No way, simmeronnie is doing replies again? :o It’s been a month, I know. It’s been hard, exams and all that. I’ve talked about that a lot. Now I’m in so much better place. I’ve read what I wrote in my diary a few months ago (February and March to be exact) and wow...just wow. If you compare me from now to me from those months, you wouldn’t even believe we’re the same person. Right now, I’m the happiest I’ve been in a while. Back then, I’m honestly surprised I didn’t give up. I was so tired of everything.

Onto something else. I thought I’d catch up on a lot of blogs now that my graduation is done, but actually, I got carried away reading a good book (and therefore I didn’t actually catch up on too many blogs). Guys, you all need to read Illuminae. I finished the trillogy today and man, it was so good. Don’t get intimidated by how big the books are, yesterday I read over 400 pages and I didn’t even know how. It’s just so good. Read it. Seriously. I hope you like a good plot twist because these books are full of them. It’ll leave you speechless.

I’m just excited I can read books that have nothing to do with exams again, okay? Tomorrow I’m starting...I’m not sure. Probably The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan. FINALLY.

Anyway, blog stuff. I thought I’d only do the latest replies since my activity feed was broken, but now I was able to scroll down a lot. I wasn’t paying attention and suddenly I was at comments from April. So yeah, that thing I screamed about this week, apparently it’s fixed itself. Though I’m still not sure if it shows all of the comments. Oh well. I worked with what I was able to get.

By the way, in these replies, I did not include the “congrats” comments when I said I got through my exams. But I saw you all, and honestly, thank you so much. I was thinking about this the other day, and I think one of the reasons why I made it through high school was simblr. This is my happy place. Most of the time.

I can’t explain how I felt writing this. I’m not too empathetic when it comes to other people (and it sucks), but when it comes to “ok how would my character feel in this scene”, I’m immediately in their shoes, and let me tell you, I actually cried, even though I knew damn well how it was going to end. But I also knew what was happening next, and that’s why I cried too. Writing is weird sometimes.

There indeed WAS something wrong with her. I hinted at it a few times, sometimes it was just a little thing that probably only I saw as foreshadowing, but it kept getting more and more obvious towards the end. And wow. Yeah. She really went that far.

Also, can I just say, I weirdly enjoyed seeing how at first, everyone was like “yaaaaas, mermaid girlfriend”, whereas now it’s more like “oh no. OH NO. STAY AWAY FROM OUR GIRL”.

She just wants her. That’s her explanation. She doesn’t care about anything else, as long as her beloved human will stay right there in Isla Paradiso.

I’m just now thinking, how the hell did I go from the first story idea for Regan to this. In the original story, there were no creepy psycho mermaid girlfriends. There was...a lot of Bridgeport...some cheating...a lot of guilty feelings...more feelings towards Courtney...Felix didn’t end up with her in that storyline but there would be a love triangle with another person...and considering I’m not actually the biggest fan of love triangles, I as a writer am glad I somehow ended up with a psycho mermaid girlfriend story. It was way more interesting to figure out and write.

But if Regan could decide, I’m pretty sure she’d rather end up in a love triangle 😬

Let me tease you though: There’ll still be a lot of Bridgeport later.

I’m not sure if it’ll be just as fun as my NSB, but it certainly won’t be as sad as the current story. You guys deserve a break.

So yeah this was the post where I kind of figured out something seems off... if I'm not mistaken there were also posts where George warns her but I didn't think much of them

One of the things I enjoy doing when I finish the first draft of something is going back and making hints. Tiny little pieces of foreshadowing. And then it grows and grows and gets more obvious. This was never going to end well. I think I already hinted at it when Regan was saying goodbye to her family before going to Isla Paradiso, though I’m not sure. But I think I left first little clues there.

Yeah I had to help myself with Photoshop here, there would be no other way to make it clear that she enchanted/brainwashed her. But damn, it would be cool if something like that was actually in the game. Sea creatures like mermaids don’t always have to be nice. What about sirens from the old mythology? I mean, what they did was getting people killed.

Ahh yes...I was in a car today and we were driving past my high school. I started thinking about it all again and I just can’t believe that just two months ago, we were still sitting there in a classroom, praying for it all to end. No, all jokes and dumb remarks aside, when I wrote Regan in this brainwashed state, it was so hard. Not that writing was hard, handling my feelings was hard. I knew she was hurting everyone and I had to keep going because I wanted to tell this story. Like I said, writing is weird sometimes.

Also, speaking of wizards...how convenient it is that her brother is one now? :D Which actually...I didn’t plan for him to become a wizard just to save her. I didn’t plan for him to befriend a fairy just to save her either. It just all sort of happened. Just like life, huh? Nothing is perfectly planned, you just have to play with whatever you have, and I was lucky this time.

She would. Honestly, I believe she would, if things weren’t already hard at home for her.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Miracle for everything she’s gone through? She was “unwanted” at school because she was half alien, she had to share a room with an awful bully at university, then when that hell was over, she became a mother to six children, and now this...when I think of all that has happened, I realize how strong she actually is, because none of this made her give up.

I’ve had so many issues with her story, but looking at her from this perspective, maybe I shouldn’t have.

