arthureames university au.
they live in dorms. they are roommates. arthur wants to graduate summa cum laude. eames wants to have sex with his roommate. these are both very difficult goals to achieve.
eames is majoring in anthropology and minoring in sociology
all of his electives are languages
arthur is majoring in something awful like finance or business
or perhaps Computer Information Systems which is apparently something that exists
arthur assumes eames is a slacker because he's always lounging around their dorm but eames has a 4.0 gpa
eames assumes lots of things about arthur every single day and he tells arthur about each and every one of them
which is annoying not only because it's hard to study with eames yapping in his ear but also because eames is always correct
eames makes it a personal goal to sleep with arthur before arthur graduates (he is set to graduate two years early)
arthur of course decides to kiss eames the moment his commencement ceremony is over
but really. the guy was taking like 8 courses a semester. how was he supposed to have a sex life in those conditions
arthur liked eames from day 1 but he actively chose not to because if he started sleeping with his roommate he would never get anything done
eames meanwhile flirts with arthur for an entire semester before realizing he genuinely has a crush on the guy
shortly after moving in with each other, eames makes some off-hand reference to some obscure art movement, effortlessly and correctly relating it to a book he read recently
arthur nearly breaks his pencil from the strain of not walking over, sitting on eames' lap, and tearing his clothes off
eames thinks arthur hates him but the truth is that arthur is shoving his feelings down so hard that the man is vibrating on a constant basis

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FOR THe love of all that is good please write the how to lose a guy au !!! i will love you with all my heart if you do!!!!
The railing digs into Arthurs' forearms where he rests them on the fire escape, gazing down at Eames as he approaches the waiting taxi.
"Goodnight, Eames," he calls out, stopping the man in his tracks. He whirls around on the spot and waves goodbye to Arthur, a sunny smile on his face.
Hook, line, and sinker.
"You are already falling in love with me," Arthur mutters under his breath, mentally patting himself on the back for a successful first date.
He almost feels bad for Eames. Almost. Sure, he's wooing him under false pretences, but Arthur is genuinely attracted to the guy, he's hardly deceiving him in that regard. And hey, maybe there might be something, after the next week and a half, something to pursue.
Perhaps this won't be such a hardship, after all.
--
Eames drops his hand from its wave, lowering it to his lips.
"I'm going to make you wish you were dead," Eames whispers behind his fingers, blowing a kiss to the man, rewarded with a smile that brings out the dimples in his cheeks.
And he is in.
A shame, they had some real chemistry there. "Poor guy." If only he knew what he had coming to him.
Pity or not, this is going to be Eames best work yet. Nice guys are a dime-a-dozen in NYC. Getting his dream promotion is much rarer and far more valuable. He'll show them.
He enters the taxi, shelving any lingering feelings of regret as he lists off his address. This might even be fun.

Rewatching friends the other day and imagine an au(?) where Arthur and eames hide their relationship in Chandler and monica style until Yusuf puts 2 n 2 together and does a very loud, finger pointing discovery and eames and Arthur tackle him to the ground and begs him to keep it to him but soon Ari does a Rachel and accidentally hears a message kept in phone in slutty slutty tone of Arthur to “Mr eames” to come “do research” and I don’t really see this but after saving his ass saito is like a fix in the group so he sees arthur devouring eames accidentally while visiting them and gets in to the secret and THEN starts the whole “we know that they know that we know” and neither teams is backing down until UNTIL saito wines and dines eames and is about to fake ask him out when eames blurts out “I can’t do this I love Arthur” and the whole gang is happy .... for about 15 mins cause COBB comes in and pulls a Ross “MY BEST FRIEND AND THE BEST FORGER I KNOW??!!” to which Arthur says “don’t worry I really love him and he loves me too” and cobb squints his eyes and breaks in to that sunny smile we all love and goes “my 💓 best 💓 friend 💓 and 💓the 💓best💓 forger 💓I 💓know” please I hope you’ve seen friends and get what I’m saying lmao

Epithet Erased/ Fiends & Fire CYOA AU
(Idea from @ramblings-from-the-ether 's AU poll right here. They chose to make a Prohibition AU, but they let others use the discarded concepts & expand on them.) Link to the CYOA here. (Fair warning, on Imgur & rather long.) Now that the credits are out of the way... This AU takes place in an alternate industrial revolution upset by every supernatural force at once because they weren’t invited to New Year’s celebrations. As a result, organizations church-sponsored, state-sponsored & private formed to combat the darkness.
