 12,164. The Average Word Count was: 4753.
During this time, I was training at a new job, working 8:30am - 4:00pm. I spent many of my evenings studying. I no longer had time to write during work with the exception of the occasional work break. I also began the transition to working shift work. Burnout has been high (since October/November which also saw me writing 2 and 3 fics respectively) Which means I have also been focusing more on my self care and other hobbies that are a little less taxing.
December is also a busy month in regards to family with needing to shop for Christmas, celebrating Christmas, as well as the new year.
Now, this has been a very long and very detailed way to sum up one single statement - how often you post will be dependent on the writer and often things out of their control. But I did want to show how variable those things can be instead of just spouting off random factors without proof as to how things have influenced my ability to write and post.
Feel free to reach out again if you have any further questions!

'Christopher Nolan’s film “Oppenheimer” has focused new attention on the legacies of the Manhattan Project – the World War II program to develop nuclear weapons. As the anniversaries of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on Aug. 6 and Aug. 9, 1945, approach, it’s a timely moment to look further at dilemmas wrought by the creation of the atomic bomb.
The Manhattan Project spawned a trinity of interconnected legacies. It initiated a global arms race that threatens the survival of humanity and the planet as we know it. It also led to widespread public health and environmental damage from nuclear weapons production and testing. And it generated a culture of governmental secrecy with troubling political consequences.
As a researcher examining communication in science, technology, energy and environmental contexts, I’ve studied these legacies of nuclear weapons production. From 2000 to 2005, I also served on a citizen advisory board that provides input to federal and state officials on a massive environmental cleanup program at the Hanford nuclear site in Washington state that continues today.
Hanford is less well known than Los Alamos, New Mexico, where scientists designed the first atomic weapons, but it was also crucial to the Manhattan Project. There, an enormous, secret industrial facility produced the plutonium fuel for the Trinity test on July 16, 1945, and the bomb that incinerated Nagasaki a few weeks later. (The Hiroshima bomb was fueled by uranium produced in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, at another of the principal Manhattan Project sites.)
Later, workers at Hanford made most of the plutonium used in the U.S. nuclear arsenal throughout the Cold War. In the process, Hanford became one of the most contaminated places on Earth. Total cleanup costs are projected to reach up to US$640 billion, and the job won’t be completed for decades, if ever.
Victims of nuclear tests
Nuclear weapons production and testing have harmed public health and the environment in multiple ways. For example, a new study released in preprint form in July 2023 while awaiting scientific peer review finds that fallout from the Trinity nuclear test reached 46 U.S. states and parts of Canada and Mexico.
Dozens of families who lived near the site – many of them Hispanic or Indigenous – were unknowingly exposed to radioactive contamination. So far, they have not been included in the federal program to compensate uranium miners and “downwinders” who developed radiation-linked illnesses after exposure to later atmospheric nuclear tests.
On July 27, 2023, however, the U.S. Senate voted to extend the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act and expand it to communities near the Trinity test site in New Mexico. A companion bill is under consideration in the House of Representatives.
The largest above-ground U.S. tests, along with tests conducted underwater, took place in the Pacific islands. Meanwhile, the Soviet Union and other nations conducted their own testing programs. Globally through 2017, nuclear-armed nations exploded 528 weapons above ground or underwater, and an additional 1,528 underground.
Estimating how many people have suffered health effects from these tests is notoriously difficult. So is accounting for disruptions to communities that were displaced by these experiments.
Polluted soil and water
Nuclear weapons production has also exposed many people, communities and ecosystems to radiological and toxic chemical pollution. Here, Hanford offers troubling lessons.
Starting in 1944, workers at the remote site in eastern Washington state irradiated uranium fuel in reactors and then dissolved it in acid to extract its plutonium content. Hanford’s nine reactors, located along the Columbia River to provide a source of cooling water, discharged water contaminated with radioactive and hazardous chemicals into the river through 1987, when the last operating reactor was shut down.
Extracting plutonium from the irradiated fuel, an activity called reprocessing, generated 56 million gallons of liquid waste laced with radioactive and chemical poisons. The wastes were stored in underground tanks designed to last 25 years, based on an assumption that a disposal solution would be developed later.
Seventy-eight years after the first tank was built, that solution remains elusive. A project to vitrify, or embed tank wastes in glass for permanent disposal, has been mired in technical, managerial and political difficulties, and repeatedly threatened with cancellation.
Now, officials are considering mixing some radioactive sludges with concrete grout and shipping them elsewhere for disposal – or perhaps leaving them in the tanks. Critics regard those proposals as risky compromises. Meanwhile, an estimated 1 million gallons of liquid waste have leaked from some tanks into the ground, threatening the Columbia River, a backbone of the Pacific Northwest’s economy and ecology.