Voltron Headcanons Pt. 2

People liked my first part, so here I am back at it with the Voltron Headcanons.

Matt is the type of person that kisses people when he’s really excited. Shiro found this out the hard way, but he expects it now. The first time Matt did it in front of Team Voltron, everyone freaked out except for Pidge and Shiro, who were used to it. Lance and Keith thought they were dating for a whole month before Shiro, incredibly red-faced, cleared it up.

Allura could benchpress Shiro if he’d let her.

Shiro still doesn’t know that Keith got kicked out of the Garrison. Lance almost mentioned it and Keith tackled him to the floor.

Everyone just assumes that Keith has no family back on Earth, but his dad is actually alive and well. Keith hadn’t spoken to him since leaving the Garrison, leaving him with a cryptic message of “I can’t come home just yet.” His father knew that one day he’d make it to space, but he assumed that it would be when Keith learned the truth about his mother and went willingly. He’s still waiting for Keith to come home.

Keith got booted from the Garrison because he punched Iverson in the face for saying that Shiro was dead and that he was never a good pilot anyway if he’d made such a rookie mistake [Edit: I DIDNT THINK THIS WAS ACTUALLY CANON!].

Matt and Keith know each other from the Garrison, but not that well.

Lance only beat Keith in one thing back at the Garrison - target practise. Lance hit the bullseye dead on almost every time, while Keith missed horribly. Keith doesn’t know that Lance was the one that beat him, and Lance is saving that information to serve as blackmail one day.

Shiro and Matt know morse code and use it constantly. Unknown to them, Pidge knows it too and has to stifle laughter when they’re being idiots.

Keith and Lance know sign language. Keith had been taught due to his habit of becoming easily overwhelmed, and he would be unable to form coherent sentences, and uses it to communicate. Lance has a deaf niece. (Autistic Keith is back)

The first time Lance and Keith used sign language around each other, Keith freaked out because he’d signed something to himself as a reminder and Lance replied back to him. The reminder - Lance is actually nice, don’t make fun of Lance. The response - thank you, you’re not so bad yourself.

Hunk and Pidge take bets on who will admit their feelings to the other first - Lance or Keith. Both have their money on Lance, but suspect that it might actually be Keith.

Team Voltron bets on everything.

Hunk only has sisters, no brothers. Two of them to be exact.

Matt kind of panicked when he was reunited with Shiro. Not sure where they stood since they last saw each other, he settled with calling his friend “sir.” He still regrets it, feeling that he downplayed his excitement for being with his best friend again. (He kind of has a crush on him)

Matt gets twitchy when he’s nervous, and ends up fidgeting with whatever’s nearby. Usually it’s spare parts and he ends up making bizarre inventions that even he doesn’t know what they do.

Pidge and Matt are fluent in Rick and Morty. Pidge once told Keith to “get schwifty” and Keith just froze with panic. He looked to Lance, who had no idea what she was talking about. Lance ended up awkwardly doing the macerana. Pidge will not let this incident go.

Never give Matt coffee. Ever.

Once, to stay up and study for exams, Matt downed eight Red Bulls within twenty minutes. He spent most of the day running up and down the halls of their dorm screaming, “I can hear colours Kashi!” Shiro eventually managed to get him inside their room, where Matt was promptly pinned to his bed and sat on until he calmed down. He got perfect on his exam the next day despite his lack of studying. Matt does not let Shiro forget about this.

Allura firmly believes that Matt is Lance’s clone that somehow got infused with Pidge’s DNA. She also secretly finds him adorable in a weird platonic way, like one would find a permanently confused puppy.

Pidge has blackmail material for everyone on the ship except for Hunk. He’s too nice for her to blackmail.

Pidge once hacked into the team’s playlists. The one that surprised her the most was Keith’s, which was full of classical music and slow songs. What she doesn’t know is that they’re his stress relievers.

(I said Matt was gay in the last post, so I’m fixing it now) Matt is bi and flirts with girls a lot even though he prefers guys. He can’t talk to guys at all. He’s also so far in the closet that he’s the king of Narnia - even Pidge doesn’t know. Matt’s fine with the members of Team Voltron because he knows Shiro and he’s like six years older than the others (and Coran is too old) so it would be gross for him to have a crush on any of them. He thinks Allura’s around 25 because of her maturity (she’s 18 but he doesn’t know that).

Any friend of Pidge is a friend of Matt, though the opposite isn’t necessarily true.

Keith has selective memory. He can’t remember dates and definitions very well, but can memorize movie quotes easily. Somehow, he can’t put two and two together and figure out when someone is quoting something. It hits him like two hours later.

When Matt eventually came out to Pidge, it was totally an accident, but worth it. Pidge was complaining that Keith and Lance were in love and that they should’ve kissed already, and she mentioned that she could tell because she had an excellent gay-dar that could detect a gay person a mile away. Matt’s response was to throw a pillow at her head and yell “You lived with my gay ass for fifteen years and you didn’t detect shit!”

Shiro apologized on Matt’s behalf for the coming out incident. He’d known for years - Matt had tried hitting on him when they were just starting to get to know each other. It was awkward and they’d agreed not to speak about it. He’s just as bad with flirting as Lance, possibly even worse.