Now that the basic concepts have been established, the ideas:
-Anyone in their 20s or below are born after the New Year's Bloodletting (the worldwide havoc mentioned above), so that excludes the Neo Trio, Gio, Sylvie & Stink for named characters. -This is Everyone Adopts Molly (EAM) adjacent, so Molly gets all the support she needs. Lorelai's fine, just newly apprenticed in the Roughhouse Witch Coven/Clan to gain some much-needed character development & lessons in how to use her magic responsibly (Gio managed to convince them to take her in when he recognized she was born with magic, there not being many other options for her in Sweet Jazz City). -Bliss Ocean are good guys here! Well, mostly. They do mean well & their Fiend-Hunting skills are genuinely good, but until recently they did not get along with the authorities very well. It's a step-up from the terrorists of Canon. -Rick is a half-Sidhe (this setting's Fae) here. Not a Changeling, a true Human-Sidhe hybrid. Perhaps the only one of his kind, he's still trying to unlearn the promise-&-contract-based morality they have. Naven taking him under his wing has helped immensely.
(Ideas & suggestions are appreciated. Thanks again to @ramblings-from-the-ether for getting this ball rolling. Credit to @epitheterasedgen for popularizing "Everyone Adopts Molly" in the EE fandom.) Edit: I forgot to tag for spoilers. Sorry for everyone who has been spoiled.

Soooo...
Stip poker... with Eames or modern gangster Alfie????? I can't decide 😭🤯
Btw I also don't really know how to play poker 🤣🙈
(also also they are mutually pining idiots 🥰)
That is an incredible difficult decision!
Personally I'd pick Eames. I think he'd try to cheat and be a lot more cheeky about it. 😄
Alfie would also cheat & try to distract you with talking some bullshit. 🤣
But if you don't know how to play... I bet Eames would love to teach you. You know... looking over your shoulder...leaning real close to whisper in your ear 😏

Eames Wins a Bet
Tumblr media
Read the introduction → Eames Hires a New Recruit
Warnings-mentions of sex, undertones of smut. minors not allowed.
Part I
"This is ridiculous," Lila muttered, folding her arms and frowning. She was wearing an elegant green ball gown, looking beautiful but pissed.
"You're just upset because you lost," Eames said, adjusting a cufflink as he looked himself over in the hotel room’s mirror.
"I lost because you cheated," she said, flipping her silky black hair over her shoulder.
“There’s nothing more unattractive than being a bad sport, Lila,” he said, turning to face her.
"Oh, shut up! How would you like a vibrator that isn't under your control stuck up your pussy," she said, walking over to poke him in the chest.
"I don't see how that's my problem, darling," he said, pulling out a small remote from his left pocket. "I think it’s time for a quick test.”
Lila's eyes widened and she lunged for the remote in his hand. The vibrator was big enough to fit snugly inside her opening, with an extension resting on her clit. But not large enough to hinder her from natural movement. Eames moved his hand out of reach and pressed the button.
A strong wave of vibration titillated her pussy and nipped at her clit, causing Lila to gasp. "Fuck…oh, god…Eames!"
“I do love it when you moan my name, dear Lila,” he said, teasing.
"I wasn't moaning your stupid name! I was cursing you! What setting is that thing on?!" she demanded.
Eames glanced down and chuckled. "Oops, it was on high, terribly sorry. Let's test it on low, shall we?"
"Eames, don't you dare-ehhhhuhhh," Lila said, trying to stop him, but it was too late. A softer, but no less arousing current passed through her delicate womanhood. Eames released the button, allowing Lila to regain her composure. She took a deep breath and looked him squarely in the face. “I hate you.” she said with conviction.
Eames looked deep into her eyes and replied, “You know what darling, I don’t give a damn.”
The two thieves glared at each other with mutual frustration. They had once been lovers, more of a fling than an actual relationship, yet it had been fueled by unbridled passion. That had been ten months ago. Recently they had been reunited through a job that Cobb had extended to them both.
Two weeks prior to the job, which was starting that very evening, Arthur was bored. He knew full well the dynamic between Lila and Eames. He considered them very much alike and that’s why they clashed at times. They would argue about how a job should proceed and Lila always thought she was smarter than Eames. It amused Arthur to watch Eames get so flustered over her.
