The neighborhood where borned one of the biggest icons of Brazilian music.

This is "clube da esquina" on 60's. They were musicians who enjoyed being together, creating great music and hang out.

One of the most important records ever created exists thanks to these reunions. It's "Clube da esquina" by Lô Borges e Milton Nascimento.

The sounds, the poetry, the meaning of a new movement created through friendship.

This neighborhood has a great view from the city and charming buildings from the last century.

today this neighborhood is mostly a bohemian place. People goes there to dance samba, listen to live music and eat boteco's food.

An Edinburgh homeowner has been ordered to change the color of her front door or be fined up to £20,000. Miranda Dickson says her door is not "bright pink" as the complaint letter stated. The action was taken following an anonymous complaint. (Yeah, some stick-up-the-ass neighbor, too chicken-shit to give a name.)

Edinburgh City Council said the door was "not in keeping with the historic character" of the listed building. She said it followed a letter from the council informing her she must repaint her door a more suitable color, which was to be "dark and muted.”

"The letter told me to paint it white, which goes against the guidelines of dark and muted, it's ludicrous," she said. Miranda asked for clarification from the council about what colors she could choose from, but said they were unable to advise her.

Ms Dickson has a pink carpeted staircase in her newly renovated home.

She refurbished the house with the last task being the painting of the front door in December last year. She has until November 7 to change the color.

"It costs a lot of money to have the front door painted because they are very large. The brass has to be removed and the door sanded first and then you have to leave the door open all day while the paint dries.”

Ms Dickson took pictures of brightly painted doors in her neighborhood. "The absolutely absurd thing is when I asked the council about the other doors in the area they said they would take action if they received a complaint," she said. Well, then I would complain about the other doors.