Keith has long hair because his ears are pointed. He just thought it was a birth defect and he used to get made fun for it. (My friend actually came up with this upon finding out that Keith was part Galra)

Since “awakening” his Blade, Keith’s eyes flash yellow when he’s angry. Lance nearly screamed when they were sparring one day, then proceeded to stammer as he tried to convince an upset Keith that it looked cool.

Keith has a lot of freckles on his back, and recently they’ve been turning a light purple. Keith had initially thought he’d contracted an alien disease and that he was going to die. He freaked out.

Lance once noticed the freckles while they were changing for a bonding session in the training deck’s locker room. He thinks they’re cute. Hunk has a picture of him blushing, though Lance denies the photo exists. Keith is as oblivious as ever.

Lance covers Pidge’s ears whenever someone swears. She then tells him to fuck off, at which Matt covers Shiro’s ears.

Allura and Coran once asked Lance what “fuck” meant. Lance muttered “quiznak” and Allura went pale while Coran started laughing.

Speaking of which, Keith did realize that by telling him to “shut your quiznak,” Lance had basically told him to “shut your fuck.” It clicked to him during training, and he’d almost got impaled because of it. Everyone else thought he was having a seizure because they’d never seen Keith laugh so hard.

Back on Earth, there are several conspiracy theory websites debating whether or not the Kerberos team and the missing Garrison kids are actually alive, what happened to them, and if the two events are somehow connected. One of these websites is run by Lance’s thirteen year old sister.

Pidge managed to hook up one of their Garrison-issued phone to the teledov (I think that’s how you spell it) so they could contact their families at home and tell them that they’re alright. Lance’s phone call consisted of angry, yet concerned, Spanish screaming.

Keith knows like five words in Spanish and completely butchers the pronunciation. Once, Lance was trying to convince the others that “te amo” was actually a swear, and ending up saying it to Keith as a joke. Unfortunately for him, Keith knew what that meant and went incredibly silent, blushing like crazy and responding with a very quiet “mierda.” Lance didn’t speak to him for a week because he was so embarrassed. Hunk couldn’t stop laughing.

To retaliate at Lance’s and Hunk’s secret Spanish conversations (mentioned in Part One), Keith and Shiro sometimes speak to each other in Japanese. Keith only knows the basics, and speaks a little slower, but Shiro is fluent. Pidge and Matt irritably complain that no one on the ship speaks English anymore.

Pidge is not allowed to use the Altean equivalent of a microwave. There is a sticker on it that says “Food only. No science in the microwave.”

Hunk knows lines from Welcome to Night Vale off by heart, and can be oddly philosophical at times when using these. Most of the time it just creeps people out. Allura and Coran like it that for once the others are also clueless as to what’s going on.

Keith, without knowing, accidentally used a pickup line on Lance and everyone lost their shit. Lance was slightly traumatized.

When Keith came out as part Galra, he talked to Shiro privately about it afterwards and asked him what he really felt. Shiro had said it was fine, raising his metal arm and saying “I’m part Galra too.”

Lance, while insulting Keith, off-handedly mentioned that Keith purrs really loud while he was sleeping. Hunk stared at him for a really long time until Lance realized the impact of what he’d just said. Lance reassured him, while panicking, that he and Keith had fallen asleep in the lounge one day. Pidge had more blackmail material within five minutes.

KEITH. PURRS. IN. HIS. SLEEP.

Everyone on the ship wants to know where the fuck Shiro gets eyeliner????

Hunk made a Rover 2.0 for Pidge. She’s determined to keep this one safe at all costs.

Matt puked the first time he went through a wormhole.

Matt called Pidge “Katie” and Lance had a freak out - “WHO THE FUCK IS KATIE?!”

Since none of the paladins have money on them, Pidge is acting as the official bookie so everyone can collect their winnings upon returning to Earth. So far, Lance has the greatest debt, owing Keith around a hundred bucks.

Colleen Holt knows that Pidge is still alive. She’d promised to find Matt and Samuel, and Colleen does not doubt her little girl. Wherever she was, she was going to come home and bring her boys with her.

Back on Earth, Pidge, Hunk, and Lance were reported to the news as “delinquents who went on a joyride in a stolen Garrison ship and never came back.“ Keith’s dad never reported him missing because he knew were his son was going and that he was going to come home when he was ready.

Keith’s mom is one of Lotor’s generals, but she (whoever she is) doesn’t know because she dropped off baby Keith at his father’s doorstep and left, not even bothering to name him, hence why Keith has a human name. (Calling it now that one of Lotor’s generals is Keith’s mom - I mean they’re the only Galra women we’ve seen)

Acxa’s “other option” she mentioned after shooting Lotor was to join the Blade of Mamora.

Lance thought that Keith had a crush on Shiro until he heard Keith mention that the black paladin was like his older brother.

Whenever someone has to take a moment of silence to process information, either Pidge or Matt can be heard going “___________.exe has stopped working.”

Pidge, Hunk, and Allura all bond over the idiotic sexual tension between Keith and Lance. Coran tried to stay out of the way, Matt doesn’t seem to care, and Shiro somehow doesn’t notice a thing.