Radioactive trash still litters parts of Hanford. Irradiated bodies of laboratory animals were buried there. The site houses radioactive debris ranging from medical waste to propulsion reactors from decommissioned submarines and parts of the reactor that partially melted down at Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania in 1979. Advocates for a full Hanford cleanup warn that without such a commitment, the site will become a “national sacrifice zone,” a place abandoned in the name of national security.
A culture of secrecy
As the movie “Oppenheimer” shows, government secrecy has shrouded nuclear weapons activities from their inception. Clearly, the science and technology of those weapons have dangerous potential and require careful safeguarding. But as I’ve argued previously, the principle of secrecy quickly expanded more broadly. Here again, Hanford provides an example.
Hanford’s reactor fuel was sometimes reprocessed before its most-highly radioactive isotopes had time to decay. In the 1940s and 1950s, managers knowingly released toxic gases into the air, contaminating farmlands and pastures downwind. Some releases supported an effort to monitor Soviet nuclear progress. By tracking deliberate emissions from Hanford, scientists learned better how to spot and evaluate Soviet nuclear tests.
In the mid-1980s, local residents grew suspicious about an apparent excess of illnesses and deaths in their community. Initially, strict secrecy – reinforced by the region’s economic dependence on the Hanford site – made it hard for concerned citizens to get information.
Once the curtain of secrecy was partially lifted under pressure from area residents and journalists, public outrage prompted two major health effects studies that engendered fierce controversy. By the close of the decade, more than 3,500 “downwinders” had filed lawsuits related to illnesses they attributed to Hanford. A judge finally dismissed the case in 2016 after awarding limited compensation to a handful of plaintiffs, leaving a bitter legacy of legal disputes and personal anguish.
Cautionary legacies
Currently active atomic weapons facilities also have seen their share of nuclear and toxic chemical contamination. Among them, Los Alamos National Laboratory – home to Oppenheimer’s original compound, and now a site for both military and civilian research – has contended with groundwater pollution, workplace hazards related to the toxic metal beryllium, and gaps in emergency planning and worker safety procedures.
As Nolan’s film recounts, J. Robert Oppenheimer and many other Manhattan Project scientists had deep concerns about how their work might create unprecedented dangers. Looking at the legacies of the Trinity test, I wonder whether any of them imagined the scale and scope of those outcomes.'

Welcome to the 6th day of the Tournament of Champions! We have Zach Newkirk, Jessica Stephens, and Sam Buttrey. It’s also the final quarterfinal game! As you all know 2 years ago, Zach was unable to return for his 5th game on 9/14/2020, so he returned on 1/28/2021 for his 5th game and defeated Brian Chang. He then won the next game and lost on 2/1/2021. A year ago, Jessica Stephens ended Matt Amodio’s streak, but lost to Jonathan Fisher. She then won the Second Chance competition. Sam Buttrey (Steve Martin’s look-alike) was the winner of last year’s Professors Tournament. Sam had a big lead in the Jeopardy! round. In “D” IN SCIENCE, Sam found the round’s Daily Double, he went “all-in” out of his $3,400 and came up with an incorrect question. There was one triple stumper and 4 rebounds in the round. Going into Double Jeopardy!, Sam had $8,000, Zach had $2,200, and Jessica had neg. $1,400. In Double Jeopardy!, Zach made a comeback, but failed at the end of the round. In BRIT BITS, Sam found the round’s 1st Daily Double, he bet $2,000 out of his $8,400 and came up with the correct question. In IN THAT NOVEL, Zach found the round’s 2nd Daily Double, he bet $7,000 out of his $9,000 and came up with an incorrect question. There were 5 triple stumpers and 3 rebounds. Going into Final Jeopardy!, Sam had $19,600, Zach had $5,200, and Jessica had neg. $5,800. Poor Jessica, she never did got herself out of the negative situation, and what that means is that she will not participate in Final Jeopardy!, and will receive $5,000. The category is PHRASES FROM THE ANCIENT WORLD. The clue was, “Cicero wrote that a tyrant ordered this to be hung from the ceiling "by a horse-hair"; his guest begged to leave”. Zach came up with, “What is the sword of Damocles?”, which is correct and bet $528, which took him to $5,728. Sam also came up with what Zach said and bet $0, in which he stood at $19,600. Sam Buttrey moves on to the semifinals! Zach Newkirk will receive $5,000. We will have an exhibition game and the 2nd anniversary of Alex Trebek’s passing tomorrow. @jeopardy #kenjennings #tournamentofchampions #recap #2022 https://www.instagram.com/p/CksJWGKOPMm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Support Point Farming
Updated: November 10, 2021
Want to farm some Support Points in hopes of getting some delicious random four-star memoria? Well, here is a quick guide!
When To Farm?
