Time for uninterrupted stripes and seamless knitting in the round. The No Heel Turn Sock Pattern is finally written up. (Please excuse the makeshift cardboard sock blockers...)

This sock knitting pattern does not require to work a heel-flap and there is no need to pick up stitches.

The heel in this pattern is created simply by working increases, followed by an equal number of decreases.

If you are able to knit on double-pointed needles in the round, you are confident to work k2tog and ssk decreases, and you have toyed with the idea of getting into sock knitting, this pattern will be a beginner-friendly entry into the wonderful world of top-down vanilla socks.

One thing the bionicle novels/comics are good for are filling in the gaps the movies left (how the toa metru found the great disks, how they created ships to ferry the matoran to mata nui) but then you get the books that stick rigidly to the movies' plots and suddenly it's like "oh yeah, vakama went from being malcontent to actively betraying his friends in the span of a literal day (and his friends located a mythical rahi in that same period)" when I always assumed there was more of a time skip in the movie, and I would have loved to see those two plotlines progress in parallel

I finally finished coloring my concept for Black Ice Eira!

So to those who don’t read CAD (as you should), Tim Buckley recently set up a massive cliff hanger regarding Zeke, the best character in the entire comic, that had them go missing on really bad terms with the whole crew, and pursue a VERY dangerous goal while very injured. And like. For months, all of the updates have been very deliberate about keeping Zeke’s safety ambiguous, and painstakingly exploring how their disappearance has effected the cast, and how hard they are trying to get in contact with them, and fix all of this.

And Tim Buckley just finished up a like 30 page arc of his other story comic, and is returning to the one Zeke is in, but. Is mostly posting filler for now, and like. The fans of the comic are fucking SPIRALING and creating absolute crackpot theories about how THIS IS THE PAGE, WE’RE GOING TO SEE ZEKE SOON in the comments of like EVERY page. Its so entertaining to see how insane everyone is about this fucking robot..

The AU Where Silicon Is So Sad He Sells Out, Big Time

Essentially, the gist of it is that he pulls off a classic face-heel turn on the VP, revealing that at some point, Kingdom paid him off to be a mole and steal info from the Protocol for him to bring back. He eventually moves his things out of the VP under the lie of transferring some things back to his flat in South SF, leaving an empty room and their 24th agent missing.

At some point, either through investigations, Kevin's own ego, or a confrontation with a dramatic reveal to Lady Gaga's Judas, Kevin is revealed as the new (interim) Chief Weapons Designer at KNG. Despite his... questionable choices when using some of the program's budget, his 'virtualization' tech is proving very useful to their weapons department.

Silicon only ever gets to a point that he would betray the protocol if he feels like an outsider or his jealousy/inferiority complex decides to show itself to him a little harder (maybe also as a result of feeling like he doesn't belong.

You could buy Sil pretty easy if he has no sentimental feelings about the people around him, and even easier if those feelings become negative.

Around the time when he is first paid off by KNG, he's still operating in the VP as normal, minus a couple file dupes and transfers onto a series of external drives.

Kevin also steals blueprints and information regarding things built by Raze, KJ, and of course, Chamber.

Speaking of Chamber he totally steals his teleport tech (also adjusts the aesthetics) and uses it in conjunction with his cloaking abilities to be a real sneeeeeky bahrstard.

He's had the idea for a new outfit on the back burner for a while, and now's the perfect time for him to use it.

His virtualization tech used for his ult is very useful to KNG- why have to make five guns for a contractor when you can have five virtual guns with more ammo and no reloads for the storage of one gun? Silicon suggested a subscription model for the 'rental' of the source weapons. Plus- nobody has to carry anything around if it's all virtual.

MMMM the salt potential of Silicon having Chamber's old job. Even if it's just temporary- it's FUN.

Silicon isn't necessarily a good corporate businessman- he's a conman (man loosely) and this has some problems especially for a corp like KNG. Some of his practices and suggestions are a little... not quite what they were looking for.

Giving Silicon a budget does make his weapons more quality, but giving him power makes his ego a little more inflated. Equivalent inflation for better or for worse.