There’s a sign in the command centre that says “No weapons in the command centre” after Matt almost broke literally everything while swinging his staff around.

A little cliche, but Lance begrudgingly groans out “in English please” whenever Hunk, Pidge, or Matt technobabbles.

BERNARD

bernard is the fourth child (2x twins) of a farmer.. his father and twin sister died in a hunting accident when he was three,

the first set of twins were aasimar, and 6 years older than bernard and his twin sister georgia. they both left when bernard was 6, but not before teaching him celestial

so he grew up with only his mother. his mother went through a lot of stuff after that, which resulted in, in order,

half-elf triplets (two girls and a boy) (misky (f) tayze (f) and beauregard (m))

a gold dragonborn foster child (cotalla)

a half-drow son (drixben)

tiefling twins (a girl and a boy) (diana (f) and johann (m))

a halfling stepchild (jessie, but theyre the same age as the triplets)

a half-orc daughter (tarora)

these kids didnt start coming around until bernard was six. so bernard’s mom (molly) had nine children over the course of nine and a half years, and then when bernard is sixteen, his mother dies because of a terrible illness. so now heres bernard, who had a steady boyfriend, and now bernard has nine children, all under the age of ten, two are under the age of five, and he just. he cant be dating right now. so instead, he joins the guards of sarenrae (essentially the army, bc bernard’s country is devoted to sarenrae) because the guards get a good pay and their children get a good education

(the thing is, though, bernard’s mother died surrounded by all of her children except for bernard, who only stepped away for a minute to get her a glass of water and she died while he was gone, and thats. thats the worst thing that’s ever happened to bernard)

so youve got bernard, who is quite possibly the kindest, sweetest guy in the world, hes a paladin of sarenrae, and every week he drags in his nine siblings to services, usually carrying five or six of them with the other three or four on toddler leashes so they dont wander off.

so bernard is just, doing the best he can, and five years after he joins the guard, he gets called away to go to war. hes got nine kids to take care of, only three are old enough to take care of the others, but misky, tayze, and beauregard are all much less trustworthy than bernard. they arent bad kids, by any mean, because they were raised by molly, who was the nicest woman in the world, and bernard, who is the nicest man in the world, so these are pretty nice kids. in game theyre considered to be chaotic good, but like. misky and beauregard arent above pickpocketing to survive, and tayze will only do things for his family.

bernard still goes, because bernard believes in sarenrae and believes in fighting the good fight. so he leaves the farm in the hands of the triplets and jessie, and after giving every single one of his kids a hug and a kiss, he goes out to fight the war. hes gone for three years.

when he comes back, tayze and misky are gone. all that beau and jessie will tell him is that the two of them are out on the ocean

(tayze and misky are pirates. they have shifted to chaotic evil and chaotic neutral, respectively. they make a good profit, and bernard’s hometown is fairly far inland, so they arent at great risk when they go home to visit, which they do once a year. they take tarora and the twins on a tour of the ship once and let them pretend to be part of the navy of sarenrae, even though the ship is very obviously a pirate ship.)

so now bernard is twenty-four, beau and jessie are eighteen. beau is terrible at farming, and he really doesnt like to do it, so beau moves to the middle of the nearest city and joins the thieves guild there. he does it on the DL tho bc bernard does not, precisely, approve of thievery. he tells bernard that he studies from the school of summoning (bc he summons things from other peoples pockets into his hands, and bc he makes things disappear) so bernard is very proud of beau. beau is proud of himself too, but he keeps lying about being a thief because bernard’s Disappointed look is a terrible thing to suffer. beau also has some fun with bands of roving thieves that try to attack the farm, because beau can use a scimitar like no ones business

jessie goes kind of the complete opposite direction. they leave the farm and head into the nearby woods, and they keep going north. they get to the northernmost part of the continent, and they just start. living there. so they become an ice druid, and they also get a moose companion that they name afeeha. jessie comes back south every so often, shows tarora and the twins how he can polymorph into a snowy owl. bernard is VERY proud of jessie for following his heart, and jessie is all ‘yes yes thank you, how are tayze misky and beau?’ because he is the ONLY one that knows everybodys secrets and he uses that to his distinct advantage

cotalla is fifteen at this point, and they go to a nearby city (not a big city or anything) and they join the bardic college there. they are very good at singing and playing the lute and other string instruments, but cannot play a wind instrument for the life of them. so cotalla becomes a bard of kord (the fightin’ god) and essentially, what that entails is cotalla sings a shitload of battle songs with the guards of sarenrae, and then gets nasty when the fighting gets to them. bernard is SO proud of cotalla, because cotalla kiiiiiiiiind of technically joined the military? and he really loves the guards of sarenrae, who helped give all his siblings basic education, so hes real proud that cotalla joined.

drixben, at this point, is thirteen, which is a bit young, honestly, for him to go to any college. he doesnt, really, actually, want to do much of anything. he visits beau sometimes, who is lying to everyone about being a wizard, so beau invites his warlock gf and bf over and lets them teach drixben about magic. this is a terrible idea, actually, because drixben kiiiiiiiind of sort of becomes a warlock. which, if you done know, is, like, he made a contract with an ancient bestial terror.

