Takanobu Aone headcanons part2

I just want to thank @peachyfeelingsx for helping with come up with most of these! ❤️💖

a/n - okay! So my Aone headcanons was my first ever post- it started all of this and it's also one of my more popular post. (thank you all so much!) But- it's really short. So! Here are some more headcanons that I think are really cute- yes, some are going to contradict my previous ones but I really hope you enjoy! 💖

Warnings ⚠️ - none

Let's get this out of the way, he lives with his grandparents.

He has albinism and because his skin is more sensitive to the sun, he always wears jackets and jerseys- just for some extra protection. He also always has sunscreen with him.

I feel like sometime in middle school he got a buzzcut. He didn't feel the most confident at the time so his grandmother got him a couple of headscarfs! it also helped a lot with the sun She got them in his favourite colours and patterns, she showed him all the different ways to wear them. He still wears them whenever he has to work outside.

Most of his mannerisms/habits he learnt from his grandparents. Whenever he stands up, his hands are always placed on his knees because that's how his grandfather stands up. Or how he always makes sure to be the last person to eat whenever he's out with his friends or just sharing his food because that's what his grandfather does.

Whenever someone comes and visits him, he always makes sure that there are some cookies for them. Preferably freshly baked He also always makes them tea because that's what his grandmother does whenever she has guests over.

A gentleman at heart. He opens doors for everyone and always offers his seat if anyone needs it.

I also love to think that he's just so much taller and bigger than his grandparents. He's like twice their size.

His grandmother brags about him to anyone who's willing to listen. She just needs to let everyone know that her grandson goes to Date Tech and that he's an amazing player. Also that he's the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and that he has a heart of gold!

His grandfather brags too! His grandson is a reliable, strong, young man! He's polite and hard working too! He also tries to convince everyone else that he was taller than Aone when he was his age- everyone knows he's lying about that though.

He always gets really flustered whenever they do brag about him to their friends.

His grandmother knits and he definitely knits with her or just sits next to her while she knits.

Whenever his grandmother goes out to town with a few of her friends, he always tags along just to make sure they're alright. He usually just carries all the things they end up buying.

His grandfather wanted to give Aone a suit for when he graduated. None of his old suits would fit Aone so he spent weeks altering them so they would! He wanted his grandson to look respectable with his graduation! Aone was so happy when he got to wore one of grandfather's suit.

His grandparents are more talkative than he is. Whenever they go out together, they always joke around and talk a lot.

They always have some sort of story to share with him. His favourite one is how they met! He wants a relationship like theirs one day. I think that's why he's makes sure to pay attention to a lot of details. Like his grandparents are just so in tune- his grandfather will just fetch his grandmother her blanket right before she sits in the living room. His grandmother will hand his grandfather whatever tool he needs for the garden. They just know each other so well they don't even need to say anything! And because he's not much a talker he has to observe and act.

They have a garden together! His grandfather plants vegetables and his grandmother plants fruits. Aone likes planting flowers that attracts all sorts of insects- butterflies are his favourite.

He has dimples! You don't see them often because... he doesn't smile that often but he has them!

He gets flustered really easily. If you don't know him very well, you wouldn't be able to tell. Usually he'd fidget with his hands or look at his feet or he'll mess with the sleeves of his jacket.

Whenever he blushes, it's really prominent. Because his skin is pale, whenever he blushes it looks more red than pink.

His grandparents told him that first impressions are really important. He knows he comes off as intimidating, and he of course doesn't talk much so how exactly does he make a good first impression? He makes sure he smells amazing! He smells like flowers. It also help him feel a bit more confident because the smell of flowers really calms him down and who doesn't like to smell nice?

thank u for the ask!! i’ll do aone bc i have more headcanons for him

a: what i think realistically: he’s the youngest but by far tallest of five siblings! he actually has an older brother n sister in canon, i just think it’s fun for him to come from a big family

b: what i think is hilarious: he n futakuchi have been bestfriends since they were little kids so futakuchi can tell exactly what aone is thinking just by a look or small change in body language, to the point that futakuchi can extrapolate whole conversations w him w/o aone having to say a single word. it’s a beautiful friendship, rlly

c: what is heart-crushing and awful: he got bullied a lot as a kid for looking different n acting weird so he didn’t have many friends at all growing up, mostly just futakuchi once they met late into elementary school. he considers the team his closest friends n would do anything for any of them

d: what would never work with canon but i believe anyway: he’s got albinism n is autistic! all of his family r pretty pale skinned n fair haired but he’s the only one that actually has albinism. bc of this he also is slightly hard of hearing n visually impaired, which contributed to his reputation as being rlly scary (gotta squint all the time bc he can’t see, can’t respond to ppl when they speak too quietly to hear.) now he wears contacts on the court n glasses off, n uses JSL or a binder of PECS cards to communicate w most ppl!