So Arthur concocted a bet, in hopes that Lila would win. But surprisingly, Eames had been successful in the matter. The terms of that bet weren’t privy to Arthur, but between the two contenders it went something like this.
“What happens if I win?” Eames asked, an arm stretched over the length of a leather booth.
“Absolutely nothing, because I will win,” Lila said, sipping her brandy.
“There it is, that fucking annoying thing you do,” he said, pointing a finger at her accusingly.
“What thing? You mean being smarter than you?” she said, smiling innocently.
“No, being cocky,” he said.
“Oh, please. You are the cockiest man I’ve ever met,” she said, rolling her eyes. “Look, I know what I want if I win.”
“Pray tell, I’m just dying to know,” Eames said with mock interest.
“I get to peg you,” she said, leaning forward and skimming the brim of her drinking glass with her index finger while staring at him intently.
Eames blinked and then laughed softly. “Jesus, of course you’d want that. Little miss, I have to be in control of everything.”
“That’s what I want. And yes, in hypothetical terms, if you win, what do you want?”
Eames took a deep breath and thought for a moment. Then he smiled and said, “The gala, the one that Cobb wants us to do the job. You have to wear a vibrator during it.”
“That’s silly. So what if I’m wearing one?”
“I’m in control of the remote,” Eames said, locking her firmly in his gaze.
She squirmed a little in her seat then nodded. “Fine, but it’s not like you’ll win anyway.”
In the end, Lila lost the bet. During their competition, the two had not gotten along well. They were constantly arguing and Lila accused Eames of cheating. That had royally pissed Eames off because he had not cheated. He hated being called something that wasn’t true. Sure, cheeky bastard or English cunt, that was fine. But a liar or cheater? No, absolutely not. And so the two former lovers were at odds.
“Now, why don’t you start acting like a big girl, hmmm?” Eames said, wagging the remote in front of her sharp emerald green eyes. “And come along so we can get this night over with.”
Eames had to admit, she was looking rather stunning. He wouldn’t have minded a quick shag back in the hotel room, but he had a feeling Lila wasn’t in the mood. She was too busy sulking over her loss. If she would have won, it would have been disastrous. She’d probably have found the largest dildo and would have made the whole pegging ordeal unbearable. It was better that he was in control.
During the cab ride they sat in silence. Lila refused to look at Eames, but it didn’t matter. He’d have his fun either way that night. Once they arrived, Eames got out of the cab and then opened Lila’s door. He extended his hand to her and she eventually took it because it was difficult standing up in the dress.
Now on her two feet she pulled her hand away from him in annoyance and glared at him.
“That won’t do,” he chided. “Where’s that beautiful smile?” Eames slipped his hand into his pocket and pressed the button. He watched her shudder, closing her doe eyes, her long lashes pressed upon her chestnut skin, a plump red lip drawn into her mouth as she bit down on it.
Eames watched her intently, she looked devastatingly alluring as she held back a little moan. He let the button go and she sighed. Taking a breath, she smoothed out the front of her dress and then gave Eames a pleasant smile. “There, is that better?” she asked, mockingly.
“Good girl,” Eames said, placing his hand on her lower back and guiding her up the museum’s marble stairs. As they stood in line to enter the gala with their invitations Lila whispered, “You are such an English prick.”
“And you’re a Yankee slut who, if I recall correctly, enjoyed giving me head,” he said under his breath and smiled to the front desk as he provided his invitation.
Upon entering the main hall, Arthur, who was on his first drink spotted Lila and Eames. He sauntered over for some entertainment.
“Well, hello,” he said, raising his glass and then drinking from it. “How’s everything?”
“It couldn’t be better,” Eames said, smugly.
Lila smiled and gave Arthur a hug and kiss on the cheek. “Good to see you, have you been working out?” she said, smoothing a hand over Arthur’s lapel.
Eames knew she was overselling it, probably to make him feel jealous. But he’d remedy that. As she pulled back Eames hit the button. Lila inhaled sharply and bit her lower lip and shuddered.
“She’s perfectly fine,” Eames said, smiling as he released the button.
“Um, you alright Lila?” Arthur asked.
“Oh, give it a rest will you!” she hissed.
“What’s going on?” Arthur asked, confused.
“Nothing, she just has her knickers in a twist over the bet she lost,” Eames said.
Arthur was about to inquire for more information, but Cobb had come up through the crowd to join them.
“Eames, Arthur,” Cobb said, patting them both on the arm. Then upon seeing Lila, Cobb gave her a hug. “Good to see ya, kid.”