so beau and drixben are like, ‘okay, this is a Secret From Bernard’ (its mostly beau because he kind of ruined drixben, even though bernard would still love both of them) so now drixben has warlock powers but he doesnt really ever use them. so now drixben is kind of having. problems. with his powers.

diana and johann (yo-hahn, yes these two and bernard are the only ones in the world with normal names) are nine years old. so they dont do much. u know. they still have to go with bernard wherever he goes bc those two would definitely burn down the house if left alone

tarora is eight years old, and is kind of in the same boat as the twins. the thing everyone asks when they come back to visit bernard is ‘where are tarora and the twins’. at this point its tarora-and-the-twins as one word, and, honestly neither tarora nor the twins like that.

so you have

tayze, chaotic evil half-elf pirate (who loves her big brother to death)

misky, chaotic neutral half-elf pirate (who loves her brother but also is less mean than her sister)

beauregard, chaotic good half-elf rogue

bernard is very satisfied with his life. however, its at this point that the current king, who was a SUPER good dude, dies and gets replaced. not by his daughter, who was a super awesome girl, but by his sister in law, who is not so phenomenal. she kind of ruins the country, and the guards of sarenrae TECHNICALLY serve the goddess sarenrae, so theyre like, i will not serve you. and the new queen is like, i will not force you. and then she takes their families captive and is like, but i recommend you do because otherwise your families will die.

the queen does not manage to nab all nine of bernard’s siblings. she does nab tarora, diana, johann, and drixben, whereas jessie is too much trouble to get, beau is too damned sneaky, misky and tayze are already technically wanted by the crown (but they use stage names, at first because they didnt want bernard to know about how bad they were being, but now theyre like ‘yes!! we knew this would happen we are so smart’), cotalla is actually in a foreign country fighting a war, and then when the war is over, theyre like ‘no thanks’ and they just. dont come back.

so bernard leaves the farm. he puts his ex in charge and now hes traveling the country, searching for his family. hes no longer part of the guards of sarenrae, but he still considers himself a paladin, except he hates the government.

so anyway thats bernard and i love him.

ZYRICK

zyrick is a huma bard and he is 19. he was sold by his human noble grandfather (one Ryxal Corriendone) at the age of two in order for the corriendone family to escape their debts. however, zyrick’s twin sister zyra (zigh-ra vs zee-rick) was kept with her family. zyrick was sold to the master of a massive slave gladiator pit, known as Mr. Zalfroc. zyrick first became eligible for the fights at the age of 10, but managed to avoid the worst opponents by means of his skill with musical instruments. zyrick thus spent the majority of his time in the pits as a side attraction rather than a fighter, although he did not completely escape from the fights.

at the age of 17, zyrick finally ran away from the pits and mr. zalfroc in an effort to both find his family and to. well. yknow. escape the fucking gladiator pits.

after spending 15 years in an underground gladiator arena, zyrick kinda sorta hates nobles with all the hate in his body. both because mr. zalfroc constantly reminded him of what his family did, and also because of what he saw of nobles in the pits. he works REALLY REALLY hard to move past it though, because he wants to meet his family and he wants to know whats up with them and to tell them that he forgives them.

but he doesnt really know? where it is? and so he just wanders around, staying far away from mr. zalfroc’s circle of influence, and then some girl (who looks too much like him) runs up to him, with a bunch of her allies with her because shes got her own adventuring party, and she explains that she is zyra corriendone the second and that hes her twin brother, and he kinda gets tugged along with this girl to the corriendone estate, and its kind of a spooky affair, with zyra the second and zra the first (their mother) and ryxal corriendone, and their mother is a little lost after the trauma of losing her son, and ryxal is a little lost because hes old, but they both come into it when zyrick enters the estate.

and zyra i explains that hes her son, her beloved son, and then theres drama with ryxal and zyrick runs because he does NOT trust angry adult men. and zyra runs after him, and tries to explain that everythings alright, that he can live with them now and they can be family now, but then zyrick just explodes with all his anger. “they fucking kept you, zyra, but i wasnt fucking good enough. they took me away from my mother and my father- do i even fucking have a father? no, i fucking doubt it- but they kept you, they loved you, you got to grow up in this fancy fucking house reading your fucking books and taking fucking music lessons and praying to fucking pelor once a fucking week and wearing your stupid fucking pretty fancy clothes. and guess how i grew up? i fucking killed people, ive killed people and i bet youve never so much as gotten a fucking hangnail. i taught myself everything i fucking know and i clawed myself up from the mud more than once and i saw the worst fucking parts of you people, and i hate it. and you can never make me be one of you. im not a fucking blueblood.” and he runs.

and thats not really fair, because zyra ii has her own issues with growing up, but zyrick doesnt care about being fair when hes talking to his silver spoon sister.

zyrick very much puts up an airheaded, kinda stupid/floaty/happy-go-lucky personality, but rest assured: he is thinking about murdering you. every soft half-smile and chord strummed on his lute? thats him stabbing you in his mind. and he will kill you with great pleasure.

