Curious about the ash pendant Verus keeps on him despite distancing himself from the legions. And what sort of accident did he lose his band to?
Ah yes! this one is actually a fun one!
See, Verus just showed up one day on the doorstep of one of the Pact's workshops and offered his skills as an engineer. (He picked up the fledgling skills of what became holosmith and was one of the Charr involved in finding a military application for holomancy, but that's a different thing)
When asked, he just mentions that he lost his warband in accident. He says it was a cave in, but he doesn't really tell you where it was or when it happened. Nor does he ever tell anyone what his former warband name is.
If anyone were to go looking on file for any accidents in ash legion paperwork. Let's be honest the Charr propably have the most sophisticated paper trails on Tyria. It would be hard to find anything that aligns with when he shows up.
Which, comes back ot his "totally unrelated to anything pendant". A charr, just randomly coming to work inside an organization that has cutting edge research and development from all sources on the continent.
to be blunt: it's all very convenient that he also has a sign of affiliation to a Legion priding itself on espionage

She assumes Tobin left to go somewhere else so she goes to take a shower and then she comes out and finds a big blanket fort in her bedroom. She finds Tobin asleep in the fort lol. I think Tobin and Kelley built the fort because they were in charge of a bunch of little kids or something

It's monday! And this is the first day of our last week! Today I will be introducing to you the mythical quartet, the guardians of the spirit world, inspired by the Four Messenger Owls of Xibalba!

We start with Xibarrow, inspired by Chabi-Tucur, an owl as fast as an arrow. The quills at the tips on its wings generate charges that explode upon impact.

Xibaiant, inspired by Huracan-Tucur, originally described with a single leg, changed the design to be more inspired by the name, a strong storm, and turned it into a blizzard.

Then comes Xibaphal, inspired by Holom-Tucur, an owl that is only a head with wings. Added the feet a bit for comical/cute effect. since flying is hard for it, it uses its psychic powers to do so.

Finally, the last guardian is Xibard, inspired by Caquix-Tucur, a red guacamayan-like owl. A small owl whose greatest weapon is its voice, being able to shriek so high, it can make ears bleed.

These Four come with their shared unique new ability called Law of Karma. One of the most broken abilities I've designed since it works as a mix of Contrary and Magic Bounce.

These four Pokémon are meant to guard and protect the world of the spirits (accessible by the central vortex in Costora) You'd need to have all four of them in your team if you attempt to catch the four Legendary Pokémon.
All of them are mainly Dark-types since their origin is the Mayan underwold, but their final typing is:

Holome App; AR Technology
Last night we listened to group presentations in class and one of the groups talked about AR technology and the fashion industry. Since new technologies and fashion have been the topic of my blog for this semester I have heard of the majority of these trends. The one that I found interesting that I haven't heard of was the Holome app. This app hosted a virtual fashion show that people can watch from anywhere. The models walked in front of a green screen and the technology let them try on the clothing. Then customers could log on and see the show on their phone as well as change the background to what they prefer. This is making fashion shows more accessible because people can watch them for free and from wherever they live. I could see myself logging into an app like this just to see what the virtual fashion show is like.

This technology is being used for everyday people to try on clothing virtually. Customers can put their image in the app which turns them into an AR version of themselves. Then they can try on different clothing options on their AR model. I like this idea and I think that it will become a bigger trend in the upcoming years.

características identificam famílias ou gêneros.

POSTURA:
É realizada, geralmente, em lugares que
oferecem condições adequadas ao
desenvolvimento das formas jovens. Algumas
espécies põem ovos isolados uns dos outros,
enquanto outras põem os ovos aglomerados.
MUDAS:
Durante o desenvolvimento do ovo até o estádio adulto o inseto sofre uma série de transformações nas suas estruturas, com eliminação e renovação da cutícula, cujo fenômeno é conhecido por metamorfose dos insetos.
Tipos fundamentais de formas imaturas:
As ninfas e as larvas. As ninfas diferem dos adultos pela ausência de órgãos genitais e pelos rudimentos de asas.
As larvas, entretanto, são muito diferentes dos adultos, tanto sob o aspecto morfológico como biológico. A passagem do estádio de larva para adulto se dá através de um estádio intermediário que é a pupa.
- Dois tipos fundamentais de metamorfose podem ocorrer no desenvolvimento dos insetos:
(1) - metamorfose incompleta ou hemimetabolia
(2) - metamorfose completa ou holometabolia
(1) Metamorfose incompleta - hemimetabolia.
Neste tipo de metamorfose os estádios jovens,
que são ninfas, são semelhantes aos adultos.
As principais diferenças observadas entre as
formas imaturas e os adultos são o tamanho e
proporções do corpo, o tamanho das asas,
desenvolvimento dos ocelos, quando presentes, formas das antenas e peças bucais.
- Inclui-se neste tipo de metamorfose os insetos das ordens Hemiptera e Phtiraptera.
Os insetos deste grupo são conhecidos por
hemimetábolos ou hemimetabólicos.
(2). Metamorfose Completa - holometabolia.
Neste tipo os estádios jovens são muito
diferentes dos adultos, tanto sob o ponto de
vista morfológico como sob o ponto de vista de
hábitos.
O indivíduo recém eclodido é a larva e o estádio
imediatamente anterior ao adulto é a pupa.
A pupa não se alimenta.
Os insetos deste tipo são conhecidos por
holometábolos ou holometabólicos. Neste grupo
incluem-se os insetos das ordens Diptera e
Siphonaptera (Pulgas).
CLASSIFICAÇÃO
A classe Insecta compreende 26 ordens, das
quais as seguintes incluem espécies de
interesse na patologia médica e veterinária:

most of the stuff is rewritten and the overrall storyline will be a lot more different than it is. i have an idea for new characters and even returning ones with absolute complete redesigns and shit. i am working on somethin’ better than a ask blog however.

Well, it’s official. I’m going. I’m leaving Maguuma, for the first time proper.
With contact reestablished with Elona, many researchers and adventurers have declared intent to go, to help the region and learn of it. The Durmand Priory has their own people working on this, but even those outside of the Order want in on it... Myself included.
News came in that Elonians have a specific brand of holomancy: holosmithing, they call it. Harnessing the harsh sun of the region into energy, defense, weaponry. Almost the exact technology I’ve been working on most of my life, and they perfected it for combat perimeters! I have never left my post with the Wardens before, but I cannot let this opportunity pass. Niamh graciously understands though, and she is letting me go to Lion’s Arch and beyond, to Elona to investigate both for myself and to help where I can.
There is still a great deal of instability in the region even with the Commander’s interventions, warnings that it will not be safe, but I know my strengths. I can handle this.
I have never been so far from the Grove, and that is a little... scary. I have but one last night before I leave tomorrow morning. I think I shall spend it among friends.
