Let’s talk about our mysterious 6th Mural dude. Most, if not all, of this is speculation, because we really don’t know Anything about the 6th Mural Megastar.

There’s a Sixth Mural card in Tatiana’s Office, depicting a dude straight out of the 1940s with sunglasses, and fedora. We never meet this man. The Dude has Jazz Hands.

Fan theories suggest that the Sixth / Mr. 6 mural could be an Electro-swing artist, judging by his rather Noir aesthetic.

Notice in the Blackout Cutscene. There’s a total of Six small towers, with NSR Tower being Seven, that regain power. We do have a Sixth Megastar / Elite that we never meet up.

Notice the Satellite. There are 6 places, and Tatiana isn’t one of them. Seems our Mr. 6 got kicked from the list when BBJ hit the scene. Looking like he would’ve been the actual number 6.

Each of the Murals depicts an artist, but the frame / background suggests their districts / stadiums. Mr. 6′s is dark and smokey, possibly even brown? Only district I can think of is the area where BBJ’s hideout is...

Mr. 6 may have powers over smoke. Well if he mimics Film noire to any degree, Grayscale, Smoke and Darkness are gonna be his forte. As well as back alleys, rainy and abandoned streets (Consider where BBJ is coming from, which is made of nothing but back alleys)

If Mr. 6 is still currently a megastar, there’s a chance that his district lies on the outskirts of Vinyl City, more inland than Metro Division. That could be why BBJ never ran into him, he just wasn’t in their way to NSR Tower. And if the theory above indicates anything, he could be the Megastar of the unknown District just outside of Festival Plaza.

Another reason that BBJ didn’t face him, is that pissing off the charter of your own district would probably be reeeally bad news if said Charter knew where your hideout was. Perhaps 6 and Kliff had enough history that Kliff didn’t feel the need to send BBJ after him?

If BBJ’s district really is bad with blackouts, Mr. 6′s work could be cut out for him regarding keeping everything together, ESPECIALLY if he’s both outskirts and the “nonessential” districts.

Its unknown why Mr. 6 wouldn’t attend the Lights Out. Perhaps he had a concert at the time and Tatiana filled in his place? It’d also be unknown that, if Mr. 6′s district was before Festival Plaza, why he’s not called on to face off BBJ (Though again, it could be because he’s actually busy keeping the city up, and would likely (and eventually was) the last NSR Megastar standing by the end) At no point in the game was it or implied that the Lights Out was replacing a Megastar, only to prove a band worthy of entering NSR. I imagine there are plenty of minor bands around, like BBJ’s competition (Or the mysterious dude that Zuke once talked about), that we never see.

Film Noir is aaaall about how an underlying system, or Order, has an inescapable corruption. Film Noir is also born out of French media, German Expressionism, and Post-WW2 American Depression. Imagine that. And just when we thought that BBJ’s revolution against a corrupt system was original.

If the Trivia about all the Bosses is true, and that they really do mimic the Six Infinity Stones; Mr. 6′s would, ironically, probably be the Ego Stone (The mysterious number 7). So... maybe he has powers over possession?

Let’s face it, when you think of Vinyl in regards to music, you’re gonna be thinking of those record discs. Smooth Jazz will be deployed.

There could be a couple of reasons why Mr. 6 didn’t show up for the finale: # He was in the outskirts, and we didn’t see him. # BBJ never faced him, so there’s no reason to suggest that he’d be close to them (After all, they did beat the hell out of his coworkers). # He might not have needed to go big. # He could’ve been on the ground, helping evacuation or sheltering. # If he’s a Nighttime guy, he might’ve just been asleep through the entire thing (humorously enough) # We the player never faced him, so its irrelevant to show off a guy we only learned about in the end game mural. # ... Or he’s, y’know, literally standing right behind Mayday and Zuke. Can’t see a guy when you’re focused on the Tower. Post Satellite, he could’ve stuck to the background. I mean, the dude doesn’t know what’s going on, he’d probably be all smokey and mysterious and stuff.

Additional 1010 stuffs. The element Neon is commonly Red-Orange. Since 1010 already has a Red dude, this may indicate that Neon is the Orange guy here (Consider Orange as a symbol; Adventurous, social and flamboyant).

Anyone else notice the similarities between 1010 and the Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force?

No Straight Roads True Review

This is my ACTUAL review of NSR since i bought and completed it.

Plot: (7/10) The plot is fairly generic but done in a refreshing and neat way.

Setting: (10/10) A cyberpunk styled city powered by EDM is kickass, gimme more of this.

Soundtrack: (192370272017203729372927203720272027202729/10) HOLY SHIT. This is definitely the best ost ive heard for a game in years. Absolutely awesome. How the hell did they blend rock and EDM so well?! S+ Tier.

Characters: (9/10) The characters are organic but more interaction between them wouldve been better, like a post credit scene of BBJ and the NSR-tists hanging out.

Final Score: (8/10) The game is great but its rough around the edges and short as hell. Please make more content for this game and fix the bugs. Also STREAM THE OST PLEASE.