“Hi Dom. I know, I know. You told me to call, but I got caught up in some things,” she said.
“Yes, you did, didn’t you, Lila?” Eames said, giving her a cocky smile.
“Oh…you son of a bitch,” she said, glaring at him. “I need a drink.” She turned abruptly to go find the bar.
“Uh, Whisky on the rocks, you remember the brand, don’t you, darling?” Eames said. She spun around and glared at him, but he arched his eyebrow as if to say, “Do you want to test me?”
Lila faltered a moment then said, “Of course, anything for you Ian.” Her tone was dripping with sarcasm and then she headed over to the bar. Both Arthur and Cobb looked at Eames and asked, “What did you do?”
“I won a bet, and she’s paying for it,” he said, shrugging his shoulders.
“Paying for it, how exactly?” Cobb said, putting his hands in his pockets, a look of concern on his face. He had been friends with her father before he died. He watched out for Lila like a little sister.
“I think considering the nature of the relationship you have with her, I’m not going to tell you,” Eames said.
“Jesus, Eames. I need her for the job, okay? Don’t piss her off too much,” Cobb said, sighing heavily.
“What about me? You can tell me, right?” Arthur asked, curiously.
Cobb shook his head, “I’m going to wander off and scout out some of the merchandise, please don’t fuck this up, Ian.” With that said, Cobb drifted back into the crowd.
Eames took a deep breath and simply looked about the party. Arthur stood impatiently, waiting for Eames to divulge what he had done to Lila.
“For christ sakes, what did you do?” Arthur finally said.
“Oh? You want to know?” Eames said, teasingly.
“Fucks sakes,” Arthur said under his breath, then louder he said, “Yes, Eames. I want to know.”
“She’s wearing a vibrator and I have the remote,” Eames said, pulling it out of his pocket.
“Are you serious?” Arthur said with disgust.
“Don’t be so judgy. She wanted to peg me. I think what I’m doing is only fair,” Eames said, defending himself.
“She wanted to peg you?” Arthur said, laughing.
“Yeah, now shut it,” Eames said, watching Lila make her way back to them.
“Here,” she said, handing Eames the whisky tumbler. She took her own glass and chugged it.
“Easy, darling. Don’t get drunk on the job, hmmm?” Eames said, pushing back a stray lock behind her ear.
“Don’t touch me,” she snapped, pushing his hand away. Although, secretly liking his attention.
“So you were going to peg Eames?” Arthur said.
Lila shrugged, “Yes, so? Many men enjoy that sort of thing. Eames would have liked it…eventually.”
“Yeah, let’s stop talking about my ass being pounded, cheers,” Eames said, then took a deep drink from his own glass.
“I think you should at least consider it,” Arthur said, still laughing, tears forming in his eyes.
“Fuck off, Arthur,” Eames said, unamused.
“And yet it's perfectly acceptable for you to be controlling my public orgasms?” Lila said, with the same unamused tone.
“Yes, it is,” Eames said, without hesitation.
“And why is that?” she said, annoyed.
“Because you need to learn a little humility,” Eames said, taking another drink.
“Why? Because she’s smarter than you?” Arthur said, knowing full well it would stoke a fire within Lila.
“Is that what this is all about?” she said, folding her arms and glaring at Eames.
“Fuck…shut up Arthur. Don’t you have something else to be doing besides getting her all riled up?”
“No, not at the moment,” Arthur said, smiling.
“I am smarter than you, does that upset you, Ian?” she said.
“First of all, you’re not. Well, maybe just a little, but that’s not the point. And secondly, you lost the bloody bet so stop trying to get out of it!” Eames said a bit too loudly.
Some people glanced over, but they gradually moved on as the noise in the crowd muffled most of the heat in Eames' voice.
“Well if you hadn’t cheated…” she started to say, but Eames growled and hit the button. He moved in close, pulling her into him. He held her against him as she clutched at his suit and released a sexy moan into his shoulder. He held the button a bit longer, then released it.
“That should cool you off,” Eames said. Arthur blinked and then looked down, his cheeks slightly red from hearing her moan.
“You jerk!” she said, embarrassedly.
“Deal with it, Lila. If it had been the other way around, you’d have been worse,” Eames said.
Lila pushed out her bottom lip and pouted. “This isn’t fair.”

