Good god I just woke up, checked to see a rare ping in the XIV Tools server, and it's like that GIF of the dude coming home with the pizza and seeing everything on fire and everyone dead because the Anamnesis devs completely ghosted, and deliberately gave admin rights to someone who hasn't been active since 2022 instead of the Asgard and Chirp, who are actively working with the project and helping keep it stable.

#I dunno if it'll be an eventual CMTools situation where it's eventually sunsetted but we'll learn as we go shall we #Chirp is making Ktisis anyways and the other mods are looking into what happened while Chirp and Asgard keep Anam's ship afloat #they're at least on top of it and trying to get everyone to not freak out since they're gonna look into it and keep everything going #like I'm not freaked out about it but I do wonder what the future holds #everyone and their mother who's a dev for XIV mods has been acting up today I swear even the Glamourer and Mare devs are back on their shit

As someone who has been gposing since everyone was using CMtool its crazy how user friendly the Ktisis plugin is it can do like everything and its so fast to do poses. I used to suffer man...

I was wondering if I could ask about the programs/mods that you use to create your gposes? From asking friends I’ve learned that a couple big ones are anamensis and cmtool.

Your poses are so dynamic and they all look incredible!! It’s been a delight going through your blog and I cannot wait to dive into your fics as well [:

Thank you so much!! 🥰 Anamnesis is the only one I use (but don't tell Yoshi P fsjkdjsjd). I pose everything 100% custom on my own, but there are loads of awesome pre-made poses if you're just starting out! I also Photoshop/edit all my screenshots to get the right colors/lighting/little details here and there (like blush, eye highlights, fluids, etc.).

For making custom poses, looking at photographs is my favorite way to get my poses looking natural/dynamic, so highly recommend doing the same if you're wanting to go the custom pose route like me!

I both love and hate that I figured out CMTool for FFXIV. Love: that I got access to cute poses including some couples ones. Hate: that when doing couples ones, using my Carbuncle as Thancred, that my character won’t stay in her spot when I try to move Carbuncle!Thancred. It’s frustrating as hell trying to get them matched up right when she won’t stay in her right spot. So some poses I gave up on