JYNXLUCK

jynxluck is a young-ish drow warlock and shes absolutely nuts. i mean off her fuckin rocker. mostly thats because she was kidnapped from her village by ghaunadaur-worshipping elves who decided to torture her into seeing visions of the future because of the drows rumored genetic dark magic. and then one day she woke up in captivity and discovered all of the elves were dead, and shes now on a quest to find whoever did that and thank them graciously. she is also chaotic evil and does everything in her power to make her visions come true. this often backfires.

jynxluck is chaotic evil, as opposed to bernard being lawful good and zyrick being chaotic good.

also jynxluck does not lie. shes kind of a fae creature in that trickery and wordplay is fine but lying? lying is uncool and the worst. but she will kill people when she thinks things are going badly. she is c-r-a-z-y. but no lying also means that jynxluck WILL tell you what she thinks of you. shes like a much worse-organized GLaDOS.

Why does Amanda Lynn bring out the worst in me

My partner isn't responding to me... That makes me extremely nervous. I do have an idol but I'd hate to use it this early in the game if I go to tribal and feel nervous.

So im chatting with Rafael right now. And honestly i have to first impression. My first thought was fo backstab. Opps. So from getting some info from him it seems like he was part of the tribe that flipped. Honestly im kinda pissed about that because I wanna work with others from the tribe without having any connection with him get in the way. Im honestly thinking about going right and staying stay because i lied to him snd said i was going left. Honestly i need to talk to Emily and Amanda l about this.

This was interesting twist. I like it and it def makes you think!!! My partner Michael seems cool so far but we'll have to see if he can be trusted!!! I hope do cause I don't want to go to tribal!!!!

WHEW I survived, it was 9-1. I get paranoid for nothing! So now Jay and Ali decide to be ugly and put us in One World, which has it's ups and downs. One one hand, I CAN FINALLY TALK TO ABBEY about the game, but on the other hand, Ricky is a snake and even though we have AGREED to put Hawaii behind us, I don't think I can trust him for one second. I'm waiting for Abbey to come on to see if maybe we can form an alliance with Ricky just so I can keep him close. So with this One World announcement, we also have our next challenge, which is exactly like the rose challenge in Divergent, with just a few small modifications. Basically we've each been paired up with someone from the other tribe, and we determine if the other goes to tribal. Guess who I was paired up with. FREAKING ABBEY! YES. As long as Ricky (and Ashley Sarah bc of Switzerland) keeps his mouth SHUT, Abbey and I can avoid tribal. We just gotta establish getting 5 others to go to tribal in our place.

So I finally get Abbey on a call. She agrees to be middle man with me and Ricky. She says Ricky is cool to work with me and he wants to put Hawaii behind him. So I'm like nice, make an alliance chat. So she does. Ricky to Abbey in pm's: I AM NOT GOING TO THE END WITH AMANDA I WILL BE NICE A CORDIAL BUT THIS IS NOT AN END GAME THING. Hm... Guess bitterness is hard to swallow no matter how much time passes.

Okay so here's the sitch: this one world/pair challenge twist is like pretty tame considering I thought I would get voted out for missing the announcement lmao but like it still makes things very interesting. Rafael, honey, you're playing this game way too hard you're on some Monopoly shit when we're still just trying to play hopscotch - he's gonna get his ass voted out sooner or later with all this overplaying and I can't let that happen before Ruthie/Ahsley because after the idol stunt I can tell those two are here to really play the game and can make shit happen, especially with these jumpy newbies. Ricky (my love) keeps saying not to worry or think too far ahead, but I have all the scenarios (insert Jozea gif) running through my head of how things are gonna go. But basically right now I just need to avoid the pair challenge tribal because that shit sounds rough.... OR I could use Rafael's overplaying against him in that tribal OR use the Ruthie/Ashley idol panic situation to get them voted out.... like I said: scenarios!!!! They all wanna play the game so badly so all I need to do is give a little suggestion and ~~~puppetmaster~~~ Rafael will go for it and it can blow up in /his/ face not mine :) :) :)

Toph is really nice, and I want to go left with him. However, at the same time, everyone else on the Dying Alliance (Amanda G, Bryce, Will, and Mo) is going left too. That means the tribal council may be decided by randomization. I do not want that. I would rather guarantee my safety. However, Toph has invited me to an alliance with Amanda Lynn. I can't pass up this chance to start creating bonds before merge. It is certainly a prisoner's dilemma I face.

this challenge is literally all chance and my tribe wants to keep talking about it and worrying and strategizing like ok we will not know what the outcome is until tomorrow night so let's all just breathe and stop strategizing for .5 seconds

I'm very happy the vote was unanimously for Aundra and that no one tried to pull anything last minute. I believe this vote made our tribe stronger and I feel like everyone trusts one another a little bit more now. Even more so with this new One World twist. I'm just hoping to avoid tribal for a little bit longer. I'm not too excited about going back.

This One World twist is pretty nice but now everyone talks in the tribe chat and I feel like I have nothing to add and I'm not funny. I messaged everyone but I've really only talked to Will and Mo. Mo is sweet, he's my partner. We both agreed that we would go left so both of us could avoid tribal. I hope he stays true because I'm going left regardless. It wouldn't be beneficial to me to go right and break my trust with Mo and it wouldn't be beneficial to go to tribal in the first place. If I go and Mo doesn't, that's fine. I don't think people would target me and I believe my tribe will stay together and vote out someone from the other tribe. I feel that I could work with both Mo and Will in the future. They're both nice and I think I've gotten along with them well.