hi! i saw that you write for criminal minds, which i LOVE! would you be willing to write spencer, sneezing in the snow and morgan taking care of him? thanks!
sjkdhf yeah!! this is really short b/c i'm tired and have to leave for a trip in a couple of hours and also just pounded out another fic so. still, please accept and enjoy 0.4K words :)
Their most recent case takes them halfway across the country to Colorado, this time. More specifically, Steamboat Springs, which is a known skiing and snowboarding town. Even more specifically, the BAU is heading out in the dead of winter, when it's consistently around twenty degrees and they're trudging through the snow.
"How the hell does a serial killer even work in this kind of weather?" JJ asks, gritting her teeth together to keep them from chattering as she draws her jacket tighter around herself. "It's freezing."
Instinctively, Morgan turns to Reid, expecting him to chime in with some statistic about how many serial killers are actually active in the winter or something like that, but to his surprise, the kid stays completely silent. He's gritting his teeth, too, but he's actually shaking against the winter air they're in.
"You alright?" he murmurs, sidling closer as Hotch and Rossi start discussing the details of the case with JJ. They're heading to the hotel, all hoping for a single night of rest before they have to be out in the snow tomorrow trying to piece their UnSub together. What Morgan would give to be Garcia right now, back in Quantico and tucked up in a nice, warm, office.
Reid takes a second to actually process the question, but he glances over at Morgan once he does. "What? Oh, no, I'm fine. Just cold." The smile he gives Morgan is tight, and dissolves entirely as he turns into his elbow to let loose on a light couple of sneezes. "it'sch! ish-ish'uh! ischh!"
"Bless," Morgan says, placing a stabilizing hand on his shoulder as he straightens up again, sniffling, his nose already tinted pink by the biting winds. "You sure you're okay, Reid?"
"Just the cold," he repeats, shuffling slightly closer to Morgan to leech off of his body heat. "I'll be much happier once we're in the hotel and out of the snow."
He laughs a bit at that, his breath clouding in the air in front of him. "You and me both, Reid."
Reid tucks himself even closer to Morgan's side, and that's when he actually starts to worry. "Hey," he says, voice soft.
"Hey," Reid mumbles back, then immediately sneezes again. "it'shuu! tshh!"
"Bless," he says again. "What's got you all irritated, huh?"
Reid hums to himself for a moment, oblivious to the way they've fallen slightly behind the rest of their team. Hotch glances back while Reid's busy sneezing, brows furrowing in a silent question. He okay?
I've got him, Morgan communicates tacitly, with nothing more than a head tilt towards Reid and a moment of eye contact. Hotch relaxes and turns back around just as Reid looks back up. "Think it's just the change in temperature from the car to the outside," he says. "I should be fine when we make it back inside."
"If you say so," Morgan says, smiling when Reid shoves him lightly. "Come on, Sneezy, let's catch back up."

October Almost-Drabbles 10/6: Bonfire
Pairing: Arthur/Eames (with a dash of Yusuf/Ariadne)
Word Count: 708
Additional tags: Teenage AU, only slightly fluffy, awkward crushes, not actually unrequited love
I swear, these ficlets just keep getting longer. If this trend continues, I’m gonna have to start putting them under a cut, lol.
———
Sitting around the fire, watching Eames gesticulate throughout his story, Arthur wondered for the dozenth time what kissing him would be like. He was only slightly ashamed to say that he was more captivated by Eames’ lips than he was by his words. So much so that he only realized the tale was finished by the applause of the others around him. He dutifully joined in, hoping they wouldn’t ask him any plot-related questions about it. At this point, only Ariadne knew about his little (aka massive) crush, and he wasn’t exactly keen to tell everyone else. Least of all Eames himself.
“What did you think, Arthur?” Eames asked.
Damn.
“It was… interesting.” Arthur answered lamely. He hoped that would suffice. From Eames’ raised eyebrow, he knew that hope was dashed.
“‘Interesting?’ Such a ringing endorsement. What was your favorite part, then?”
Arthur could feel several pairs of eyes on him. His face felt hot, but at least the light of the fire helped disguise his flushed cheeks. “The, um-“ Think, Arthur, think! And don’t lie; you’re terrible at it! “-the way you tell it.” Eames opened his mouth to reply, but Arthur continued. “The way you tell stories is… really cool. The way you talk, and move your hands. Sometimes I feel like I could listen to you read the phone book and still be entertained.”
The other boy seemed slightly flustered by this. “Ah, well…” he shrugged and scratched at his shorn hair. “I’ve always had a flair for the dramatic, you know.”
