ah! i think only for Fitzroy so far? but I'd love to share them here for those of you who are interested!

As you know I HC Fitzroy as mixed race mex-am (mestizo specifically) I have a lot of thoughts about him and assimilation (and being a child of immigrants) and his character arc but I will save that for another time fjfjfjf ;w; I hc Rainer as afro-mexicana, because besties <333 and I think it would be nice for them to have culture being an important thing they share together! (This relates to his character arc I mentioned and having a safe place to explore his culture with someone but AGAIN for another time </3) In the human au Argo is White/Filipino/Afro-Cuban, (don't ask me if all of them are going to be Latine and/or mixed race in some way or another you should know by now the answer is going to be yes, it’s my comfort media and I make the rules now 😔💕) For Gary I tried to consider the accent Justin gave him so I made him Russian Sámi/Peruvian(mestizo) (and also maybe Jewish because I love my gf very much and i gotta mention it just for him <3 )

Are you good at Spanish? I’m not. I can understand it well but can hardly speak it. But god whenever I see my cat I compliment him in every Spanish word I know. I really only ever talk to him in Spanish.

I would say I’m mediocre? Like for sure I understand better than I speak it as you said, and sometimes I definitely surprise myself with how much I know, but then I’m like oh yeah! This was my first language until I had to go into the American school system and English was priority so it’s still kinda ingrained in my subconscious. But even now I think the lack of confidence is where I end up fucking up the most? And after a week or two of visiting family in Mexico and speaking pure Spanish I end up improving immensely! So immersion really does help a shit ton! But yeah I would say I’m on a moving scale of mediocracy BAJAJAJAA, mostly cause the Spanish I learned was never “proper” and consists of a lot of slang And mannerisms from my dads pueblo since him and his family are the main source of me and my sisters Spanish learning growing up, while my mom is what I would say the perfect example of bilingualism! I would love to get to her level one day, like having philosophical and political and meaningful conversations in both languages, not just one. But yeah!! I want to improve a lot tho and practice with friends and family more :-]