Once again, Toph is being messy and not thinking before he acts. He was talking to Rafael, his partner, and gave out some names (MINE) and asked if they would be safe. BITCH!!! Toph, please, stop. I'm very uneasy about Toph throwing my name out to anyone he talks to for even a second. He's not being careful. And people are bond to figure out we're working together. I swear I'm trying my hardest to keep it a secret and I'm keeping shit to myself but Toph can't hold his tongue! Oh my god. I love the kid, I do, but he can't chill out. On another note, a person on my tribe that I have strengthened my relationship with is Ali! He's so nice honestly. I hope to be able to work with him in the future. I believe that's all I have to say for now - goodbye!

The more I think about it, the more upset I get. I don't remember exactly what I said in my last confessional regarding Ricky but, it's bothering me. Basically, he told me we could put Hawaii behind us, since it's been a YEAR and we both just want to be over it. And when Abbey told me he said the same thing to her, I really believed him. But then he goes and tells Abbey that pretty much he's not over it and doesn't trust me and wants me out. Now I know I talk about Hawaii all the time. I won, and I walked through hell to get there. I feel like I'm allowed. But this is a new game, and I was honestly willing to put it all of is behind us if he was. But if he can't and he's going to hold it against me and potentially ruin my game down the line, I can't risk it. I'm trying to get Ricky out before we wind up on a tribe together. I talked to Ali and explained our history to him and got him to agree to go right for the challenge, even if it's risky. The kid trusts me 100% (at least that's what he's giving off), so it's nice to have him in my back pocket, separate from Toph and Emily. So Ali agreed to go right, and honestly, anyone who doesn't trust their partner needs to just go right. Not trusting your partner? What's that like? Shout out to random.org for pairing me up with the one person I trust unconditionally! Anyway. I don't know. I'm just trying to navigate sharing enough info about me and Ricky with my alliances to keep their trust, but not enough to expose myself as a threat. Forgot to do one of these yesterday but this twist is so fun. One world is my fave season so its only fitting that I should win a One World style Org ;')! Ali and I have been talking about our partners. Mine is Mo and his is Ricky. He is really uneasy about Ricky and believes that Ricky will go right and Ali will have to go to tribal. He says he's probably going to go right just in case Ricky goes right. Better both of them go to tribal than just Ali. Also, Amanda told Toph and I that she has played with Ricky before, and that it didn't end well. I'm glad Ali is going right because I'd like to get Ricky out as soon as possible. Amanda was vague about what she told us but I'm hoping she opens up about it more so we know what exactly happened and we know what to avoid with Ricky. As regards to my partner, I trust him. Mo seems a little too timid to turn on me and go right. We're both going to go left, as far as I know. I'm going with my gut but I keep having seconds thoughts thinking that Mo is some evil mastermind. I don't know. I'm hoping for the best. I am hoping that, if anyone avoids tribal this round, it's Toph, Amanda, and I. They both seem to trust their partners (I feel like Toph trusts too easily though...) and I'm hoping for a smooth tribal avoidal for the three Merge Hopefuls.

See the thing is, if I go right that guarantees at least that my partner goes to tribal council. And since he's acting like he really doesn't care that much (about the challenge or the game in general) I feel entirely fine doing that lol, I somehow already have ammunition against him if we both end up at tribal and I can easily flip the vote against him if I feel like I'm in danger. As long as it isn't me, right?

I trust my partner enough to go left, but I haven't sent my official message yet. My tribe mates have been discussing going right in order to push the other tribe's members to tribal especially since those on the other tribe might go right so if we went right then we could use this as a chance to vote out someone from Espirito should everything work out ideally. I'm not positive about which direction I'm going to go quite yet though. I'll decide closer to the deadline.

I trust Emily to go left, but if she goes right I assume it's for the better of her tribe so I understand.

While sitting on the toilet, I came up with a strategy that I think might work in the favor of the Salao tribe, assuming that they haven't voted yet because it is a bit late for me to be coming up with a strategy like this.

My thought process is that we don't exactly want to avoid tribal, we just want to avoid voting out our own. And the way we would do that is by having the majority at tribal council. If all but one of the Salao tribe goes left, then some of us go to tribal and some of us don't, all depending on how Espirito votes. I am assuming some of the other tribe will vote right, which will send some of our tribe to tribal. And that is not exactly a bad thing as long as we have more people at tribal, and we will if we all vote left, except one person.