“Trust me Eames, we definitely know.” Dom wrapped an arm around his shoulders. “Now come on. I need a hand to help me grab the other cooler out of my truck.”
As he watched them walk back to the cars, Arthur felt a puff of breath against his ear.
“You weren’t actually listening, were you?” Ariadne whispered. He shook his head, eyes still on Eames. “Are you gonna say something to him?” Another head shake. Eames looked back at them. He smiled and waved; Arthur waved back.
Ari let out a groan of frustration. “Pathetic. I’m gonna be a grandma before any real action happens.”
“At least your dress sense won’t change.”
She smacked him. “Asshole,” said with a smile before she headed back over to sit with Yusuf. Her boyfriend kissed her cheek and then handed her a burger. Arthur moved to sit on the other side of the fire, across from them. His own burger was still a bit warm, to his surprise. He took a couple bites, but found that he wasn’t all that hungry.
Someone plopped down on the bench next to him.
“Alright if I sit here?” Eames asked. Arthur coughed, and swallowed his mouthful of food. Probably should have chewed it a bit more, but he got it down.
“Sure,” he smiled, and hoped it wasn’t too awkward-looking. Eames smiled back, so… mission accomplished?
Their attention was quickly drawn back to the fire. To Mal, standing before it, gearing up to tell her own spooky tale. Like Eames, she too had a certain flair for the dramatic, and Arthur couldn’t help but be entranced.
A few minutes into the story, Arthur felt a weight on his knee. Eames’ hand. Just sitting there, not grabbing. A gentle touch. Perhaps hesitant. Mentally, Arthur was panicking a bit. What should I do? What does this mean? Should I do anything? Does he actually like me?
Eames was still watching Mal, quite oblivious to Arthur’s inner back-and-forth. He kept his hand right where it was, as if this was just a Thing they did all the time. But soon, all too soon, Arthur felt the weight ease up. The hand was rising. Does he think I’m uncomfortable? Wait, of course he does - I haven’t reacted at all!
Despite his nerves, despite his slightly shaking hands, Arthur covered Eames’ hand with his own, bringing both back down to his knee. He gave it a squeeze. Neither said anything, but Arthur saw Eames turn towards him in his peripheral vision. The other boy’s brilliant smile calmed something in Arthur’s wildly beating heart, and they settled in, legs pressed close together, listening to Mal weave a ghost story neither would remember after tonight.

EAM Ext. Plays: Civilization VI !
Context / Settling
A mysterious game about the rise and fall of empires has found its way into the game nights of Molly's adoptive family. How would they play a game that claims to be inspired by a history that never existed?
Players: Molly, Giovanni, Sylvie, Mera, Indus, Feenie, Trixie, Rick, Zora, Yoomtah, Naven, Ramsey, Howie and Percy.
(Also known as EAM Extended or EAM Ext; credits to @epitheterasedgen as the originator of the base EAM concept)
Game: Sid Meier's Civilization VI (with both Rise & Fall and Gathering Storm expansions).
Some things we're going to assume (but please put down theories and suggestions if you have any, we'd love to read them!):
This takes place between Redwood Run and Prison Of Plastic in terms of everyone's character development.
That everyone (see Players) is able to independently operate a computer as well as one that can run the game in question.
Everyone views the game as alternate history fantasy and all the 'factions' as fictional. "Why is Australia here?"
The game has a language setting for the EE universe's language so that the family can actually understand what they're doing. They assume all the other language settings as really well designed conlangs made by dedicated developers.
No one in the EE universe has any idea who made the game or how it was developed. All the names and developing firms do not show up in any records, and everyone just accepts it as part of the game's mysterious allure.
If no one can identify Roman numerals, then chances are the characters will refer to the game verbally as 'Civilisation: We' .
The game is hailed in the EE universe (or at least in communities aware of its existence) as being the pinnacle of alternate language and culture creations for a piece of entertainment.
Who do you think would try to study the languages the most, Sylvie, Feenie or somebody else?
List of civilisations that everyone would use
Molly = Mongolia under Kublai Khan
Giovanni = Hungary
Sylvie = Babylon
Mera = Phonicia
Indus = {Prefers} Maori or Gilgamesh (Sumer) {Mera may convince Indus to instead choose Ottomans}
Percy = Poland
Ramsey = Australia
Trixie = Macedonia
Feenie = Canada
Naven = Sweden
Zora = Norway
Yoomtah = Gran Colombia or Scythia
Howie = China
Rick = Maori {else Phonecia else Norway else Japan.}
Explanations for the list coming soon!