The best time to farm for Support are during events where costs for battles is halved and the Support Point reward is doubled. You can check the news for when these events are being run; here is the banner you should look for:
Tumblr media
You can generally you can expect this banner to occur during new chapter releases (for the Main Story only), during Anniversaries, and during very special Events such as the New Years Celebrations. You can also occasionally see this pop up during “_____ Days Since Release!” Campaigns (example here).
If you want a better idea of when to expect a Halved AP / Double Support event to occur, please check out the valuable resource that is Kamihama Clock Tower. This site has timers which show the duration of current events, when new events are expected to start, when Anniversaries will begin, and when a login event can be expected to occur.
It’s not recommended to farm for Support points outside of this. Instead, you should plan on saving your AP potions with the intent to spend them for big events like this.
Where to Farm?
So you’ve got a Halved-AP/Double Support Campaign going on! Now what?
It’s time to farm of course! However, the first step here is that you should decide is what kind of farming you’re going to do. Here are the options:
Farm for Materials: You’re choosing specific battles with the goal of getting more Sheep Horns alongside getting those valuable Support Points. The bonus here is that you’re gathering material you might need for your units (or might need in the future), but the problem is that this isn’t the most efficient way of getting that tasty SP.
Farm for Shards: You’re choosing low-AP battles to farm SP and also for the smaller Shards.
Farm for SP: You’re choosing low-AP battles with the sole purpose of getting Support Points. All you’re going to get here are a thousand+ Aqua Orbs+.
I’m going to cover the third option. The fastest options for farming SP would be either:
1-1-3-4 (fight a single Yachiyo)
or
1-2-1-4 (fight a single Rena)
The second option is slightly faster, as Rena has a shorter intro fight animation than Yachiyo does. Note that these will be for Arc 1 and are not Challenge mode fights.
What Character to Use?
If you’re doing the third option, then use whoever you want. Even Konomi Haruna can one-shot Rena or Yachiyo here.
Additionally, turn off the options for using your skills/connects (like this)
Tumblr media
Just remember to turn these features back on when you’re done!
Choosing A Support
Tumblr media
The support you use should ideally have high damage, but the most important thing is to make sure they are a mutual. That means you have the blue icon, as shown above (near where you see the +60 Support Point notice).
This whole activity is pointless if you don’t use a mutual-- otherwise, you’re no longer getting 60 Support Points per battle...
Tumblr media
...but 20.
That’s worse than when you use a mutual without a Double-AP Campaign bonus. So make sure you’re always using a Mutual for this!
Lastly: AP Pots and Blue AUTO
The last thing to note here is that you can use a bunch of AP potions in preparation for your farming. Just keep drinking those pots until you can’t anymore:
Tumblr media
You can see I was able to get to 528 Action Points there^
Pick a good Support and then use the Blue Auto button and leave your game in a nice place while you busy yourself for the next hour.
Last Minute Thoughts
If you have an old phone (like I do) then it’s gonna suffer through this and it’s a really good battery drain. I like to set the screen brightness to the lowest it can go so that it doesn’t completely die on me.
There is no pity system for the Support Gacha. I’ve spend 50 full AP pots before and got nothing except for crappy gems and pitiful 1* memoria-- and conversely, I’ve spent one AP pot and gotten three four-star memoria in one pull. It’s all based on luck. Additionally, you can get a four-star memoria but there is no guarantee it’s a four-star memoria you actually want. This is something to do if you just want more four-star memoria or if you want to collect some personal memoria (again, with no guarantee that you’ll get any or even get what you want). Don’t feel like you need to do this, especially if you’re low on AP pots. It might be wiser to save those for future events, especially if you’re the kind of person to do everything last minute.
You can use characters who need Episode Level XP, but I find the return you get to be extremely low. Personally, I’d rather use a character who kills things faster and use the Clear Albums to level girls-- but there’s nothing wrong with trying to maximize the amount of stuff you accomplish while farming!
Conclusion
I think that’s about everything? I apologize if I wrote a guide that no one needs (or if there are multiple errors in here, I haven’t slept in a while [again]). If you have a correction or a suggestion, please leave a reply or reblog this post and I’ll edit it in later!

ph_25yoe.wad: Doom II: 25 Years on Earth (One Year Late Edition) MAP16: Unruly Cargo (-236, 528, -128) Author: James "Phobus" Cresswell Date: 2020-09-20 Description: To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the introduction of such wonders as the Super Shotgun and Arch Vile, I present a brand new, limit-removing megaWAD, which uses every line and sector action at least once! Difficulty starts low and gradually builds through this set as your journey unfolds across a planet lost to Hell 25 years ago. Will this be the mission that finally defeats the demons? No jumping or crouching, please! Do feel free to use mouse look (I do), and if gameplay mods are your thing, go ahead - this should be compatible with everything. The megaWAD is designed for continuous play, but every map is beatable from pistol starts if that's how you prefer to do things!