If we choose one person on Espirito we would like to vote off, then only the person whose partner that is would go right. Example, if we wanted Mo gone, I would go right and everyone else would go left. If I ended up at tribal because Mo went right, then that's fine. We would still have the majority to vote Mo out. The only problem with this plan is if not enough Espirito tribe members vote right, then we would go to a random tribal and have to fight for our lives. But still, a nine person tribal could result in Salao having a majority and voting out someone from Espirito. I pitched my plan to Toph but he hasn't responded. I just need someone to reassure my plan before I pitch it to the whole tribe. :0

I have to say that this challenge is very nerve wracking cause it's so much of a crapshoot because you can't be 100% sure how the other tribe is going to go which leaves a lot up in the air. Even though we are working out a strategy, we can't guarantee its success because we can't be certain of the other tribe's actions

Anyways, I was right in choosing right. That other tribe is a bunch of snakes is what it is. Toph asked me about certain people like Gwen on which way their partner went, and then those people go right after I tell Toph their partner went left. I'm glad that snake is going to tribal. He will be voted out. Ray doesn't want to be here so he is not our concern. Toph will go for his attempt at taking a shot at our tribe. Point blank. Michael, Ali T, and Gwen are snakes and if they make merge they are gone.

Well, our plan didn't work. However I'm glad I went left because it's better for my social game in interactions with the Espirito tribe. Since the opportunity to talk to them has opened up I have wanted to make a good connection because strong social game is important and I don't want a reputation for being distrustful. I'm worried about Toph and Ray going into tribal because they're members of the tribe and it would've been better for us as a whole if we had gotten a numbers advantage but we didn't and now we have to face the consequences of that.

Toph still want to align with me even though I've basically set up his downfall. He wants to do a everyone thinks we hate each other, but we are actually working together. I like it, but he has to survive first. Whether he goes or not, it still benefits me. Kisses.

I told Toph where I had searched for the idol so he could have a better shot at finding it. I want to keep him in the game to keep our tribe together for the time being. Not only that but if he stays in the game after tribal then I will have strengthened my relationship with him and I should be able to count on him as an ally.

My idea to get Toph safe is to flip either Ruthie or Ashley to vote out the other or Ricky. I think it's a good plan. Not only can I blame the outsider for the misvote, but I also gain an ally in Toph when I get to merge. It'll be perfect. I need him here to show that I can be manipulative, I can lie, and I can make big moves against my own allies. I want to start building a resume now, but even if Toph does go, it will not be a bad thing for me.

I know it was my plan but unless someone actually blames it on me I'm just going to be that I don't know her gif. So, Toph and Ray going to tribal wasn't a big deal until Toph blew up on Rafael even after Toph GAVE him permission to go right. Which was absolutely idiotic. Both the telling and the blowing up. Honestly, if we lose Toph this tribal, I'll be upset, but Toph was becoming too much of a handful. Both Amanda and I agree on that. I hate them. And also, Rafael has deduced that Will is a snake and voted for Zoe. This information doesn't really help me too much because I'm not on Espirito but, come merge, I'll know not to trust him. And no one trusts Ricky. Last night, Amanda G accidentally called the One World chat and a lot of people had gotten on. It went well, and I feel like everyone bonded who was there. Then, people started leaving and it was only me, Amanda G, Emily, Toph, and Bryce in the chat. We got to talking and played some games like mafia and town of salem. We really bonded overnight. So we started an alliance called Amanda and the Mafia because Amanda does not have a computer to play mafia so we were all playing but she wasn't. Now I feel bad for sending Toph to tribal when we've become allies. The team's plan is to flip the vote onto Ray instead of Toph. I've already planted some seeds in Ruthie and Toph has been talking to Ricky and Ashley. If they don't flip the vote, Amanda G, Bryce, and I plan on "exposing" Toph by saying he has an idol and plans on playing it for himself. That way our tribe votes off Ray. However, something interesting came up in this talk. Bryce was the one who voted for Ashley at the first tribal. That means that him, Amanda G, and Zoe voted Ashley while me and Mo voted off Ricky. That means that Will had to have been the fifth vote for Zoe. Also, Ricky told Toph that he hates me because I voted him at the first tribal. Who could have told him that? The only people who knew were Zoe, Mo, Amanda G, and Will. Zoe was gone by this point and Mo wouldn't have said anything to Ricky so it comes down to Amanda G and Will. Most likely, Will told Ricky and set the plan in motion to vote out Zoe. Not only that, he also exposed me to Ricky for Ricky to target me. Will is a snake. A scheming, lying snake. This alliance will be beneficial to say the least. I hope this alliance does well. I like everyone there and want to go far with them.

I am so excited. Toph is playing his idol and he's staying. Ashley is going home. I'm making sure everyone thinks I'm alone and out of the loop. I'm currently talking to Will. I am telling him no one in my tribe is talking to me because I didn't put myself out there enough and yadayadayada. I do have a few allies, so I'm good. I tried to help Toph get the idol to keep him safe at tribal but was unsuccessful. The ideal would be for an Espirito member to get voted out at tribal somehow though that's pretty unlikely yet I would honestly rather Ray be voted off than Toph because he's been more inactive and I feel like Toph would be a better ally. I've talked to him a lot and I trust him whereas I know almost nothing about Ray so I would rather him go.

I lowkey have this fear that if Ray stays (which it looks like he will) he's gonna try and call me a snake or turn people on me but... he's also an asshole and people already seem to be in agreement with me over that. I do feel bad for Toph, but it's gotta be someone and right now that's the best option. Me, Ricky, and Abbey are still a solid swing position on our tribe and I'm good with enough people on our tribe and the other tribe that like... I think I'd be fine in a swap.