Some suspender fun from my 1930s journalist/photographer AU for @mister-eames ^-^
Eames sighed as he locked his office door, glancing at the dark and completely empty offices around him. He hadn't intended to stay this late but Dom wanted a full draft of his current story by the morning, and it had taken him longer than he'd expected. Long enough that everyone else had already gone home at least.
Well, almost everyone. Arthur hadn't come up yet which meant he was still down in the darkroom. Eames supposed he shouldn't be surprised- Arthur generally tried to get all of his photo development done in one or two sessions to avoid spending too many days down in the darkroom. On easier jobs, it wasn't that difficult. On more complicated jobs, though, it could lead to several late evenings in a row. And, from what Arthur had said, his current job was definitely more on the complicated end of things.
Eames knocked on the door to the darkroom. He'd rarely had reason to come down here before Arthur, but he'd quickly learned to always knock before coming in since then. "Alright to enter?"
"Yeah, come on in."
Eames opened the door and slipped inside. It took his eyes a moment to adjust to the dim red light, but after a moment he recognized Arthur's form standing by one of the counters. "You're here late."
"Pot calling the kettle black, I think."
Eames grinned. "Fair enough. You got much more to do tonight?"
"I need to get the last two rolls hung up to dry." Arthur sighed, glancing back at Eames. "It might be a few minutes, so you're more than welcome to head out if you're tired. I can just meet you at home."
Eames shrugged, setting his bag down and leaning against one of the tables. "Eh, it's fine. I'd rather wait."
Arthur hummed quietly as he went back to work and Eames let silence fill the small space as he watched Arthur work. He rarely got to see this side of things, even on stories they worked together. It was a captivating sight though, the contrast between Arthus appearance and his demeanor holding his attention. He had the same focused intensity he always got when he worked, but without his normally carefully maintained look. Instead, Arthur's jacket and tie were nowhere to be seen and his sleeves were rolled up past his elbows to keep his shirt clean as he worked with the trays of various chemicals and solutions.
Eames couldn't help but smile. He loved how Arthur looked in his suits- so sharp and professional and put together- but there was something wonderful about seeing him like this. It reminded him of how Arthur looked back at the apartment, in the evenings when they'd both finished work and were having a drink or two to unwind. When they didn't have to keep up the pretense of just being coworkers and could relax instead. When Arthur laughed and smiled and inevitably ended up curled against Eames on the couch.
Arthur caught his eye as he hung up the last of the photos from the first roll, raising an eyebrow. "What?"
"Nothing." Eames smiled, walking over to where Arthur was standing. "I just like seeing you like this."
Arthur gave him a look that bordered between hesitant and amused as Eames rested a hand on his waist. "We're still at work, Eames. We have to be careful."
Eames hummed, trailing his hand up Arthur's side and slipping his fingers under one of Arthur's suspenders. "It's late, no one else is here."
Arthur moved easily as Eames tugged on his suspender, pulling him in. The red light made it hard to make out details, but Eames could see the soft smile on Arthur's face as his own hands came to rest on Eames' hips. "I suppose you're right. And we are in the darkroom- people are supposed to knock before coming in."
"Exactly." Eames brought his hand further up Arthur's torso until he'd nearly slipped his suspender off his shoulder, tilting Arthur's chin up with his other hand. "And I do love seeing you like this."
Arthur closed the remaining space between them, pressing against Eames as they kissed. After a moment he pulled back slightly, giving Eames a suggestive look. "What do you say we continue this at home?"
Eames raised an eyebrow. "I thought you had two rolls you needed to finish up with."
Arthur's hands slipped from Eames' hips down to his ass and he tilted his head with a playful smile. "I think the second roll can wait until tomorrow."
"Well, if you insist, darling." Eames grinned. "You know I can never say no to you."
Arthur rolled his eyes as Eames let his suspender snap back against his shoulder, but he didn't move his hands and Eames could see him trying to suppress his own grin. "What a difficult life you lead."
"Unbelievably so." Eames leaned in to press another quick kiss to Arthur's lips before pulling back more fully. He already missed the feeling of Arthur pressed against him, but he knew the separation would be well worth it once they got back to the apartment. "Home?"
Arthur finally returned his grin in full. "Home."
